    • Oh so they didn’t call Mutinta? Oh she was visiting her husband at Kamfinsa!

I truly hope ECL will appoint a credible Ambassador to the US. A person with integrity and intelligence who can make the right connections in DC for Zambia and represent the country well. The current situation is a joke.

    • @1,

Hatred and envy have impaired you. Get it here, life is a moving target. I thought people in Chawana are also God’s creation. Most of us where not born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Coming from poor families, grew up in abject poverty yet have defied some odds of life and your sense of entitlement. We are enjoying terrific health, peace of mind and the corporate world is making decisions based on our expert judgement. God is not a respector of persons he has elevated the Lungus with a high table before their enemies. Ours is a God of Oracles.

    • Yes they lived in Chawama so what? God has found them worthy of service to humanity. They were not to be static but dynamic at God’s appointed time which is no other than this. Now let their enemies scatter and God remain God. Say Amen!

    • Just google “Starkey Hearing Foundation awards gala” and you will see this article is full of lies about whose attending.

    • Please save us your little sobering speech will you.. who can forget the hate you directed in Old man Sata’s direction? The moment Lazy Lungu joined forces with your Ruphiah Banda did you start supporting PF..you have no intergrity whatsoever to advise anybody and you call yourself senior citizen really laughable.

    • @Senior Citizen: Amen to that, well said!! It’s unbelievable the prejudice being displayed here. So people from Chawama or any other compound are not worthy Zambians?? What a bunch of stuck up, unpatriotic, evil b.u.f.f.oons these characters. It has hurt some people so much that a common man with a humble background can achieve so much while the privileged with all their connections cannot inspire the masses!!! Shame on them!!!

    • @Senile Citizen, its very laughable that you and your administration go around pretending to be Christians and yet we all have seen your brutality and quest for power.
Trust me, God has nothing to do with how they have tricked themselves into state house. Success by Boot licking and nepotism is not even close to defying any sort of odds.
God will not answer prayer form the corrupt oppressors.

    • Umodzi Kumawa
Don’t mind him the man’s loyalty is likened to the way a chamelon changes its colour to camoflague itself. I remember him years ago posting all kinds of claptrap about Old man Sata whilst in govt, in opposition and praising MMD ..today he says he is PF…these are people with the Mutatis and Doras are the very people who will come stab Lazy Lungu in the back.

    • @1.7-Umodzi: Edgar Lungu didn’t trick anyone into state house. Infact he had no presidential ambition unlike Kambwili, GBM or Wynter and ofcourse the head donkey and perpetual failure himself, Hakainde. It was on sheer merit that MCS overlooked all these bloodthirsty hyenas and chose someone no one anticipated. Even if we put you on a podium today you cannot prove a gram of evidence of corruption over Edgar Lungu; Something you have constantly failed to do since Mwanawasa’s fake task force or hh’s 1diotic petition!! Your envy and hate has totally destroyed your judgement and has made you the laughing stock of Zambians as you run around aimlessly with no specific plan to inspire Zambians.

    • @Zambian citizen, Normally I would ignore an illiterate Blogger like you, but I thought I should do your mother a favor and let you know you are an ediot.
Theirs Zero content in your comments.

  1. Wasteful, has she got enough brains to feature on a panel discussion? I know she can read and count, but when it comes to complex issues, she will be as useful as a trap door in a canoe.

  2. Some of these awards? Kaya!. How can you award someone who has been using govt funds to uplift peoples lives. That’s just tax-payer money doing what it’s supposed to do. Award somebody for using their own money. Then you know they did it from the bottom of their hearts. Not making trips to donate then collecting travel allowance. Anybody can do that if found in that position. I wonder how much money was donated to this foundation to give such an award. This is what these mukuwas do.

    • I agree. Those are either government funds or donations from well-wishers which she uses to ‘uplift’ the underprivileged in society. Otherwise the work that the First Lady does is supposed to be done by the Minister of Community Development and social welfare

  3. A good thing to be of help to the underprivileged. But to receive awards for that.. .huh kaya
Jesus could have had a PhD kanshi. Any na kaseba sata bagged them awards. Now they’re dry

  4. Starkey Hearing Foundation is a company that sells hearing aids. This award is bogus and not worth the trip. I bet you non of those people are attending that seminar in Minneapolis.

  5. That is how they come in, the only aim is to get contracts from the Zambian Government. Have we ever made any progress with these funny foundations?? The answer is a big NO. Where is Hope Foundation?? Vera is alive, has it gone anywhere, No! Where is Mrs. Levy Mwanawasa’s NGO, dead, Ka Tandiwe, dead, Mrs. Sata, dead. Where are the donors?? Now they have shifted to Mrs. Lungu. These characters know how to play with Zambian First Ladies. Crooks!! Getting the award for doing nothing. It is laughable.

  6. Africans! She travels all the way to america for an unknown award thus spending more money to get it than would help an orphanage. I forget she doesn’t give a hoot its not her money but Zambian taxpayers’

  7. Those with eyes are able to see what you are doing and how much you are putting into it. Keep it up. How I wished all the past first ladies would continue their works under the leadership of a current First lady. Vera, Maurine,Regina where are you guys?

    • Either you are ignorant or just daft …you wonder why the past first ladies are not continuing with their works? Its like asking why the TV is not working during Zesco load-shedding …these foundations are a tool for money laundering and corruption the sooner you realise it the moment you will wake up!!

  8. Its very interesting to note that 90% of upnd cadres here are in the diaspora who care less about this beautiful country. The don’t pay tax to Zambia yet they insinuate that their money is being used.
No wonder they celebrate when something bad happens in Zambia because they are directly not affected yet they forget that they still have roots here.
Thanks to LT for the upgradings as now we will see exactly the interest of the bloggers and besides these diaspora bloggers 3 quarters of them don’t even vote and just insult. 2021 you will be soliciting for votes in chawama were you think nothing good can come out from there.
