Zambia jetted into Swaziland on Friday morning as the final countdown for Sunday’s 2018 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier begins.

Zambia later stayed on in South Africa after the Cosafa Cup when they shifted camp from Rustenburg to Johannesburg where they held a four-day training camp in transit to Swaziland.

Swaziland and Zambia play in a 2018 CHAN first round, first leg match this Sunday.

The two sides will later meet in the final leg on July 22 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Winner will face Botswana or South Africa in the final round in August to decide who qualifies to the tournament Kenya will host this coming January.

CHAN is a second division Africa Cup of Nations exclusively for domestic league players.

DR Congo are the defending champions.

  1. As I said even last time when Zambia lost, Zambia will never win a big tournament under pf. I know most of you will claim that we won afcon under pf but please be realistic because all the planning and training took place under mms and that coach was an mmd recruit. Pf has never succeeded at anything apart from stealing elections.

    • Sad to see that even sports makes you sad. I wonder what on earth will ever be appreciated by you evil man. I don’t know how many devils are in you.

  2. I think this team going no where under coach Wesson this is because we were beaten by Mozambique at our own home soil. When did Mozambique beat Zambia in past if someone say football has changed l disagree especially upon seeing how Mozambique played.on addition if that team(mamba faced Ghana they would have been crushed to ashes.
