First Zambian President Dr, Kenneth Kaunda
First President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda has been admitted to the University Teaching Hospital -UTH- in Lusaka.
And Acting President, Inonge Wina has visited Dr. Kaunda at UTH where he is receiving medical attention.
And Minister of Health, Chitalu Chilufya says the first President was admitted last evening for minor complaints.
Dr. Chilufya says the medical personnel are also conducting general medical checkups on Dr. Kaunda.
The Minister of Health has described Dr. Kaunda’s condition as stable and ready to be discharged from hospital by tomorrow.

The man has remained steadfastly loyal to his UTH even as everyone else (i.e. politicians) keeps seeking external health service on national coffers, even for broken finger nails.

Lazy Lungu is so scared of UTH although its just a stone throw away..not even touring. He would rather go to RSA pretend he is going for State Visit like he has done!!
The others go for treatment outside the country because they are moving coffins (AIDS patients)while the old man KK’s ailments can be attended to at UTH.

He used to go out of the country for medical check up only that we didn’t know because of the one party secrecy. This is what PF is trying to reintroduce. When he went out there was no information of his whereabouts until he returns. There were no independent media to give us any information. When he was certified fit which he has always been anyway, he would then book into UTH presidential suite for formality and political expediency. Wishing him a quick recovery.

Frederick Chiluba, Rupiah Banda, Levy Mwanawasa, Edgar Lungu all fell ill at one time. Which Zambian president or ex-president has ever been admitted to UTH? Only KK. The rest looked at all the money from our taxes and said there is too much money there for me not to misuse it.

Especially late president Michael Sata even built a mini hospital and imported doctors to attend to him. This has been inherited by tourist president Edgar Chagwa Lungu who cares less for resources while allowing his cronies to plunder and steal government resources he goes out of the country for medical check ups of un known illness. See what the father of the nation KK shows by example to be attended by our UTH staff.

He had his faults as do most humans but he did not cause such humongous scares !! It was one Zambia one nation and we were proud to tell the world that in our country there was no room for tribalism. He was always being admitted to UTH and we loved to see him appear on TV!! Ask any European who they know from Zambia… Dr Kaunda the real states man ?? It was always a pleasure to watch him on TV and to listen to his fantastic and charismatic speeches!! Long live KK !!!
