Roan PF Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili and expelled PF former Chimwemwe MP Mwenya Musenge arrived in Monze today to hold talks with some Tonga Chiefs.
They are in Monze to formally apologise to the Tonga speaking people over Mr Kambwili’s anti-Tonga remarks last year.
Then as Chief Government Spokesman, Mr Kambwili said Tongas are so tribal such that they would rather vote for Hakainde Hichilema and not for Jesus Christ if Jesus contested elections.
His statement enraged many Zambians who condemned Mr Kambwili describing the remarks as tribal.
Mr Kambwili has since issued an apology following his expulsion from the PF and promised to travel to Southern Province to formally apologise.
Today, Mr. Kambwili in the company of Mr Musenge and former Kabushi PF Member of Parliament Lombani Msichili and few sympathisers were mobbed by a jubilant mob at in Monze town centre with some asking to shake Mr Kambwili’s hand and take photos with him.
Mr. Kambwili and his delegation was met in town by Bweengwa UPND Member of Parliament Kasauta Michelo who escorted the delegation to Chief Moonze’s palace.
At the palace, the delegation was received by Chief Moonze’s indunas who ushered them to meet the host Chief Monze and chiefs Hamusonde, Chikanta and Chona.
By time of publishing, Mr Kambwili’s delegation and the chiefs were holding a closed-door meeting.

It is one thing to apologize when I realise am wrong.
It is another thing to apologize when I am hungry and I realise you have got a piece of cake to benefit from.
Well, when an apology cones it is always good to take it from a positive point of view because we cannot direct a person’s heart so we need just to unconditionally give a benefit of doubt.
But there is no harm in taking sufficient caution while accepting the apologize 100 percent.
UPND has to be very careful, they need to screen some of these people joining the party after falling out with other parties. These same people may come and cause problems for the party in future esp if they won the elections. What do people like GBM, Nevers, Kambwili, Musenge, have in common? Why such an influx of bembas into UPND? How did they leave their party? Do they mean good or not? Before you know it UPND will be hijacked. Wait time will tell.
I can’t remember to see all the people bemba guys who have defected from PF to UPND to have won any seats as it stands it still those old UPND members who are driving the part forward so the influence of this defectors is low kambwili today if he can stand as a UPND he can loose however hopes everything goes well to this guys

My key observation is that HH might be intelligent, good economist, and financial strategist, but the problem is – he is not politically smart or rather lacks political acumen. From comments above I can see that the IQs of most bloggers are very low, there is no where in the article where it says CK has joined UPND what is there is that he has gone to apologize to the Tonga pipo through their chiefs but you are all busy commenting on what is not in the story.
The best thing the president can do is dismiss all ministers in the morning and after they have apologised to whoever they are going to apologise to, the president can then reappoint them in the afternoon.

The political move by Kambwili and Musenge confirms Kambwili’ acceptance for having been expelled from the PF party. This further seals Kambwili’s fate as he engages in the mockery of the Zambian Courts. Why did he sue the PF to the Court? Musenge had actually started the process of forming the new party that has been hatched with Kambwili.
If Kambwili and Musenge are canvassing for Tonga’s sympathy, this is at the peril of UPND in its strong hold area. Therefore, UPND officials that are embracing Kambwili and Musenge must be intellectually bankrupt.

People do not be duped by This man’s apology or his pretense to be sympsthetic with HH. This is a ploy by these guys to win over UPND members who are not Tonga when they form a new party.
