Lusaka Dynamos on Thursday asked serious questions about leaders Zesco United’s 2017 FAZ Super Division title ambitions when they rallied to beat their hosts in their delayed Week 12 match in Ndola.
Dynamos came from one-down in the 72nd minute to stun Zesco 2-1 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to see the five-time champions suffered their third league loss of the 2017 season.
Zesco took the lead with 18 minutes left on the clock when Davies Kasirye headed-in Jesse Were’s cross to score his debut goal from three games played for his new club.
But Dynamos hit back in the 81st minute when Eric Kabulo nodded-in Clatous Chama’s free kick.
Zesco were knocked out in stoppage time when Fwayo Tembo waltz past Zesco’s defence and goalkeeper Jacob Banda to record his debut goal for Dynamos
Zesco stay top on 38 points one more than Napsa Stars.
Dynamos rise from 5th to 4th on 36 points tied with 3rd placed Power Dynamos and Green Buffaloes who drop to 5th.
Is Zesco United management blind and deaf to the incapabilities of the current mentor? Come on, the guy is failing the club.
Thumbs up to Lusaka Dynamos. You are better organized than Zesco.
The mentor is fine. Lusaka Dynamos have been good this season. They deserve the credit. Fire Nyirenda!!
Comment:Lusaka dynamos is proving us why the club sprushed such money on certain players
In football there is nothing like a team being shocked. All teams prepare adequately for the game and the results can go either way. ZESCO is big team in MTN FAZ Super League but other teams are equally BIG that’s why they are in that league. Even CITY YA MOTO is a BIG TEAM despite suffering a string of defeats. Well done LUSAKA DYNAMOS. Its the team of the moment from the Midlands. GO GO BOYSand WIN the league this season. Its yours
