Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) Executive Director Wesley Chibamba (L)
Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) Executive Director Wesley Chibamba has demanded that the Teachers who were fraudulently on Government payroll with forged qualifications should pay back the money they drew as net salaries.

Mr. Chibamba said there is not justification to fraud and the money should just be paid back without fail to deter would-be offenders in the near future.

And the TIZ executive Director noted that the qualification audit should be extended to all civil servants because public offices in Zambia have a lot of impostors and that’s why incompetence in Government can be seen by everyone now.

Mr. Chibamba alleged that political party cadres are given jobs they do not deserve in Government.

“They do not qualify for the positions they were holding. It can be argued that they worked and therefore deserve the money, it can also be argued that we have a shortage of teachers”

“This is no excuse for fraud. A lesson should be made out of them”

“We would like this qualification audit to extend to all civil servants, we have a lot of impostors in government and that’s why we have such incompetence. Cadres are given jobs they do not deserve” Chibamba said

  1. Leave her alone. It’s her body!

    Body Decorations of African Cultures
Africans have ancient traditions for decorating and accessorizing the body in rich and varied ways. Traditionally, many African peoples wore little to cover their bodies, leaving their skin exposed and available for decoration. Africans adorned themselves in four general ways: scarification, body painting, beadwork, and jewelry……..

    • Why ask Teachers only when you have Ministers who fraudulently worked in government and till now they have not paid back a ngwee?

    • Ba TIZ nabo pay back what? Are you also going to pump back the knowledge they imputed into your danderhead. Just delete them from the teaching service.

      kwamana.

  2. TIZ is right and welcomes to flash out those political cadres.
The same call should be made for the PF Ministers that continued to use government resources during the 2016 election campaign period as ordered by the court.

  3. They are supposed to be flown behind bars for forgery, how can they deny those with qualifications to languish in the compounds when they are busy enjoying the salaries which they don’t deserve to get. A lot of these dull people have perplexed us how they managed to go through with good “fake” grade twelve and tertiary certificates when they were the least performers in classes. One would wonder to see a person who never passed any class test amongst them during job hunting armed with tertiary and grade twelve certificates.
The government should scrutinize all the sectors thoroughly so that people who deserve employment can be given the opportunity.

  4. Some people stayed in office illegally for 3 months and to date have not paid back the salaries obtained during that time, where is TIZ in such matters?basiyeni cabe!!!!

  5. They are no different to those PF illegal ministers in Lazy Lungus govt..they should have paid our monies and set an example!!

    • Exactly what I was about to comment. Let the Ministers who illegally got salaries and allowances after dissolution of parliament last year be the first ones to pay back, followed by those fake teachers.

  6. Why is it that the so called men of color or aliens always say things against the ruling party, just remembered the sentence the white folks call those black people in diaspora ” if you are denying read the comments posted on one of the articles in the sun newspaper, the bloggers have posted that ” only aliens can be seen following the lady”, and “men of color ……..” wise up men of color and come back home rather than been ridiculed as if you don’t have homes. No wonder why you are always on the opposition just to bottle out the frustration you are going through wherever you are.
There is no party which is good in your brains, it was the same with UNIP, MMD and now PF as long as they are in power.
Just swallow your pride and come back to the so called zoo by the whites…

  7. The key is to nab the authorizing officer. A cadre or any other person not qualified for the job cannot find his way without approval from an officer either in government or elsewhere

  8. Comment:
A job well done by the Teaching council. A similar forensic exercise be carried out for the rest of the civil service to remove fake employees.

  9. Pf and lungu are the most corrupt grouping ever to have ruled Zambia…….there is corruption, looting and thuggery everywhere you look

  10. The little I know is that any civil servant at the PS level should at least have a genuine minimum degree to qualify for such appointment and as Technocrats. Is that the case with the Copperbelt and Central provinces PSs, Defence PS and others that I may not know? Yes MPs and Ministers can have G12 certificates but the important civil service portfolios should not be up for grabs by illiterate cadres. Permanent Secretaries are technocrats who should be able to run the government wheels in the absence of politicians.

Yes for those who have been masquerading as Teachers or other civil service employees when they are not and are still alive, paying back must be done, but what about those who died as masquerades and their benefits have already been chewed by the families?

  11. spaka like lile….. can you see PF’s corruption even in London, wise up man or woman of color……… as you are usually called that side……I am sure you have taken more bananas than enough today wherever you are in Europe as can be seen by the flag besides your fake name.

  12. My son , very intelligent , graduated with a merit but can’t find a job. I like your thinking mwaiche Wesley Chibamba.

  13. How were they employed? Check every ministry. Those things are not there in the private sector. Hope they never conived with HE managers. It shouldn’t end by firing them.

  14. I WISH WE COULD BE THIS VOCAL WITH THE MINISTERS WHO DREW MILLIONS OF KWACHA WHEN THEY ILLEGALLY SERVED IN GIOVERNMENT. LETS NOT SHOW DOUBLE STANDARDS. THESE MINISTERS SHOULD ALSO BE ARRESTED. FRAUD IS FRAUD IN EVERY FORM!

  15. The civil service is blotted with upnd followers, this is the right time to purge them by inspecting their papers. Wina alila.

  16. A shortage of teachers and big number of them are just in the compounds waiting for deployment. Northern Rhodesia temunobe.
