Football legend Kalusha Bwalya says Zambia has the capacity to beat Nigeria in this Saturdays Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

Kalusha says he feel that Zambia has done exceptionally well especially in the last two games against Algeria.

He said the last year match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium between the two sides and the result is now history and will not have an effect in this Saturdays game.

“This Saturday game will be a high pressure match and i feel playing at home Nigeria will be more under pressure which can work to Zambia’s advantage. I have always had great respect for the Super Eagles and it’s array of world class players but, if there is a team that can beat Nigeria in Nigeria it’s Chipolopolo,” Kalusha said.

“This is a last throw of the dice. It is a must win match. The team has done exceptionally well. The result against Algeria was a big psychological win and Zambia always rises to the occasion, when needed most,” he said.

“Notwithstanding , it is important to acknowledge the value of the Nigeria encounter and that it is the most important game Zambia will play in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.”

The former African Footballer of the Year said the current squad has players who are able to score at any given opportunity adding that the boys are in good form coming to this match.

“A team needs to score a goal in any game and this team has potential goal scorers. The young guns have brought a new dimension to the team.”

He added, “Never has the experience of goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, Stoppila Sunzu’s marshaling of the defensive line, Enock Mwepu emergence as a midfield brain with the finishing of Patson Daka upfront be required than in this crucial match. I expect a solid entertaining match with end to end action.”

“If you look at all the African Groups in this WC FIFA 2018 qualifying series, coming into the last two games, each team is fighting for those important valuable points.”

Wishes dont always come true. 11 Zambians will meet 11 Nigerians in Uyo. And Zambia know nothing is impossible especially when Nigeria is so jittery after two losses at home

This your legend was in Algier 90 where Zambia lost to Almighty Super Eagles 2-0. He ran like hungry lion in Tunisia 94 where Super Eagles walloped Chipolopolo 2-1. As a choach in Kaduna, he lost to Super Eagles 2-0 in a friendly match. What does it have to say… If he likes let him wear boots and join Chipolopolo.. Zambia will be humiliated. Super eagles are not in the same level with Chipolopolo. Super Eagles were in Ndola where Zambia team were humiliated. Zambia should stop playing Mind-Game and concentrate on AFCON Qualifiers… Niga are already in Russia. Jubilations have commenced here in Nigeria from Kano to Kaduna to Abuja to Port-Hacourt to Uyo to Ibadan to Lagos. Up Super Eagles

Any English major on LT? He said they have the capacity to beat Nigeria , he didn’t say they will. If you went to grade school in the 90s we use to learn composition and comprehension then for class exercise we will do “CAN YOU REMEMBER “

The legend Kalu knows who Nigeria is because he played as a Zambian against nigeria and he was dealt with. Tunisia 94, this legend ran like mad dog throughout the field but we outplayed them. I must confess they were strong opponents. World cup ain’t for weak teams, it’s for bigger names with bigger talents. Zambia is just starting.. By the way, what of those katongo team players?

No Moses, Mikel, Ikem, Ighalo, Balogun etc in the Super Eagles that South African beat in a competitive match in the history of South Africa.

It’s a rejuvenated Zambian side that no team in Africa, high flying Super Eagles included, may under-rate at own peril.

MY DOTA NCHIMUNYA PREDICTS ZAMBIA 4 – nigeria 1… She always right with her predictions.

However, the coach should have given other players an equal chance to prove themselves. As a Pastor he should have buried the differences he has with Kalaba and Fwayo.

For instance, one on one Mbesuma(despite his tired legs) is better player than Ngonga and Chingandu combined together. As matter of fact he is the one who scored for us in Cameroon. Kalaba is still a better midfielder than most midfielders we have carried to Nigeria. Fwayo is another great soldier he has left back home.
A best general does not leave his top soldiers at the rear when going for war… Posterity will judge Wada harshly.

I WISH HIM AND THE CHIPOLOPOLO BOYS ALL THE BEST IN UYO

The Zambian coach and players are PRETENDERS to Russia 2018. Watch my lips: They cannot make it to Russia, they will not make it to Russia, they are an immature bunch of soccer players with some potential, but are not humble enough to pay the dues and rise to the pinnacle of the sport. Listen: As of TODAY, not even Brazil or Germany or Belgium or even Egypt can boast that they’ll trash the Super Eagles in a competitive match. Let these Zambians pray NOT to fall into a group with Nigeria in any qualifying series AGAIN.

Zambia are too arrogant. Honestly I never knew they are arrogant like this. This Afcon U20 has really made u people blind. Check the records and look at the number of times that Flying Eagles has won Afcon U20 even got to reached final twice. How can you come to Nigeria and beat Nigeria in Nigeria? You were just saying the same thing… South African beat Nigeria.. Is it the same players that Played against South Africa are the same players that played Cameroon. Germany cannot come to Uyo and beat Super Eagles. Pray next time not to be in the same group with Nigeria again.

No one has said Zambia has beaten nigeria in uyo yet. We are saying we believe our team can beat nigeria because this is a game of football were time and goals are the only things that matter not the number of players playing abroad. In the last game, the coach featured zambian team B against nigeria in ndola and we lost. This time around its a different ball game. So like always it will be 11 against 11.

Kalu is entitled to speak his mind concerning the Super Eagles of Nigeria vs Zambia match, if he says Zambia can beat Nigeria in Uyo it is also possible to say that Nigeria can equally beat Zambia. My take is that Nigeria will beat Zambia just as they did in Ndola in match day one, two days short of one year ago.

We have less than 7days now and another loud mouths who want to tell their fathers that they the one who first got a child before him forgetting that they are sons and daughters of their fathers. I have said this before , worry your head on another world cup Qualifing group not this one. Algerian coach have advised you on this but you don’t want to listen. Your Government couldn’t give you money for Spanish tours because they know is going to be a wasted resources. God has crowned the SUPER EAGLES efforts by giving them this chance and blessing them with abundant of talents. Please we respect you as nation trying to grow in football but not to respect your father. I say again, SUPER EAGLES WILL KILL AND BURY YOU IN UYO IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

Whether Nigerians like it or not, the Uyo Battle will leave them dead embarrassed. To be honest, I have a lot of respect for the Super Eagles, but this Saturday will go down in their history books as the day of shame. I know I am not God, but Zambia is capable of shattering the Super Eagles’ 2018 WC dream right there in Uyo. Mark my words.

You Nira Boyz, kindly consult our man of God, TBJ, if your Super Eagles will survive the humiliation in Uyo this Saturday. You are luck, Brian Mwila, is injured. The young man has no respect for any defense in such high profile competitions.

We are using the newly designed copper bullets improved by North Koria to enable us bring down any obstacle found on our way to Russia 2018 WC. Our bullets have an imaginable power to drop the highest flying eagle down within 90 minutes.

Nigerians want to believe their overly rated team will beat zambia. But they dont want to hear Zambian fans to believing the same in the zambian team. Only 90 minutes will tell.

Zambias form at the moment is far better than that of Nigeria. The question is no longer whether Zambia will beat Nigeria, but how many goals will Zambia beat Nigeria. All Nigerians who understand football don’t doubt this fact. Nigeria will surely be lucky to lose by a goal to zero.

Super Eagles of Nigeria will teach Chipolopolo of Zambia how to play good football on Saturday. Your boys will try their best but their best will not be good enough to give them victory against the Super Eagles. Nigeria will beat Zambia the same way she beat Zambia in Ndola. Mark my words.

Nigeria last lost to Zambia in 1985

Nigeria last lost a World Cup qualifier in June 2004

Nigeria are unbeaten in 34 games of World Cup qualification matches

Nigeria last lost a home World Cup Qualifier in October 1981

The bookies are offering to multiply your money by 8 if you bet on Zambia winning and they win. i.e your 100 dollars will become 800 dollars.

The Zambian team is maybe one for the future and truly do not stand a realistic chance of winning in Uyo. In football they say anything is possible, but clever people know where to draw the line on cliches.

This new Zambian team is a team of the future. They cannot match Nigeria in any competitive game. Nigeria will surely be one of the teams that will represent Africa in Russia in 2018.

remember ivory coast, Ghana, Egypt, Algeria, morocco, Tunisia and them Zambians. rewind your tape from 1970s. that time little or there was no Nigerian football team on the map. Zambia are out to prove that the eagle can be shot down at its hatchery using pallets (chipolopolo). the team focus is 2018.
