  1. me wondering too; but then this is Zambia the real Africa where even in Kalingalinga there are shopping malls and shat is supposed to be a grocery is a shopping mall

  2. Its like most of you do not understand the meaning of production. Any value addition is production .do not narrow your thinking

  3. Why is it that only the VP’s and tour guide’s heads matter? If hardhats and dust coats are needed to tour the plant, don’t others in the entourage deserve protection?

Next time Madam Veep, better would be to have someone to think about the messaging (they call it scene setting). Or maybe you want us to conclude this government cares only about the safety of its VIPs and plant managers and not the average Zambian… or even your hanger-on’ers with time for a day out?

  4. WHAT DOES THIS PLANT DO? DOES IT MANUFACTURE FERTILISER OR IT IS JUST A DISTRIBUTION POINT OF IMPORTED FERTILISER? JOURNALISM PA ZAMBIA LIVES THE READERSHIP WITH A LOT OF VERY BASIC QUESTIONS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELT WITH BY THE MEDIA.

    • They didn’t enter the inside these lazy reporters. That plant is by a Chinese company called Sunshare. The same guys who have purpose up that building behind Radisson blu hotel.

  5. What is a fertiliser plant? Good Answer: “A place where an industrial or manufacturing process of Fertiliser takes place”. Clear Answer, anything other than that is not a plant. A storage facility is not a plant. So either the journalist is dull or someone is a liar.
