  1. Congratulations aWalya. Eliminated from the presidential equation bid as well.Serve the nation with pride and put us on the map Sir. Noti ukulanwafye ama coffee uko noku kumbwa ichalo chabene

    • He should use everything to market Zambia honestly and diligently. His background as a journalist, radio station manager and a priest should help.

    • Looooong overdue!!
I fought for him as Foreign Affairs minister, but it didn’t work.
Now question to my friend Frank; are you going to marry in Australia?

    • Replacing a George Zulu with a Bwalya in such a strategic mission is a manifest that H.E Chagwa Lungu is not of the tribal political league bantustanism HH Core Privatization Rooter Hakainde Chintombwa is made of by character, spirit and motivation.

Big ups Bwalya and all the best in serving mother Zambia! For George Zulu, thanks for your many years of service since UNIP days. Now go mourn your late dear wife in peace. Every race has its end.

    • I guess it doesn’t take much to be a diplomat. Even those with no experience, that’s why zambia benefits nothing from these appointments. No quality

    • The more garbage you spill, the more attention you get and then you are rewarded !!! That’s how it goes.
      NEXT……

But that dressing Mr. President is not presidential. Stripped Jacket??? Hmmmm…who is the adviser?

    • @1.4 FRANK BWALYA HAS NEVER BEEN A BOOTLICKER. FRANK BWALYA IS JUST HIMSELF AND WORKS HARD FOR WHAT HE EARNS INCLUDING THE RECENT APPOINTMENT AS AN AMBASSADOR TO AUSTRALIA. OPPOSITION YA PA ZAMBIA- YOU JUST PRAISE AND CONGRATULATE DEFECTORS. HAD FRANK BWALYA DEFECTED TO ANOTHER PARTY OR FORMED UP HIS OWNED PARTY HE WOULD HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF PRAISE. SO, MY CONCLUSION IS THAT MOST OF THE OPPOSITION PARTIES IN ZAMBIA ARE A BUNCH OF SADDISTS.

    • @1.7 what has tribe got to do with it. Sometimes I don’t blame Mushota’ rhetoric. With this tribalistic attitude Zambians won’t get any where. If Franc is the right man for the job then well and good if not, then too bad for Zambia!

  2. Congratulations Frank Bwalya on your deserved appointment as Zambia’s High Commissioner to Australia.. You
    played your cards well.

  3. I have been wandering for some time now why Frank has been neglected for so long despite remaining loyal to the president. Congratulation !!!

  4. Finally it has happened, after a long and wait. Iyo washipikisha netoloshi lyasuka lyachuchuka? Congratulations, you have been sent to where we won’t hear about you in a long time

  5. I think Lungu is a joke, honestly, how could he send a bloody ***** like Bwalya anywhere, worse still Australia? It seems it really pays to be Bemba in Zambia, look at thast other fool in Korea called Barry While Kapumba Mumbanyoko, or the wayward boy Mwamba in South Africa? It’s just Nyanjas and Bembas everywhere you look, this tribal bigotry is recking this country apart, it honestly sickens me that Lungu couyld be this Satanyokalistic in terms of his appointments. And at least if he was appointing capable people I could understand, but these fools he is appointing will only do much damage to this country.

  6. Ha!!
A stone throwing Demagogue is now an Ambassador??
Hence Zed is really a failed venture under clueless Komboni saturated P.F
Now a Mposa- Mabwe gets rewarded @ the expense of Development.

  7. Congratulation brother Frank for the appointment and wish you the very best ahead, i trust that this appointment will open new and better doors for you.

  8. Congratulations Father Bwalya. Every thing in life has it’s own time. Actually God’s time is the best of all times. MAY THE GOOD LORD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY

  9. 1 thing I still remember about KK’s legacy is the manner he appointed career diplomats to head missions abroad. He also used to appoint real technocrats as permanent secretaries for various ministries. That is forever gone. We now have career cadres and bootlickers ascending to such positions.

    • This is the reason we have almost all diplomats being recalled at the change of regimes. All cadres in the foreign mission return home when power changes hands

    • Ulabeja! most of Kaunda’s relatives were sent abroad as diplomats. Some have never come back because they opted to settle abroad. UNIP had missions in some countries that we didn’t even know about, they were not even mentioned in social studies.

  10. You put sh.it into the diplomatic service , you get sh.it out…………this is the FB who did not know untill recently that the USA provided aid to zambia ….he came shouting that the USA gives Zambia nothing ……that was when US ambasodor showed concern at lungus clampdown on democratic freedoms……..

  11. I would rather be a priest, it’s more honorable.
And Frank being frank, he couldn’t pretend to be a priest no more.

  12. The empty tin is barking Hagain using the other side! Congratulations Mr. Bwalya, sadly I will miss you so much! You know how to handle a tribal party.

  13. It’s time to enjoy your fruits of politics .it’s long overdue .I wish it was me but hey politics is for the thick skinned people who have the ability to tolerate insults and never ending critism .I can’t manage that.

  14. We did well Mr. Bwalya! You tried to pump in some sense in some people! Sadly, some people are like sweet potatoes, they cannot be straightened. Pray for them!

  15. What I understood was that if you weren’t married then you don’t qualify to be a diplomat. At one time it was rumoured that FTJ prevailed on VJ to marry before he appointed him minister of foreign affairs

  16. Happy new year ba Bwalya. Am sure you are immune to criticism for you have stood and preached before many people and not all can agree with you all the time. That given you is a reward for that score in the PF team. To others, your time shall come, keep working hard.

  17. Politics of appeasement. I mean, would you really think this appointment is based on merit or royalty? my thoughts exactly.

  18. He’s not the HC yet must be accepted by the Australian Governor General when he arrives in Australia, Australia does not have a mission in Zambia since 1992 when it closed after Chiluba’s son stole the Australian Govt Car in Lusaka and smashed it, as the Zambian govt refused to arrest Chiluba’s son so the Aussies packed up and moved ops to Harare. Will be interesting to see what happens.

  19. When is the President appointing new District Commissioners, DCs in the ten provinces who will serve till 2021.

  20. Congrata Ba Bwalya. These are the fruits of your being persistently focused in contributing to the needs of the poor through the PF as the true biblic Mother for the people of Zambia. We trust your abilities to sell Zambia in Australia and adjacent New Zealand. God bless Ba Bwalya
