Dr Nevers Mumba in court

MMD Faction leader Dr Nevers Mumba says he has been arrested for a crime which he has been acquitted-criminal trespass at ZNBC.

In a short message posted on his official Facebook page, Dr Mumba quoting Bible scriptures said he was acquitted of criminal trespass but he has been arrested for a crime arising from the same offence for which he was acquitted.

He said, “I can see the elevation, of a God about to do a great thing for his people, but in order to reach and grasp it, we need to be prepared to pay the very highest price.”
Dr Mumba charged, “We shall overcome, may God deliver Zambia.”

“Psalms 30: 5 “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. John 16: 33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Dr Mumba has been convicted and sentenced to three months for giving false information to a public officer after he stormed ZNBC Newsroom in the aftermath of the 2016 general elections.

Why use qoutations form the Bible iwe fallen Hero! When I was young you used to preach on Zambia Shall Be Saved. You joine politics and forgot about your God. Now you are in trouble you pretend that you never turned your back on Him.

Mumba you were convicted of giving false information to a govt official and you were acquitted of trespassing. Under5s here will believe you please stop twisting the plain truth. In short you are imprisoned for telling lies just like you're doing now.

Being punished for a crime IS NOT PERSECUTION differentiate that ba Mumba. You are not in that position for preaching the gospel or saving God but yourself. Deal with the consequences and seek restoration period.

There is a difference between crime and misdemeanor. This is not a crime but a misdemeanor. This is politically motivated prosecution which amounts to persecution of political opponents through the use of state machinery. While criminals in Pf who assault innocent people in full view of the police are not even arrested by the police. The zeal to arrest only arises every time the opposition tries to exercise the right to assemble. All fair minded people will condemn what is happening in Zambia today.

The Constitution of Zambia has clearly defined lying to a public officer as a crime and not a misdemeanour. Its not the same as lying among yourselves as you UPND cadres do.

The man is non repentant and that will ruin him. Those who remember this man when he used to preach said, " It would be a demotion to leave the pulpit and join politics". The words of a mouth are extremely strong and one should be careful what they say. He joined politics (the demotion) and his political journey is well documented 1. Sold his party to MMD 2. Appointed VP and fired quickly 3. Appointed ambassador and he started collecting money in false pretense 4. Led MMD and it crumble He needs real repentance not the one on which he turned to the devil

Both you Cadres use your Bellies, & Gluteus muscles to reason, & despite being fully aware of Jonas dishonest past, & lack of leadership qualities, never once thought of uplifting the lives of the poor Zambian, BUT your own bellies & bank accounts, & ensured Jona was in Plot 1, with the raising of Pangas @ Mulungushi Rock. NOW IS THE TIME TO PULL UP YOUR SOCKS, TIE THAT P.F, CHITENGE ROUND YOUR WAISTS, SUNSHA BOKOSI, WHILST SCREAMING @ THE TOP OF YOIR VOICES -Dununa Iye.... Aaahh yeh.. Dununa iye...DUNUNA REVERSE!!

Dr. Nevers Mumba forgot these key Bible verses in his citation: Second Peter 2:1-3 “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.”

Dr. Nevers Mumba forgot these key Bible verses in his citation: Jeremiah 23:16 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.”

Over the years, we have been vindicated that the question Frank Mutubila asked Dr. Nevers Mumba on Frank Talk before he formed the NCC and I quote, ”would you one day join politics?” His answer was, ”No it would be a demotion to give up my Godly position to serve in government.” Nevers Mumba was wrong because he had jumped several canoes if not ships, he became the spokesperson of the elections petitioners and abandoned them, joined MMD and became VEEP. In his quest for ”Zambia Shall be Saved” he was fired by Levy when he addressed a press conference when his boss was out of the country and said that Moses Katumbi of DRC was fuelling war against Zambia. THIS GUY MIGHT BE THE DEVIL HIMSELF IN SHEEP CLOTHING.

But detractors will call this Fake News. Only those of us who saw that interview know it's true. The man was pursued by some bank for unpaid loans and was only saved by being appointed VP by Levy.

NERVERS IS A PERPETUAL LIAR DON’T LIE, DON’T MISQUOTE THE BIBLE….HE LIED TO A POLICE OFFICE. PLEASE LET ME REMIND THE YOUTH... IN ONE SUNDAY TV INTERVIEW THEN HOSTED BY FRANK MUTUBILA, HE WAS ASKED AND I QUOTE, ”WOULD YOU ONE DAY JOIN POLITICS?” HIS ANSWER WAS, ”NO, IT WOULD BE A DEMOTION TO GIVE UP MY GODLY POSITION TO SERVE IN GOVERNMENT.”

So what? Isn't truth progressive? Even Lungu at one time said he had no vision, but today he wants to go for a third term, he is now our visionary, great leader. Kikikik. But honestly, only PF boitlickers are celebrating this arrest of Nevers Mumba. He is an intelligent leader who is just too powerful for the OF.

@Luapula Premier...times change and people change their views over time. Just because someone said they'll not get into politics at one time doesn't mean that they may not decide to do so later. Maybe when he said that, circumstances in the country weren't as bad as they turned out to be later on. And so it would be okay for him to decide to get into politics. If you search your own life, you'll see that there are some things you said you'll never do, which you nonetheless changed your mind about and did them. Don't you think so? If anything, Nevers Mumba is one of the few politicians who could've made a big difference as President in Zambia, far much better than even Lungu. And this because he is intelligent and has lived in a developed country. Not that you've to have...

HARDLY A YEAR LATER, HE BECAME LEADER OF MMD AND VICE PRESIDENT TO PRESIDENT LEVY MWANAWASA BEFORE HE WAS FIRED.

It shall be well, viva Dr.Mumba.Most of the idiots here would want to give a crooked up version of who this man is. But without doubt, he is one of Zambia's most courageous leaders.
