  1. This is such a sad story. These are women that deserve to be celebrated. Always working hard to ensure their kids have food on the table and not queuing up for handouts. These are heroines who deserve a national day of mourning. My heart goes out to the bereaved family.

  2. Sad. I remember how our friend got buried alive in slime sand. Every time I remember this my appetite goes. It’s not a good way to die.

  3. lame God.This is why we tell you that God is a jerk. The Bible says, “You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!” (Psalm 139:16).So God knew (he is omniscient) these women were going to die from the rock fall but he could do nothing to prevent the mayhem instead remained hidden in the name of giving us free will and choice. If God really exits then he is evil bcoz him being omnipotent (all-powerful) & omniscient (all-knowing) he would used his “divine” intervention but bcoz he is imaginary no help was given to prevent the stone quarries befalling on these women. Can he (god) uncover the one still underground?

    • ******* ****: Logic of your argument cannot be doubted. Have you seen how they have refrained from taking you on? However, this sad really sad for the poor women. They were probably digging stone to sell to road contractors in order to make some money.

  4. God has put a Blessing and a Curse before us,, it all depends on the way you apply your self to either inherit a Curse or a Blessing,,, like any other Organisation has Dos and Donts,, Depending on what you pick,, you get results,, God has not created us like preset robots,, He has given us free will to determine our own Fate,, Are we going to render you normal if you make preset robots and a Judgement day for them? When they respond according to the way you’ve programmed,,,God Created us with brains,, Failure is an outcome we get if we don’t apply ourselves correctly,, The Rocks buried a Mother and a Daughter,, because the safety standards of there work site is Poor,, to avoid further loss of innocent Lives,,this site needs to be evaluated by relevant authorities,

  5. @******* I’m one of the few on this forum that has seen a lot of death and devastation having served in war torn countries such as DRC, Burundi, Rwanda,
    S. Leone and a few others as a UN peace keeper and later as part of various UN observer missions. What I can tell you is yes there is so much suffering in the world BUT we don’t know the meaning of this suffering- even Europe underwent emmense bloodshed from the middle ages right up to the second world war with millions of people dying the worst deaths imaginable but out of that chaos came a civilization that the whole world for better or worse has modeled itself on. My suggestion is read the book of Job- we cannot understand the mind of God to do so is to cheat ourselves But we can and should fear God as our one and all creator -…

    • Ctn… But we can and should fear God as our one and all creator – this is the situation we are in (good or bad)and nothing we can do about it. Lastly to say there is no God as many brilliant minds in the various fields of science do is silly, the greatest scientist Einstein believed in God and who can deny that there is clearly an intelligent design behind everything we see in this universe?
