GBFC visit fortress Nakambala Stadium

Green Buffaloes visit Nakambala Leopards seeking to cut the gap with leaders and defending FAZ Super Division champions Zesco United to one point.

Second placed Buffaloes have 44 points behind Zesco who only play on Sunday when they visit Forest Rangers in an Ndola derby.

But Buffaloes visit a Nakambala side that has lost just twice this season at their Mazabuka fortress.

Nakambala have so far collected five wins and two draws in their nine home games this season in Zambia’s Sugar Capital.

But 15th placed Nakambala need to finally find some consistent form after collecting just two wins in their last 13 games in which they have also record a mere three draws.

Meanwhile, down the road in Choma, third placed Zanaco visit Green Eagles and will be hoping for a third straight win to help consolidate their position.

Zanaco have 38 points although victory will obviously not change their top three status but instead keep them in close contact with the top two sides.
