Nkana missed a chance to go third on the FAZ Super Division table after forcing a 1-1 draw at Buildcon in Ndola on Sunday.
Kalampa rallied to pick a point in this Week 21 match played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Striker Rahim Osumanu put Buildcon in front after 33 minutes with a header following a lapse in the Nkana backline.
Earlier, striker Idriss Mbombo had missed two nice opportunities before Buildcon scored.
Mbombo bumped his shot into the keeper in a one-on-one situation after 16 minutes before heading Shadrick Musonda’s corner over the bar minutes later.
Fifteen minutes after the break, Nkana watched in disbelief as Ronald Kampamba’s goal was disallowed for an alleged offside by referee Darious Kafuli.
Mbombo equalised for Nkana with a low shot after 69 minutes.
After this draw, Kalampa are fifth on the table with 37 points while 9th placed Buildcon have 31 points after 21 matches played.
