The Youths on the Copperbelt are extremely disappointed with the continued use of barbaric and thuggery language by UPND vice president Mr Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba.

Mr Mwamba yesterday on Monday appeared on a program dubbed the Oxygen of Democracy where he found it very comfortable to use words that do not inspire. Just the use of insulting language on any platform, is unZambian, unChristian and is unacceptable and not inspiring to the Zambian youths.

As youths on the Copperbelt, we expect all those who aspire into leadership to inspire others when they appear on public platforms to sell their ideologies. What is now common is the manner in which senior leaders from some opposition parties can find pleasure in using insulting language. What lessons can we learn from Mr Mwamba who wants to stand as vice president of this nation as a running mate to Mr HH, can boost openly and use words that do not want to inspire many Zambians? We live it to the Zambian people to Judge.

Mr Mwamba who is the vice president of a big opposition party should by any means try to inspire the young people to join politics. Unfortunately with his language, he is creating an impression that politics is about insults and vulgar language .

We as youths on the Copperbelt we will not condone such kind of language coming from a top leader.

Further, we feel Mr Mwamba should be the least person to talk about violence. Why do we say so, first, Mr Mwamba is violent himself by his message. Violence for Mr Mwamba starts from his home, his work place and spread to his workers. Who does not know that Mr Mwamba is a violent man? Records are there for anyone to see that he is Mr Violence from his home and workers! So we don’t expect him to be speaking the loudest when he is a subject of violence. No wonder he is now the developer of the ‘Panga for Panga’ theory in UPND. He is busy promoting violence.

As youths on the Copperbelt, we want to make it clear that his theory of Panga for Panga should remain at his home. We will not allow violence on the Copperbelt.

We want Mr Mwamba to learn from President Edgar Lungu who has openly condemned any acts of violence in the country. The President has told us not to be involved in any form of violence.

    • UPND lost by 18,000 votes because of GBM. Mutale Nalumango would have brought in 200,000 votes from CB.

    • GBM looks healthy nowadays, he stated that the wife has put him on a strict no sugar/salt diet ….congratulations GBM…I hope BUFFOON CK follows suit as he is too fat he can not walk a straight line.

    • Never mind ka Chanda! That is why CK calls him ati Kakunkubiti with a small short pr.ik! No woman would even agree to fck a Kakunkubiti! What an ugly prat!

    • Those useless copperbelt PF youths have no remorse for their stupid conduct in Zambian politics. They mahem their brothers and sisters in exchange for shake shake bought by PF from stolen tax payers money. Do these thugs deserve coverage in newspapers? It is a waste of space. What a hell is this so called Nathan Chanda, he is a good for nothing political noise maker with his fellow thugs.

    • PF thugs are scared that since their numbers who support Lungu s thuggery have dwinddled and their chances of intimidating UPND are almost zero after UPND vowed to defend themselves when attacked.

PF are twats who need to be got tod of once and for all.

  1. Pa KMB in Kitwe, youths fight with fists and head banging, but in Lusaka at Intercity they fight with knives.
GBM has worked at Intercity for years.
I don’t like PF at all.

    • How many UPND youths are on the Copperbelt anyway? I am from the CB and I know virtually no UPND youths in my home township – unless all of them are operating underground. The point is that virtually all the youths in Wusakili, Chamboli, Buchi, Kwacha, Chimwemwe, etc are PF. So the distinction you are making is just academic and self-serving to please yourself and other like – minded and self-deceiving bloggers.

  2. WHAT VULGAR LANGUAGE DID GBM USE PLEASE? JUST TAME UR ASSS WHERE IT BELONGS DONT COMMENT WITHOUT THINKING, GBM AND HH ARE SIMPLY SAYING UPND IF ATTACKED SHALL DEFEND THEMSELVES , I MEAN DONT U WANT UR SON TO DEFEND HIMSELF IF ATTACKED, CANT U BE PROUD IF HE HAMMERS KA PUTIETI ON HIS ASSAILANTS?

  3. I think GBM’s mission is to damage UPND. He gives to much credit to PF by his behavior. I have seen this man’s video clips I think he is crazy. For all UPND cadres here trying to defend this moron of a dumbo you are not objective. But a person who expects UPND to be objective is not normal.

  4. @HaJayJay, when PF sends Childish into retirement in 2021, will be ready to support your vice President to take over the reigns of power in UPND or he will become a “Thief'” and “Corrupt” Hagain?

    • @Sharon
You may as well push this sh.it in your extra large mungulu! If it is still itchy, because nobody wants to service you then just pour doom into it.

  5. LT the heading is misleading. It is supposed to read, “PF youths DISAPPOINTED with GBM”. There is no WARNING in that statement.

  6. At the CB youth, really, just say I PF cadre, don’t like GBM, tough dear, how long should my people be oppressed, maimed and killed before they say enough is enough. He who played with a gun will die from it, the panga you are using will one day harm you. If I were you, I would have added to the voice of wisdom of GBM to condemn violence. Believe you me, the voiceless people will one day find a voice, ala tachakawame, let us preach peace and not score points by finding excuses to condemn others.

  7. Ladies and gentlemen, the incoming president of UPND, GBM! He will be welcomed by all! HaSpakata, HaJayJay and Nose demon will spearhead the “acceptance campaign!”

  8. Don’t generalise that CB youths! Pf is violent party even my 4yrs old Son knows that. GBM was right in all fairness….i cant wait for 2021 to come. Zambians don’t easily forget

  9. Bane we need to call a spade a spade. some will add to GBM’s vulgar language in their posts and make unpalatable laguage sound normal.
when the UPND do a ka violent act here and there, no one, including GBM, will condemn them or advise the other party to defend themselves using violence. there are so many examples of IPND violence and i would be very glad for anyone to give me even a verbatim depicting any UPND oficial condemning it. but when its the other way round, they CRY the loudest to the universe

  10. How many UPND youths are on the Copperbelt anyway? I am from the CB and I know virtually no UPND youths in my home township – unless all of them are operating underground. The point is that virtually all the youths in Wusakili, Chamboli, Buchi, Kwacha, Chimwemwe, etc are PF. 11. I agree with #15 FACTS. Acfualky the last time I saw upnd youths on the Copperbelt was two weeks before the 2016 elections, and boy did they look thoroughly defeated and dejected!! Since then they don’t exist, you don’t even hear about their provincial chairperson Elisha Matambo, upnd is very dead there.

  12. There is a difference between coming from the City Limits of the Copper belt and coming from the mainland centre of the Copper belt. Cities,, the city limits are mainly overpopulated by people who can not distinguish facts from wrongs,, unless you’re are youth from the Limits of Copper belt,, Other wise us who have been in the Copper belt from the time we where born to date,, we’ve seen the Economical melt down of a number of Cities and towns in CB,, the number of Malls have increased with foreign Shops,, Job creation is on the downside that’s why in Kitwe people go to the Black Mountain,, back then it was unseen of,a woman selling water pa KB?? That’s against our culture and our respect for women, but what can we do, when there is too much poverty,,The Secretary General in PF uses…
