    • I know that a lot of degree holders have applied for this in different fields. If the Zambia Police were smart they can select those with degrees in different fields that they need and build a much solid police service!!

    • UNEMPLOYMENT STORY’S TIP IN THE ICEBERG AND THE OFFER IS DROP IN THE OCEAN.

      Youth’s Unemployment owes. 1,000 against 57, 601.
The 56,601 still want to work. Mamma mia!!!

    • The fact is the police take home a lot more money than most of us. With corruption at its highest now, police officers can afford to build houses and run farms. Some can now afford to send their kids to London or China for school.

So, why are you surprised by the numbers applying?

    • Please make sure that the MINIMUM education requirement for a law enforcement officer is grade twelve. Don’t employ people with less than grade twelve education. If you can find people with college degrees, it’s even better. Zambia needs smart police officers who can handle today’s sophisticated criminals, and can write a sound sensible report. Secondly, pay extra attention to physical appearance. Strong looking individuals should be considered over lean malnourished looking ones. Nothing against lean people, but if a cop is holding an AK 47, and the gun looks heavier than him, I doubt such a person should be in the force in the first place. When training them, make sure they lift a lot of weights to build muscle. Oh, and don’t forget to feed (pay) them well. Also teach them to be…

    • (Continued)… respectful, courteous, and avoid police brutality. African police in general think that they have a license to practice karate on the suspects they’re arresting. Assaulting a suspect just because you’re arresting them is illegal. There’s what’s called due process, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. On a different note… so many people applying for these limited positions highlights the fact that jobs are scarce in Zambia, because clueless Lungu and his gang are not helping the country create jobs. When the only jobs available are government jobs, then you know that unemployment is way out of hand. Clueless lazy Lungu promises jobs, but fails to deliver. What a shame.

    • This is serious. Our youth should wakeup. VOTE wisely for people who will help your wellbeing. Unfortunately, it’s all about Vi Chibuku and they forget their suffering. Shameful Indeed.

  1. If only HH and MMD did not sale the companies during privatization the problem of unemployment was going to be the thing of the past….

  2. When the’re too many job seekers and very few job creators…that’s the result. What are our professors, Dr’s, lecturers and teachers telling these kids? The curriculum needs to change. In these digital times, you don’t need big capital for a start up. You also don’t need to make profits immediately. Start small and soon you will contribute to 1 less the job seeker market.

  3. Unbelievable ,relationships are never smooth i agree, but knowing that you are on the verge of losing this one person you have known for so many years and shared so much with is not easy,we fought constantly with my husband over even the smallest of things,we started growing apart, i had so much resentment because i had found out that he is having an affair and he started even spending weekends apart,i was going to give up but my friend advised me to fight for my relationship because of my kids, tried changing and being a good wife but he didn’t care anymore and started even sleeping out, i visited PROPHETESS MAMA HOPE a ‘powerful healer’ as my last resort, and it has never been the same again, she performed a special spell for me and gave me a love portion muthi,my relationship has never…

  4. This is a serious indication of the failure to create a wider pool of opportunities in relation to education for development industry. No local manufacturing industry or modern technology ventures to absolve locals – or ignored? Lack of skills due to poor education quality, no political will due to self aggrandizement through corrupt partnerships?

  5. I used to ask myself why men leave me without clear reasons but i couldn’t find an answer ,i remember one day i sat down and counted all men i have met in my life and i felt so small because i know myself am not perfect but i give all i can to the man aiming to remain with him but at the end of the day i remained alone. Men could come and go and i couldn’t see the money i was working for am paid a good salary but i cant prosper time came that i failed to put bread on the table. My friend Warona advised me to contact Mama Hope +27635876438 for a special prayer of cleansing .
Mama Hope advised me that i must do a cleansing prayer to take away all the bad luck and genealogical curse which were following me. We did the prayer online since i was far from him. it took me three days to…

  6. our curriculum is a share waste of time we should change our curriculum it should be entrepreneurship and skills oriented otherwise we are heading for a major disaster a big catastrophe its a shame 50 chakuti years after independence we are failing to create jobs among ourselves

  7. In essence this is saying that there are almost 60,000 people with grade 12 certificates and without jobs

    Thanks

  8. In essence, that gives the unemployment picture of the Zambian youth. Sadly, you see them on PF buses signing as they go to airport to send of Lungu as he goes out to deposit cash in foreign banks. They even stone each other in Mandevu, Kanyama, Ngombe, Chawama and all other ghettos around Lusaka. Sad.

  9. Where are the 500,000 jobs kanshi? The PF nightmare is killing Zambia. The only jobs they can create are for riot police to use in dictatorship. Zambia, please, wake up.
