President Lungu expected in Livingstone tomorrow

President Edgar Lungu is tomorrow expected in tourist capital ,Livingstone in Southern Province to officially open an International Conference on Artisanal and Small Scale Mining and Quarrying.

Southern Province Minister, Edify Hamukale disclosed that the Head of State is scheduled to land at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport at 08:30hrs tomorrow morning.

President Lungu is later scheduled to inspect the Zambian gemstone and mineral artisans and craftsman stands after the official opening of the conference.

Dr. Hamukale said stated that the Head of State will later fly back to Lusaka later after completion of business in the afternoon.

The International conference has attracted a number of local and international stakeholders in the mining sector.

  1. I wonder what Lungu’s ministers do apart from escorting him to the airport . This Livingstone trip is supposed to be a ministers assignment

    • But zoona bala tu pesha aba kaamba.Is this a seminar that a president who has been away for a whole week attend or is it open?Even the delegation of ministers following him to the airport is thinning,the ministers are now tired of loitering….so sad

  2. Ba lungu,but nangu tapasoswa.You should have deligated this task to one of your ministers.You are just too senior to attend this function and moreover you just returned from china.Is state houses haunted or you just enjoy travelling?

  3. You people if he was going out of Zambia you were going to say he is just from Chine. To work within Zambia again you will are complaing. At state house when he doing anything you complain; If he drinks beer you complain. What do you want him to do? If he falls on women’s day you call him Chagwa agwa!!!!!!!!!!!! Please he going to L/stone to work that is good and lets something for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
