She told ZANIS that the opportunity to have a national dialogue should be taken serious by all the parties involved.

“We are key to ensuring that we have a smooth dialogue process. And my Ministry takes the opportunity to have a national dialogue seriously and we are working hard in laying a strong foundation. Zambia is an oasis of peace and that should be taken for granted,” she

  1. This is very rich and frankly hypocritical lady. You telling us that even though you have mandated the church to organize and oversee a national prayer event which all including UPND should attend, the same church however does not have the capacity to conduct the national dialogue process? Not my words, that’s what your humble boss would have us believe. In any case why the focus on UPND? You brutalize them and deny them all manner of decent treatment after which you invite them to ‘come and pray with us’. What a deceitful mob you all are!!! If someone wants to know the definition of a sadist you have a classic example in this minister and her PF! But remember God is watching you!
And Hey, how about asking the ZCID to organize these prayers,,,,, maybe the the UPND change their minds and…

    • I am a Christian, but this “day of prayer and fasting” is a mockery. It’s based on superstition rather than on God’s word. These people should read what the book of Isaiah 51: 1 – 12
It’s to mock God when you live wickedly and corruptly and then you go to him “pray and fast”. NO. Do justice, show mercy….otherwise your hypocrisy will bring a curse, rather than a blessing on you. Mark my words.

    • I am a staunch Christian but this one ministry should be disbanded please. Salvation ni we miwine. What value has Religious ministry of brought to this country surely. Total waste of resources and time

    • These Babylonians never stop to amaze me, all you want is Daniel to come bow down to your earthly god? is this player and feasting day or ticket to heaven?

    • I have owez questioned the importance of this ministry in zambia, what is there daily work, like routine? coming to 18th October, it is not necessary, why should one go to a prayer gathering jst to notice those that have not attended? useless ministry and useless day!! am not upnd, and i canot wait for 18th October to reconcile with my work mates!! the sooner we do away with these unproductive ministers the better!!

  2. join you in your fake prayers! Please don’t get me started I beg O. What a country! Full of fake ministers of religion, pastors , prophets and christians and yet, look at the fruits! Over here we have an ‘unfortunate’ state of affairs where church buildings are closing down and put on the market because congregants are shrinking by the day. I can safely guesstimate that only 1 out of 70 Canadians go to church on sundays, whereas over there 1 out of 3 Zambians go to church but the the level of civility and frankly compassion people here have for one another Cannot be compared to how Zambians treat each other! Come election time, whole streets and neighbourhoods are covered with campaign posters of all manner of candidates. Nobody tears down an opponents poster, nobody fights!! And they…

    • The s a me thing in rtf he uk. Very few people attend any church but people here are generally trustworthy, politicians are way more compassionate. Even service providers feel like they are Christians, more honest. Now in our Zambia, it’s chaos, people cannot even give way on roads. During rash hour, police has to be involved otherwise no car moves, serious stand still traffic jams in parts of city centre. Companies in Zambia like Zamtel can keep billing clients when it knows their internet is not working. The will lie and lie never really bothered to make an honest income.

No one gets beaten during elections here. But in Zambia people sometimes get killed, injuries are common. The problem is that they think peace, unity and prosperity is achieved miraculous through prayers where God…

  3. Iwe Sumaili, with rampant record levels of Corruption, do you ever advise your P.F peers, that stealing is bad & ungodly??
MOST USELESS MINISTRY ON THE WHOLE CONTINENT OF AFRICA.
You know Sumaili, you are “just in Government to eat”, nothing else.

    • Hope you will be sitting next to your best friend, Nigerian thin necked Pastor, who was busted with a bag full of Narcotics @ K.K, International Airport.
Since you are all God’s children you can share ideas on how to make a quick buck, @ your Fake National Prayers, where your all worship a human Jona Pombe.

  4. don’t even have a national day of prayer and reconciliation by the way. So maybe it’s not unfortunate that their churches are closing down after all. I think we need this in Zambia. Start by revoking the Christian nation status until further notice. Churches closing then start from the grassroots; teaching people how to really love their fellow man, having compassion, spirit of volunteerism, hard work and honesty. Then and only then should they be graduated to the Christian nation status

  5. I will not attend because I dont believe this day of prayer….. The Bible says six days thou shall labour and the seventh day tho shall WORSHIP GOD…. Any day other than the seventhday is ceremonial therefore no man is bound by it….
What is written is in the Bible is for man and man need not to add or subtract from it. No one should be judged from what is not written in the Bible…… So this day of national day of prayer is unbiblical and unholy and has no blessing from GOD.
To put it into perspective, are Zambians more holy than the children of Israel under Moses? Can Sumaili deduce judgement against non attendants to this day and less holy…….. above all what is her view of charging someone with treason? Is the victim of treason evil when he does not attend ? the sentence of…

  6. above all what is her view of charging someone with treason? Is the victim of treason evil when he does not attend ? the sentence of treason is death. The Bible is clear in that he who wishes others death is an agent of the devil…… Jesus never wishes us dead but the d.evil does……..

  7. So if UPND attends the it becomes legitimate or what? This to me seems to be a political stunt than a call to true prayers. Play your politics and eat whilst you still can Sumaili and your PF. The masses are wallowing in poverty due to your mismanagement of the economy and you want people to join you to do what? Do not mock God, we all but have sinned and fall short before his glory. These so called day of national prayers should be banned forthwith. People pray every Sunday and one wonders what the essence of these gatherings is, someone must be reaping from them surely.

  8. Godfridah Sumaili, why do you want to make yourself relevant when the opposite is what is on the ground? If I were you, I would just shut up and organise the event without making noise! Perhaps let me ask you: How many souls have you saved since you started this funny event? Your ministry is one that needs to be disbanded and money taken to buying medicines in hospitals. Why force people who are not interested in your silly, mischievous money plundering govt ministry. Just close shop and go home. No one is going to miss you and your ministry.

  9. Please this is not how to run a country, President Lungu you created this dissolve it, You are tramping on people’s toes.

  10. Is this a Christian Nation??? Remember the tear gas you used on HH. It reminds me of the days of HITLER and today we have one in the name of KANGANJA.
I am UPND and i support HH

  11. Sumaili, what a hypocrite you are. Prayer for what? Where is your voice to condemn the wrongs against opposition? If you were a true christian your voice should be heard like the voice of John the baptist crying out in the wilderness at the unfair treatment. Your voice should be the loudest crying out for the poor in Zambia and all the rotten corruption. Just keep earning your cadre money that you get paid for being a cadre. Shameless fake prophet.

  12. QST TO REV. SUMAILI,
IS PF OR UPND A CHURCH OR A DENOMINATION THAT YOU SHOULD GET WORRIED IF THEY DID NOT ATTEND YOU SO CALLED FAKE NATIONAL PRAYER?
WHY ASK A PART TO ATTEND INSTEAD OF A CHURCH TO ATTEND? IT WAS GOING TO WORRY YOU IF YOU INVITED CHURCHES OR DENOMINATIONS LIKE CATHOLIC, JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, SDA, ASSEMBLY OF GOD ETC TO ATTEND BUT SHUNS YOUR INVITATION LIKE THE WAY DANIEL, SHADRECK, MISHECK AND ABEDNIGO ETC IF SO HAPPENS THEN YOU WILL CRY SAYING WHY HAS THE CHURCH SHUNNING OUR EVENTS?
