FIFA president Gianni Infantino has congratulated Zesco United for winning the 2018 FAZ Super Division title.

Zesco retained the FAZ Super Division crown with two games to spare and also collected their seventh league title.

“The title is the result of the determination of everyone involved and congratulations go to the coach, the coach, the administration, the entire technical and medical staff, as well as the fans, for this great achievement,” Infantino said in his message to Zesco conveyed through the Football Association of Zambia.

“On behalf of the entire football community, I would like to thank Zesco United FC and your association for helping spread the positive message of football.”

Zesco have won all their league titles since they returned to the FAZ Super Division in 2004.

    • I mean will Gianni do the same when Mbabane Swallows lift the title in Eswatini or may be in our case FAZ is just fooling the public? …

    • But you have time comment? Probably someone should tell you that he is the president of football (FIFA)…Unless it was coming from Trump then that would shake your head…

  1. “If HH were Coach for Zambia, this President could have congratulated us 10x, including the time he was not president,” Larry Mweetwa.

  2. The Fifa president is always interested in the club championships of the members all over the world. That is his job

  3. THis is NOT INFANTINY SPEAKING , HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW ZAMBIA LEAGUE, SOMEONE AT FAZ WROTE THIS TO DIVERT US FROM THE SOCIAL CASH TRANSFER AS WELL AS 2016 PRESIDNENTIAL PETITION

  4. What is the meaning of the last sentence?…”ZESCO have won all their league titles since they returned to the FAZ Super Division in 2004″. Yet the same author has indicated this is their 7th title. Surely from 2004 to date *2018) is 14 years. Please read and re-read your articles before posting.
