  1. since when do public lectures pose a security threat?
constructive criticism is beneficial to everyone.
there is now not freedom of speech in Zambia.
    quite shameful—-

  2. Dollar would say PF is a flip flop govt.

PF is on the wrong side of history . 90% of pf followers never knew this man till he was deported

If this man was president he would never appoint most of low caliber law makers.

Have you ever heard upend mps protest where mp s get salary hike. NO

You only hear them crying fowl when pf is eating alone.

Never be cheated. Upendi are wolves in waiting.

Hh is more stubborn than ecl

Imagine the chap was in mukobeko. Ba GBM couldn’t even act for a second as upendi president.

    • Why should PF people know Lumumba if I may ask.
Do you know that almost 50% of America don’t even know if there is a Country called Zambia. If Trump can only know about Nambia! kikikikiki!

  3. Ceremonial Veep please keep quiet, you are another woman who I had the utmost respect for until you made the bad decision of supporting Lungu to the Presidency. I actually do not know what your role as Veep is, because you provide no checks on the President, Madam Wina please remember you are the only person Lungu cant fire so please stand up and speak up for the poor. You will also not be selected again my Lungu as a running mate in 2021 so you have nothing to loose. Madam Wina we beg you please fight for us.

    • Your understanding of someone having a role is to be radicle and criticise everything even the good things. Please note that a VEEP is not an opposition party like UPND. The Veep works with the heard of state to run the country and not to sit behid the desk and wait for an opportunity to criticise like most of us in the diaspora are doing without true sense of direction or responsibility.

  4. She doesn’t know what security reasons either, this grand mother is too old to know what’s going on around her, she needs to leave and go and work the land somewhere, she is a magogo probably cant even remember what she said yesterday. No wonder Jonathan picked her as his deputy he knew he can walk all over her.

    • Okay that is a bit harsh, she is a woman we should be proud of the only problem is we do not see what she does apart from moving around attending ceremonies.

  5. The day this administration begins to admit mistakes and stop playing semantics and silly lies is the day some semblance of respectability will begin to be accorded to them. Madam Wina and her administration should stop treating Zambians like embiciles and insulting our intelligence.

  6. Just what was the point of this article?? Ba LT, could you please inform us on relevant discussions in parliament than a one off liner..

  7. Thank your our VP for educating some Mps from the opposition who were not aware of the difference between deporting and denied entry……Very imbalancing for people addressed as Honable.

    • @Zambian FK…….

Go back to school and re-learn your grammar and spellings. You are and embarrassment to common man.
Naka trousers namutaking’a kwati muli batu sana..

    • AMUSIFU, speaking or writing good English is not a sign of intelligence, if it was then the whole of China, Germany, France, Belgium, Russia and so many other countries are all dull. You have a colonial mentality its sad.

  8. In future inform people in advance rather than wasting their money and time. Govt was supposed to tell organisers that Lumumba was not welcome.

  9. Professor Lumumba should count himself lucky he was denied entry into the country. Imagine had he come and presented his radical lecture about “Zambia being sold to China”, and then the riots at UNZA follow with a loss of life. He was going to be associated with having blood on his hands over this state of affairs.

  10. All PF has done by denying this man entry is to make him more popular. Now everyone is going on line trying to research about this man and even reading his articles and listening to his speeches which they normally wouldn’t have if he had just come given his lecture and gone. This man should actually thank the PF government for all the free publicity.

  11. Bamayo ba Wins. Sure a mother like you supporting something like that? We should be running to you as a mother to advise those boys. And if they don’t heed to your concerns you better resign. Abantu bachula kubufi.

  12. Shameful, it is the perogative of every country to allow or deny entry to any individual or individuals. But pray do tell Madam VP why make blanket statements that don’t hold much water. He came back home and he will go where he is welcome. But when will we will leadership learn criticism is important for growth. Constructive or otherwise. I feel for all our AFRICAN nations
