Lumwana Radiants players are upbeat ahead of their judgement day match against demoted Nchanga Rangers on the final day of the 2018 FAZ Super Division season.

Seventeenth placed Lumwana are in the drop zone as they occupy the final demotion slot on 38 points.

Lumwana keeper Charles Mweemba knows the significance of the final match against Nchanga set for Chingola on November 17.

“As players we know that it is the very most important game we are playing this season. We will fight tooth and nail. As soldiers we will fight until the final whistle,” Mweemba said.

“We know it is going to be tough but we are very much ready for the game. Our morale is high as we prepare for the match,” the ex-Nkana keeper said.

Above Lumwana are 16th placed National Assembly on 39 points and Nakambala Leopards on 40 points.

“It’s been a tough season for us as players and Lumwana as a team but we are sure of surviving,” Mweemba said.

Lumwana have so far posted eight wins, 14 draws and 15 defeats.
