National Democratic Congress Consultant and 2021 Presidential candidate Chishimba Kambwili has asked for forgiveness from President Edgar Lungu if he has wronged him in any way.

Dr. Kambwili, a critic of President Edgar Lungu and his government who he has accused of being corrupt has also apologised to other Zambians who he may have wronged.

The Roan PF Member of Parliament has further apologised to Mpulungu PF Member of Parliament and Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe for calling him a witchdoctor in parliament.

He said what happened in the house of representatives was merely a light moment.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Kambwili said he will not take any action against Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe for attempting to punch him at Parliament on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Authorities at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka have blocked Dr. Kambwili from donating to the institution.

Dr. Kambwili had initially taken gifts to patients at the Cancer Diseases Hospital this morning as a way of marking the National Day of Prayer.

But management at the institution through a senior official Dr. Louise Banda could not allow Dr. Kambwili to go ahead and extend his gesture of goodwill.

Dr. Kambwili, whose party shunned the prayers said he was informed that higher authorities had refused to sanction his visit to the hospital where he initially wanted to spend time and pray with patients at the cancer hospital.

He said there is no genuine repentance and reconciliation in the country and wondered why Government could not allow him to undertake humanitarian activities on an important day like this one.

Dr. Kambwili added that the current crop of PF leaders are not genuine when they talk about reconciliation.

    • @ Ndobo, my friend I apologise to you and all of you.
      But NOT:
      – Kaizer
      – Kapyongo
      – Kabimba
      – Ka Pastor Bushiri
      – Sunday Chanda.
Ba fikkalha need apologize to Zambians first.

    • Something fishy is happening with this Limbwili. Either he has been threatened or promised something by Lungu Wu and PF. It explains this long silence. What this space. This man is a coward

    • Ala fishinka nshakwata spine ine iyoo. Limbi nganalikweteko umungololo nga eefilyako. That’s why I even lost fights with Lusambo and Sikaswe. Insala ine ba Lungu yalangipaya., njeleleniko napapata bosses

    • That is the power of a “Witch Doctor”, – the first night visit was a warning but the second one was a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE.
Kambwili was left with no option but to apologize because he was told that after the third visit he will wake up date.

    • Miles Sampa, Mulenga Sata, Chishimba Kambwili. …. all coming back to humble themselves before Lungu.

They tasted HH’s Party and it went so sour.

The next will be GBM. .. Godfrey Bwalya Mumba to swallow his vomit.

    • Fishinka sana nshakwata spine ine iyo. Ngankwatako umungololo nga eefilyako. Namaka nshakwata, that I even lost fights with Lusambo and Sikazwe in Parliament. Napapata bosses ba Lungu njeleleniko pansele shonse namituka….nalaafwa kunsala bosses. Amos Mwaiche forgive me naiwe.
Zambians naimwe, don’t take me seriously, I just talk talk. Ni politics chabe

    • I see Bonehead Mushota has surfaced!!! As for Kambwili, he’s now spooked because of the visitor he had the other night. I agree, no spine!!!

    • We all know what’s coming next….this is what hunger can do….Kambwili is a thief and he cant survive outside Politics…remember he is still in PF…..the writing is on the wall….soon he will be appointed as a Minister

    • But ba LT apa mulibe chabe story. You have just invented BIG HEADLINES on nothing. No wonder there is completely no meat on your skeleton of a story

    • Don’t be surprised if this coward Chimbwili thing has been offered an ambassadorial appointment especially to the UK I where it loves drinking tea and eating biscuits.

    • I can’t help but feel pity for Mwenya Musenge and his NDC.

It is clear that his “consultant” is headed back to the PF fold, and the NDC will remain looking foolish after blindly embracing the Consultant’s anti-PF stance.

What you forgot, Mr. Musenge, was that all the time your “consultant” was still a member of the PF and Roan constituency law-maker.

    • I agree with Mushota this time. This will not end well. People will be disappearing in Zambian embassies around the world after PF is out of power! Fusekeni!

    • You need to repent and come to God and stop witch hunting like the little boy CHILDISH. When you speak the truth, next time don’t say you were under evil spirits.

    • @ Ndobo.. Was the apology not the whole essence of the national day of prayer? Just wandering what the whole national day of prayer was about.. Even UTH management need to reflect on thier poor conduct. If Kambwili had presents to give then just let him give as some patients desperately need assistance.

  1. Losing two fights in parliament, plus poverty yamunyokola what do you expect from him? of course ka apology, and very soon he is going to be on campaign team for Lungu in next election. ama politics tefintu.

  2. If one cannot be allowed to donate to the suffering patients in Hospital on a reconciliation day, when will these patients enjoy the freedom of receiving gifts from well wishers?

  3. What poverty are y’all talking about? It was eradicated yesterday with prayers! Looks like Kambwili did not get the memo. His prayers have not been answered.

  4. Same mouth asking for forgiveness and attacking the very people he wants to forgive him. Guys just play back those videos of Mr Hoe and see what he has been talking about against PF and its leaders. Has PF leadership changed over night to say I am sorry you are not corrupt after all.
Mr Hoe has no morals. Why cant he stand for what he has always said. The damage has already been done and we can all see how corrupt PF is. He has also told us how corrupt PF is and we have also seen it all for ourselves. Nothing has changed and we are living to the fact that PF is rotten to the core with corruption and crookery.
    This man is a disaster!!!!!!

    • If I do not ask for forgiveness from all the people that I have wronged, if I have wronged you President Edgar Lungu, forgive me, if I have wronged you president HH forgive me, if I have wronged you president Mulongoti forgive me,” he said.
“That is genuine repentance but these people want to repent, pretend they are repenting when the mansions they have built are still theirs, the money they are stealing are still in their accounts, so where is the repentance?” Kambwili said.
And Kambwili said a thief would always be a thief.
“If President Lungu has been stealing like he has been stealing, I don’t withdraw those sentiments and I have no apologies to make, he should repent. I mean, if I have hurt him in anyway where he has not done anything wrong, like I have accused him of something…

  5. Kambwili save us your hypocrisy please! Those are just words which you do not even mean.Today, just today you will go back to your usual ways of getting on the nerves of your opponents. And as for UTH what kind of a health institution are you? Someone is offering some humanitarian gesture and you send him away? Anyway all this is the work of PF.They do not want anyone to do good to the citizens of this country yet themselves Mwanawasa and Rupiah Banda could allow them to do anything except breaking the law.

  6. Kambwili ni plan yakubwelela ku PF now. Welcome back home brother. Hunger is dangerous. U can’t bite the finger that feeds u.

  7. If some people are going to think ck is hungry as his reason to apologise to of then brothers and sisters, we are short sighted. These are politicians and I suspect the apology is a political gymnastic. A hungry person has nothing even to donate to an institution as big as a UTH.

  8. Wonder shall never end with CK !!! He stood to demonize the national day of prayers.Prime TV aired his assertion which later floated on NDC Facebook page.

Today is we hear that CK is venerated the day of prayers and making several requests of forgiveness for people he truly believed that he wronged them.

His razor-tongue mouth and verbal diarrhea are genetic predisposition for CK. He speaks before arranging his ideas of thought. Tomorrow we shall witness his BAD MOUTHING.grow up man.

  9. These wanna be leaders should think and not act on their tuma emotions that keep fluctuating like a pregnant woman. No wonder they cannot stick to anything for a long time. I would rather even respect those who have stuck in the opposition despite the challenges they face. Aba abena Kambwili, Sampa and Mulenga Sata fiwelewele fye without any principles!

  10. He has done well to apologize..For the donations at UTH cancer patients he did what was right before God and people.Am so sure one could have been praying for God to intervene in his or her affairs financially. If God was able to feedElijah through Ravens he can still raise some to help a needy person. Now am so sure others in PF they have sensed danger or insecurity of the coming back of Chishimba in PF and the only way was to block him with his gifts.some senior officials commanded some tuma junior officers to block him.
Just watch and see ….these are politicians. They know each other very well…Good day Zambians.

  11. Is this the calibre of politician Zambia deserves?? I don’t think so. This is the low, God save us from such mediocrity.

  12. the problem with this story is it is selective and not wholly stated. he said if there is anything wrong he has done. but he said he will not apologize for calling them thieves because they are truly thieve

  13. Sometimes I feel like the human race is a disgrace. People forget your wrongs as long as you become an enemy of their enemy. Kambwili abused ZNBC to advertise his obtaining some degree from Connerstone University. And none even remembers this and yet at that time it became a hot issue. Even the American president can’t be trusted if you look at the way he’s dithering on the murder of Jamal Kasshoggi by the Saudi government.

  14. candidate Chishimba Kambwili has asked for forgiveness from President Edgar Lungu if he has wronged him in any way,
Meaning he’s still doubting and haven’t yet known whether he’s wrong or right. In Life, when seeking for forgiveness we don’t use “If” as it still gives negativities. As we have been hearing about his Carelessness speeches, to people above and low levels but still doubting. When a person says sorry, it must be a graduating thing, not sorry for the same errors every now and then.It discourages.

  15. Comedy? Take it to Spaka and Jay Gay, maybe it will induce them to smile for a change. Tr.ibal Hacks forget, he has a plastic skin can’t never smile.

    • how can I smile while 80% of my people are unemployed and wallowing in abject poverty while lungu sees fit to buy a luxury presidential jet ? this is at a time Zambia can not afford to live without donner aid, and you expect a smile from me ?

  16. CK is apologising for any wrongdoing on a day of “prayer, fasting and reconciliation”, however, he is quick to point out, gifts for the vulnerable were rejected, albeit for political reasons. Why would you refuse gifts for the sick, irrespective of where they come from based on politics? It shows the political bias even in the civil service! CK is being very clever here, he is NOT seeking to go back to PF, he is seeking forgiveness for any perceived wrongdoing, he is not saying they are NOT thieves. Well done CK, let the folly continue to dununa, while our eyes are watching God.

  17. Ba kambwili that is a great move u have shown Zambians learn to forgive one another and I believe this will market u in the world of politics in Zambia u are a great leader kambwili and u qualify to run this country

  18. For those of you who did not hear Kambwili ‘s speech he said he I would like to President Edgar Lungu and President Hachaiende Hichilema for all the wrongs have committed against them he continued and also aplogised to Freedom Sikazwe and anyother person he has wronged but he still maintained that president Lungu is a thief because he has evidence of his theft if you want credible news watch Prime TV not ZNBC or Daily Mail Newspaper these guys have twisted this story

  19. The speech is on Prime TV not this propaganda these guys are feeding you CK still maintains that Lungu is a thief moreover ECL is not the only person CK apologised because he apologised to HH Freedom Sikazwe and anyone else he might have hurt

  20. Why apologise to a man who does not care about the Zambian people ECL and friends should apologise to the Zambian people for putting us in this mess.

  21. Comment:having watched kambwilis clip on prime TV ,any serious person can conclude that the man can never be taken seriously .pliz spare us we have other issues worthy attending to.

  22. NATIONAL Democratic Congress consultant Chishimba Kambwili has asked President Edgar Lungu to forgive him for whatever wrong he has done.

Kambwili has however maintained that President Lungu is a corrupt thief, who should repent.

Addressing the media at his house in Lusaka yesterday, Kambwili further asked for forgiveness from presidential affairs minister Freedom Sikazwe over what he termed as an innocent light joke in Parliament, which led to a brawl.

“Let me be the first one to say to you my brother President Edgar Lungu, if I have wronged you in any way, today is the national day of prayers and reconciliation, I ask for your forgiveness. And I want also to ask all those that I have wronged in one way or the other that let this day reflect as a genuine day of reconciliation…

  23. You can see that his repentance and reconciliation is not genuine.”
He said his party decided that they will not go to the arena of the prayers where “these corrupt people are pretending to be Christ-like”.
Kambwili said Zacchaeus in the bible pledged to return all he obtained from people after he repented before Jesus.
I mean, if I have hurt him in…

  24. If you wrong someone and want to say sorry, first you must admit within yourself that you were at faulty. Secondly you ought to know what was right for you to have done. Thirdly, you must hope you shall never repeat whatever wrong you think you deed to the other. The refusal by the UTH authorities to allow you is democratic just as is when you turned down the invitation to assemble and pray with others.

  25. There is nothing wrong with Kambwili apologising. “He a Christian”, practicing the word. The bible says,” Before you give an offering at the Altar, go first reconcile with your brother”. Thus the apology. Now if such a brother is say a perpetual sinner, he remains a sinner for you will have done your part. Kambwili undertook a noble cause to want to donate to patients at cancer clinic.

  26. I am disapointed that many bloggers have misunderstood the STATEMENT FROM KAMBWILI, he said this because of the NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYERS, NOW THAT ITS OVER , HE WILL UNLEASH CRITICISMS AND THE TRUTH TO HURT PF
