Here is a brief wrap of how some selected Chipolopolo players fared at their respective leagues over the weekend.

SOUTH AFRICA
Mamelodi Sundowns: Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was an unused substitute in Sundowns’ 2-0 Telkom Cup quarterfinal away loss at Baroka FC.

SuperSport United: Striker Gampani Lungu played the first 46 minutes of the Telkom Cup quarterfinal tie away to Kaizer Chiefs that SuperSport lost 1-0.

BELGIUM
Eighth placed KV Oostende won their fifth league match of the season on Friday with a 2-1 home victory over Charleroi who are just below them at number nine.
Striker Fashion Sakala came on in the 87th minute but was not on target while midfielder Emmanuel Banda was an unused substitute.

AUSTRIA
RB Salzburg: Champions Salzburg unbeaten start to the season continued on Sunday when they defeated 9th placed Mattersburg 2-1.
But striker Patson Daka and midfielder Enock Mwepu were unused substitutes in that home win.

Altach: Altach maybe unbeaten in their last five league games but they frustratingly remain second from bottom of the log.
On Sunday, Altach collected their third draw in that spell when visiting 6th placed Rapid Vienna held them 2-2.
Striker Brian Mwila was an unused substitute.

  1. BaLT first you say this is how Chipolopolo players fared at their respective leagues over the weekend. Then you go out to tell us about t so and so who were unused substitutes isn’t that a contradiction?
