  1. No comments? Am I too early? We from the CRA (Comments Readers Association) wish to urge the CWA (Comments Writers Associations) to be serious with the responsibilities conferred on them

  2. How do you expect an unemployed person to support his children? The problem is with GRZ that cant look after its citizens and has no plans of creating employment so that citizens can look after themselves!!
You cause grievous bodily harm to ex husband who is the father of your children – what do you hope to gain from that? The woman is lucky to have escaped lightly because other men would have killed her there and then.
Being jobless and there having no money does not mean prostitutes like this woman should come and injure willy nilly. That woman will have to careful through out her lifetime and hope there will be no revenge at some point.

    • ‘Fedup’ with what? Some women overreact to their situations. They always blame other people for their personal decisions and consequential problems. Women should truly be good partners in marriages and not using their bottom powers as the only asset they bring into marriages. Some of the poverty we see around is caused by illicit marriages based on selfish motives by the women who are only interested in money and good lives without any meaningful economic contributions to the household.

  3. We need more of such treatment. Zambian men are the most useless and irresponsible when it comes to child support – and they call themselves ‘men’!! Then when the child grows up and becomes successful ati ‘my son’ kanshi the man doesn’t even know what the child has been eating for the last 20 years fipuba sana

    • Has any person have a right to end someone life or to injure someone in any way? We call ourselves CHRISTIAN Nation. Is divorce not good enough? The man may be irresponsible but does deserve his toes cut out.

  4. At Janet, not every Zambian man is useless, am not l take care os my children they’re happy and they go to school happy. Women have a choice to make when accepting a man. Parents they tell you that, the man you want to marry is useless but you don’t listen. If only you can listen there will be fewer cases like this.

    • At Musonda too many cases like this being reported – but of course people always shift the blame to the woman (an old lazy way of thinking). We need to tackle issues head on – Parents should funda boys on how to live with women and to be responsible citizens. Men also have a choice on how their spray their seed around! Most do it irresponsibly. You should also Teach your fellow men to follow your example – because the many fools out there who don’t support their children has reached alarming rates – and have given Zambian men this bad reputation of not giving child support

    • There’s no way to know what kind of father the man you’re marrying will turn out to be. Ask me. My children are born from such a man. And everyday I think of what to do to him. Bloggers give some input.

  5. @Janet C(4), sorry for your experience we did not contribute but your s.t.u.p.i.d decision. And when your marriage ends you cling to the children so that the man continues feeding you in the name of supporting children. It doesn’t make sense you move on.

    • Only ignorant people like you can make such a comment. Do you even have children. If you love your kids leave them with their mother when you divorce. You’re not feeding the mother, she’s taking care of the kids while you go on partying with other women. Protect your kids. Do you know what step mothers do to kids.

  6. It is very unfair for a man to father children and then leave them up to the woman to raise them on her own. Not that I’m defending GBV but she must have had it up to the brim and her fuse was blown. She taught him a lesson he will never forget.

  7. WTF! Now the kids will suffer, the father is a dead bit and the mother is going to jail for trying to fight for her kids. She should have left the irresponsible swine.

  8. Have you wandered why statistically on average woman live relatively longer than a man, one reason is that men can’t continuously handle pressure from women, either you lose it and fight her or submit or you die. A wise man had no option but to invent beer and a secluded drinking place initially meant for men, you now call a bar. Unfortunately, the women have encroached cunningly as waiters, strippers, dancing queens, drink-mate etc.

  9. That clip of Charity Katanga’s captured expression kind of says it all even if it may not be current to this incident… not sure what to say on this one.

  10. Ba Janet c, statements of this nature belong to history. You cannot generalized like that as if you know all Zambian men. Let us avoid these loose talks they belong to history.

  11. This woman is full of sh.it. Divorce was enough and she did not need to harm the man to even lose his toes. After all after divorce there is no marriage and the support is scanty. She could even have demanded for a divorce because the man was a loafer and why follow and harm a loafer who has no money.
    Disaster!!!!

  12. After divorce the court advises both parties, anyone can get the children if you are able to look after them.So if the woman got the children then she was ready to look after them. Me I can’t blame the man, and cutting the toes is not solving the problem, because she’ll end up in jail which will be bad for the children again .

  13. Don’t blame the government it’s your luck of planning. Think twice before you post. Not all men are useless mind postings bane.

  14. Some sense fro “ex-maroon,” the courts are still there. Child care cases are easily handled by the courts of law. Don’t take the law into your own hands.

  15. Let them search for nails on those ‘toes’. It’s possible that she chopped off the big toe below her belly button together with a ball sac. Who knows…

  16. Now with toes cut off he has an even bigger excuse not to support his children. He will simply say he’s disabled.

  17. OMG I can’t believe this you guys ,you busy blaming the wife but you don’t know wat happened cause the husband doesn’t support the children……….he can’t even take care of the children by himself that’s why he wants to realize her???????????? am only pleading to the government to realize her
