Controversial Patriotic Front Member Kelvin Fube has again defied the directive by the Lusaka Province Acting Executive to appear before the party’s provincial disciplinary Committee saying they do not have powers to summon him.
The Patriotic Front Lusaka Province Acting Executive Committee yesterday gave lawyer Kelvin Bwalya Fube and controversial PF member Julius Komaki up to today May 10th to appear before the Party’s provincial disciplinary committee.
Mr. Komaki said he will not appear before the Committee today because it has no legitimate powers to summon anyone.
And Mr. Komaki has accused the interim Committee of threatening his life.
He said he has in the last few days been pursued by some people he believes are being sent by some members of the committee to threaten his life.
Mr. Komaki said Lusaka Province PF Interim Committee Chairperson Paul Moonga is not a legitimate member to summon anyone as he has been jumping from one party to the other.
He said Provincial Secretary Kennedy Kamba is also MMD and does not understand the PF Constitution.
But Lusaka Province PF Interim Chairman Paul Moonga has warned that the committee will have no option but to take disciplinary action against the duo if they do not avail themselves for hearing.
He says the PF is a democratic party and did not expel the Two but gave them an opportunity to be heard by the disciplinary committee.
Mr. Moonga was speaking to journalist at media briefing in Lusaka today.

Kelvin, just form a party and get finished naturally. How can you be so dumb to start pushing your lack when the party already has a serving president. Why can you wait until the party’s convention. These spirits of confusion, tefintu.

I like what I see … tweende Fube, tweende mwandi!!! Stretch them to the limits and let’s see if there’s democracy in PF.
And if the so called Moonga expels you, apeal directly to the President of the party asking an audience why the party would expel a rightfully standing member over his/her intention to stand for party presidency during a convention.
If that doesn’t work, get with the Registrar Of Societies to determine the constitutionality of your expulsion on flimsy ground and ask why the registrar shouldn’t be obliged to deregister PF based on their abrogations party constitution.
If that fails drag them through the mad of the legal process. Democracy needs to start within parties before its eminent on the national level. Let’s roll …

In the midist of all this happening, were is chimbwe no plan? If he and PF was democratic, why is he not speaking out against those cadres intimidating KBF for seeking to challenge him. Late President Mwanawasa challenged late President Chiluba and there was never an issue. This is why I say democracy in Zambia under PF is just on paper and month. The reality is very far from it.
