National Democratic Congress Leader Chishimba Kambwili has urged President Edgar Lungu to immediately step down as Head of State. Mr. Kambwili said that President Lungu has clearly failed to govern the country because he has run out of ideas and urged citizens to unite and remove the the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) through the ballot in 2021.
Mr . Kambwili said that he will continue speaking out for the people of Zambia despite being blocked by police adding that no amount of fear and intimidation will stop him from speaking out for Zambians.
The NDC leader said that he was worried that the police service under the instructions of the PF Government has continued denying opposition political leaders permits and has since warned the police command who are working with the PF that their days are numbered.
The NDC leader said this in an interview with journalists in Chipata yesterday.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kambwili has said that he has been vindicated over his stance on Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) and that it has always been the aspiration that KCM packs and goes.
Mr. Kambwili accused PF leaders of eating with KCM that has failed miners on the copper belt, noting that Zambia is broke as could be seen from the failure of government to pay civil service their salaries.
Lungu is the worst crook this country has ever seen as a leader, and God willing , will be the last of his kind.
Ati humble leader……the man is a serpent with a bible. He watches on as opposition are hacked and denied democratic space.
That order to his pf thugs by lungu to cease fire during roan elections was only because commonwealth lawyers had gathered in Livingstone.
A call to his thugs to cease fire lead them to lose roan. Lungu can not win without violence and intimidation.

Am just worried that even buffoons can call for the president to step down. People with no substance who cant become presidents of zambia can even gather such confidence to point of challenging one ECL. We’re in trouble maningi. Now i believe that Zambia does not have crooked politicians but dull ones only. And kambwili is definitely one of them. If at all lungu is doing wrong things (for which i belive some are) then ck is the main causer. Ck campaigned for lungu more than anyone else on the copperbelt and its him who made him win. now just 2 years after he wants me to help me clean up his mess and cause another mess. Hello Yes we are all frustrated at what’s going on.
The only guarantee of a responsible Head of State is our collective drive and persuasion to CHANGE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE. Under which the current Rule of Man, the monarch type, will be constitutionally abolished.
Can we dedicate this period, 2019 to 2021 as a preparatory phase for a RADICAL TRANSFORMATION, we need to move and thus CALL ZAMBIA TO ORDER as a matter of priority and extreme urgency.
Kambwili created this so called humble monster called lungu. He should first start by apologising to the Zambian people. Why should any Zambian heed his calls ? We need a system of governance which allows citizens to hold the ruling party accountable and a constitution which allows for mid term reviews by the citizens.
What vindication on the kcm matter when it was HH who fought for this and called the pf out? Lungus reaction is just a knee jerk reaction based on fears that hh is now connecting with the copperbelt. Lungu gas called for those companies to leave but has failed to tell us how he will implement his stance and what measures he has in place to reduce the shock effects should these companies decide to leave. Lungu is a chimbwi no plan. These are the guys who used to sit ndwiiiii in class

We doubt if Kambwili passed Arithmetic in his Grade 7 Exams. This is a species of politician who has teamed up with HH to ceaselessly attack President Lungu. Yet HH has lost Bembas who voted for him in the last Presidential elections because they have followed GBM to rejoin the PF. Which voters is Kambwili relying on to defeat President Lungu in 2021? UPND has made it clear that the Bembas cannot be accepted in UPND. Besides, the dynamics of the National Dialogue Forum have exposed a crack within the ranks of UPND – particularly the among UPND MPs. No sane politician can ignore the fact that each of the UPND MPs has substantial number of supporters to sail away with in the event that HH opts to punish his MPs who attended the NDF.
