NDC President Chishimba Kambwili has called for a life style audit for senior Government officials.
And Dr. Kambwili has urged investigative wings to probe Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo for corruption.
Dr. Kambwili says the wealth that Mr. Lusambo has acquired is not commensurate with his income.
Dr. Kambwili has accused Mr. Lusambo of extorting money from investors using the name of President Edgar Lungu.
He said it is sad that thieves and the corrupt are being “celebrated”, in Zambia.
He wondered why most senior Government officials are scared of life style audits.
Dr. Kambwili said this in an interview with journalists in Lusaka today.
He was responding to a question from the media who wanted to get his position on donations that the Lusaka Province Minister has been making lately to churches and fire victims.
The NDC leader has urged Zambians to unite and kick out the pf Government out of office in 2021.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kambwili has accused Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya of corruption.
He added that Zambians know how the Health Minister is benefiting from the sale of drugs meant for public institutions.
He said, Dr. Chilufya and Lusambo will be jailed for corruption once the NDC gets into office.
And Dr. Kambwili has urged Government to consider reopening the Copperbelt University CBU in Kitwe.
He has further condemned Governments decision to expell union leaders at the second highest institution of learning.
The NDC leader has restated that the opposition UPND and the NDC will call for public protests if CBU is not reopened in the next two weeks.

Lazy Lungu says his govt has initiated discussions with the DRC on structured export of about 600,000 metric tonnes of mealie-meal….surely does this man use his head, this is clearly a lazy individual who has never run a farm or business before I mean where is he going to get this maize from when his govt is distributing relief maize.

If he is wise,it’s not too late to use ZNS,Prisons and some capable farmers ( on tender) to produce an irrigated crop for export to meet the export demands from neighbors,but NO,that looks like a long route for his desired quick buck!!

All of a sudden Mr. Chishimba Kambwili, has become a “saint” it is amazing the short memories we have. The guy who used fraudelent companies to amass wealth is a shameles “star.” when his court cases begins he starts to fake fainting. When he was a cabinet minister in the PF he did not see the lavish life style he led. He “could annonce fly to drinking tea in London and fly back for dinner in Zambia. All the properties he owns cannot be built out of Cabinet ministers Salary. It can only be by crooked/theft ways.

This is what happens when you let thieves roam the streets. They begin to think and convince themselves that they are innocent. Kabwili is a gold mine on how corruption evolved in PF and the fact that he can articulate in detail how the stealing is done should be enough ammunition for prosecutors to probe this man. In any other decent country, this man would have been serving a prison sentence rather than seeking a position at the highest office.

There is need to tax those individuals that make donations to the General public, political parties, non governmental organisation(charities) and business organisations, so that the government should enough money. Consider new laws on taxation to fund government expenditures.
