The costs of all these people going to airport and flying out is waste of resources.

  2. Finance Minister Bwalya Ng’andu should be in the office tackling the economic mess his boss has caused. Let dunderheads like Lusambo and ka Kampyongo handle the ‘seeing off the president’.

  3. If no official went to the airport to see off the President would he stop being President if just protocol officials saw off the President will the Presidency lose meaning wat is it about Africa and huge queues to see of the President

  4. Grown men leaving their wives at home to go and line up at the Airport tarmac…what kind of work is this?…Bandit President always wasting money and yet Lusaka is full of filth and dirty everywhere

  5. Austerity measurement and cutting his salaries is the wast of time, that money you are misusing was suppose to pay retires who are being soaked by rains.i can only use my mouth to advising the government, because the other parts of my body they have got other role they play.

  6. Easy people, easy, we have an obligation to support our neighbours and partners in SADC. Just ask them to stay away longer, maybe another three weeks? And then on to Ethiopia for another two perhaps? Never mind the allowances, what matters is staying away.

Dont worry, we will take care of triple HH. He is NO option for Zambia, power envy, just another side of the same coin.

  7. Lungu was sworn in twice in office too.
Bwalya Ngandu can make a good president. He should man up and challenge Ba Edgar at the PF convention this year.

  8. Lungu only comes to Zambia for vacation bcuz he lives and works in the challenger aircraft and foreign capitals.

  9. To all those minions laughing that I worked at chelstone clinic in the past. Well is it not a job ? I was also a cleaner at some point. But guess what? I am now doing better than you due to my hard work. So who is the joke on now? Every job is important in society. I give hope to all poor people. Kz. By the way the president is looking good as usual

  10. @Nostra.. – Bwalya Ngandu was a Deputy Governor at BOZ last year just because he is the only decent individual out of the heap of rubbish in the cabinet doesn’t make him the ideal President, they would tear him to pieces if he challenged the dull man plus what makes you think he is even a PF member.

  11. The new Minister should have been the one shouting from the roof top saying that Jon@’s foreign trips are a drain on our economy which has been kept floating by borrowed because reckless spending and gross incompetence .

  12. The new Minister should have been the one shouting from the roof top saying that Jon@’s foreign trips are a drain on our economy which has been kept floating by borrowed money becauseof reckless spending and gross incompetence and stealing . Much of our money has ended up on some mansion building site in Swaziland or Lusaka.

  13. Give Lungu any excuse, and I mean any excuse, however trivial, and he is off abroad wasting tax payers money. Every trip he makes abroad brings government to shutdown just to facilitate his exit.

Remember this is the man charged with implementing austerity measures. He has even ordered 20% pay cuts for “high earners”. In the meantime, he is raking in allowances and furthering his other dark acquisition of wealth.

It would not be far from the truth to state the Lungu and brains are sworn enemies.

  14. Ok. Can someone please tell me why Deputy Secretary to Cabinet Mvunga has to be at the airport as well. When do these guys work?

Countries that are advanced are in a hurry to develop further, while pa Zed there is no urgency. Sad.

  15. @KZ, where is the austerity of your good looking president in carrying so many officials. All is needs is the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

  16. KZ, answer the above question regarding your good looking president. Ama officials bafulisha, what are they all going to do in Maputo?

  17. What a useless man he thinks he has done his job by reducing his imaginary salary yet he is accruing travel allowances. Please just kick this chap out we can’t have 5 more years of this mediocrity.
