  1. A product of university of Zambia which many young people take for granted these days or shun. It’s quite satisfying to note that under pf we have seen more women in top roles both private and public sector. Even our VP is a woman. A party that puts women to the forefront. I learned a lot from my beautiful wife mrs Zulu, that is why I have a lot of respect for her. One of the most intelligent women I have ever come across.

  2. Cogratulations mama!! The sky is limitless, but mufakepo naka skulu, the young ones with PhDs are coming behind you, watch your back.

  3. While I appreciate the need for her to upgrade her education we need to appreciate one thing. Most times the level of exposure and experience which people like her have attained by far outweighs a PhD from Africa University or LITEBM or cavandish or even some PhD from UNZA. My cousin is a pre-school teacher and he has a PhD from Atrlantic University. I know another environmental technician with a PhD from CRESO nar Muvi TV. It is the capacity to deliver on the given targets and doing it at world class level. In her time they were not obssessed with meaningless degrees. Don’t get me wrong I love education and I have passed through the mill to get some titles behind my name. Congrats mama.

  4. Educate me. I am a villager from Chipata. Is this the same trade center that was hamered by Osama bin Ladin and the the al-Qaeda?

  5. It is not a Phd that works.I concur with Ulubunda,a person with a diploma can do a better job than someone with a degree. I have seen people coming out of our universities with degree, who fail to perform and they literally depend on juniors with diplomas to do their work. A paper coupled with experience make a difference. This obsession of degrees has killed a lot of potential of most graduates. Certain industries cannot employ one with a diploma despite the hands on training that person was subjected to. For instance, ZICA, has introduced a Diploma in Accountancy. When one looks at the contents and depth of knowledge this diploma programme,it even surpasses some of degrees that are obtained. Human Resource Practioners should not only be obsessed with degrees. They should make wide…

  6. Her CV is not complete. For her to work at such a level, she must have a healthy professional status. I do not trust Lusaka Times, when it comes to reporting about people’s qualifications. The best is to google her.

  7. LT why you let my comments go down to #10?
You have to put back the function of commenting under somebody’s comment.

  8. If I were the president of Zambia, I would poach her to serve as my minister of commerce ASAP. There is a global talent war and Africans in such priviledged positions in the west just waste away, real impact with her vast experience can be made at home especially considering that we are now part of the free trade area agreement, such talents with vast experience in the field can help us build comparative advantage.
