Defending champions Red Arrows will face Mufulira Hunters at home in Lusaka when the 2020 National Rugby League starts on March 14.

Arrows last year edged Mufulira Leopards in the main trophy final to win the league.

This was the Air Men’s seventh consecutive National League title.

According to the fixture released by the Zambia Rugby League, last season’s runners up Mufulira Leopards will start the campaign with a home match against Nkwazi.

Elsewhere on day-one, former champions Diggers will visit Kabwe to tackle Green Eagles and Lusaka will travel to Kitwe to battle KPF.

Meanwhile, the first competitive rugby tournament in 2020 is the Nchanga 10s being hosted in Chingola this Saturday.

  1. beautiful sport, unfortunately in zambia we dont know how to select which body structure is for this sport or that sport, thats why sports science should be taken serious in this country, not every body is built for this sport, just like swimming, if you look at world class swimmers micheal phelps their body structures are tall , slender, long arms, and big broad shoulders, galamoja or rugby is usually not very tall, but diminutive, big chested and strong stocky legged individuals, remember jonah lomo.

  2. If one has body structure like that of a rhino, try him at this sport, soon you will zambia at the rugby world cup or even the sevens series like kenya is currently doing.

  3. You guys want to try gymnastics at the olympics or at world atheletics championships, just find individuals with not so short but diminutive bodies, broad shoulders and long arms,a chimp like body structure, voila! with passion and hard training, you have a champion.
