Vice President Guy Scott says it is highly unlikely that the PF will be dislodged from power in the 2016 general elections.
Dr. Scott said the PF government will be around for a very long time adding that it is highly unlikely that the party will lose the 2016 general elections.Dr. Scott was speaking in Lusaka when he opened a two day National Economic and Business conference at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
“Just get used to us, we are here for a very long time, so if you can’t beat us, work with us,” said Dr. Scott.
He said ruling parties in Zambia have historically served more than two terms hence there is no chance that the PF will serve only one term.
The Vice President also supported President Michael Sata’s statement that some civil servants who are aligned to the MMD are frustrating the PF’s development efforts.
Dr. Scott urged civil servants to change their bad attitude towards work and ensure that government delivers services to the public.
