Patriotic Front National Chairperson Inonge Wina has called on Patriotic Front members calling for the expulsion of former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba to stop.

Speaking to Q fm in an interview, Ms Wina sad that the party structures in Kasama have been told to stop the animosity between the party and Mr Mwamba.

Ms. Wina said that Mr. Mwamba has already stated that he remains a member of the ruling party and that his position should therefore be respected.

She added that Mr. Mwamba has the right to decide whether to remain in the party or leave.

Ms. Wina further stated that it is possible for one to resign from government and still remain a loyal member of the party.

She has further called on all party members to embrace love and unity.

  1. Ms Inonge Wina just understand that PF is Sata and Sata is PF masquarading as a party.Only urine is expelled from this cumbu mushololwa.

    • Sata has now realised his shallow mindedness and impulse decision making. How on earth do you tell your Defence Minister you don’t trust him, as though that’s not insulting enough you use his servants Phone, instead of his.

      PF is anchored on Bemba votes. I do not think PF can get even 2% of the total votes cast should the Bemba’s collectively decide not to vote for PF.

      SATA NEEDS TO PERSONALLY APOLOGISE TO BASHILUBEMBA. We haven’t taken his mediocrity regarding MwineLubemba lightly. Ninkulungwe, alyo mwaka umo.

  3. She is not in the PF to serve but to eat. These are the old folkes who cannot be trusted. She is not different with Daniel Ciyanga Siasondoka Munkombwe, the so called Deputy Minister for Southern Province. What development can such fossils impose, nothing apart from hoodwinking the young ones and the young generation. Such characters need to be kicked out of the system including their hero, the supreme leader cumbu munshololwa the president for swearing in ceremonies but who has never ever conducted a press conference since assuming power in 2011.

      Don’t you see that maintenance is just as important? Ancient sites people visit in foreign lands were developed hundreds if not thousands of years ago. Structures developed by the Kaunda administration hardly 50 years ago lie in ruin. F00lishly, people want to do more of the same – shamelessly let recent history repeat itself.

  4. This is politics! They now fully understand what it would mean to expel GBM especially with the Bembas, PF would slowly lose popularity in the North.

    • The guy was a “kapyanga”, for him , moving to Statehouse MEANS STAYING INDOORS SO THAT WE CAN ALL SEE HE LIVES THERE!!! What more do you expect??

    • He needs to be near a Toilet. The only way how you can’t start seeing out away from state house most of the time is if your spoke to Andrew Kurt to design a special mobile Toilet, that can fit in his vehicle.

Lets agree to disagree with respect and not just get carried away by looking down on peoples humble begingings hé… yes of late I havent been happy with the decisions the president has been making but looking down on people and their hummble beginings I hate! You may not know what might hit you today, tomorrow you could be that desperate to even beg for that Job, with or without a PHD, I have seen degree holders sweeping or flipping buggers just to see them through untill that shiny office shows up, please lets not carried away!

  9. I side with Inonge, her position is wise. GBM resigned because he declared interest in the stand off between govt position and Bemba tradition because that affects his family members. Who would like one’s relative be deprived of what is rightfully theirs by birth, unless powerless like being taken as slaves by the mighty coloniolists. GBM was right in all senses on this one. But his resignation be a reason to be chased from PF everyone knows the reason why he resigned. Thinking can really go crazy. Inonge is right, let GBM be PF member, it is alright. Good judgement Inonge.

Let us rewind a bit,do you remember how he used to insult mwanawasa??was he arrested for calling mwanawasa mad because ot the accident?he used to say mwanawasa’s brain had sand because his brain was picked together with sand after the accident. But today he is arresting someone for advising him surely is this the freedom we fought for. ???? Me i can directly insult now cause i am annoyed.

  13. Bo Mama Wina you right. I believe the indiscipline levels in PF can be controlled if this Woman (Party Chair) and E. Lungu (Disciplinary chair) can be allowed to do their work in the Party without interference. Winter, Kambwili, Sampa, Nsanda, Scot and a few others dont mean well to the unity and peace of the Party.Fire them and replace Winter with Lubinda (party SC), Scott be replaced with Inonge as Veep, Lungu should take over as Justice Minister (good combination as Disciplinary chair), Kambwili should loose all Party and GRZ functions and Ba Chikwanda should be retired,Set up a Group of Government advisers were all past Presidents should actively participate including some Eminent Zambians like Tom Mtine, Sardins, Chilala and others but non Politician.

  14. Mwamba has the right to leave govt and that must not affect his membership from PF. He gave out a good reason to step down but the problem is, the useless and fake political leaders in ka Bwalya, HH and Nevers who want to hijack the political platform and be heard by making nonsense statements. Let them not fight His Excellency through GBM but wait for the right time to be denied votes again. Currently, Mr Sata is the Head of State you take it or not and for the sake of peace lets support him now and reject him through the ballot. Which myself I will not do because nobody among his opponents is capable to be a leader for our nation.

      You are right about GBM not owning the Bemba, because Sata owns them now. For your info, Tongas do not have paramount chiefs like the rest of the tribes. So they do not pay absolute homage to any chief. Any chief who misbehaves in Tonga land can be canned by ordinary citizens. Do your research.

  24. Am happy that one of the senior PF Party official has made a progressive statement against what is going on in the PF party circles in Northern Province in particular Kasama. It is not always in good taste to expel any party member who has erred. There are a lot of way to correct some one. Leaders who lack management skills always resort to such conclusions like expulsion or suspension. A good leader should be tolerant and be in a position to condone its member who error depending on the circumstance. So I challenge you PF party officials in Northern Province to desist from expelling your members and always rushing to the media to report any simple happening in your party. It is like wife and husband rushing to the media to discuss bedroom matters! Wake up and stop it!!!

Yes, those are wise words from Wina, but, has she convinced the incorrigible Cobra that that is the way to go to avoid PF alienating itself from the electorates. I used to be a fan of the Cobra prior to his election and i could have heated arguments with my wife as my wife was and is still against him as she never saw or sees any good leadership qualities in him. Just a little appraisal for the Cobra performance since his election below;

    2. Deligation of work – 0%
    3. National Debt management- 0%
    4. Eradication of corruption – 0%
    5. Improvement of the countrys infrastructure- 50%

    7. Kwacha performance against other currencies- 0%
