Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba has likened his younger brother George Muma Mwamba to Judas Iscariot.

Mr. Mwamba has since advised his brother to stop behaving like Judas Iscariot.

Speaking to QFM News in an interview, Mr Mwamba advised his brother not to forget where he is coming.He said family relationship is very important and anyone who forsakes his family for the love of money can never live in peace.

Mr. Mwamba, who restrained himself from commenting further on the wild allegations made by his brother, stated that it will not be long before time judges his younger brother harshly for his reckless comments about him.

And commenting on his suspension by the Patriotic Front Northern Province executive, Mr. Mwamba said he has not received any formal letter of suspension.He has described his suspension as hearsay.

Meanwhile Kasama central Patriotic Front constituency Chairman Abraham Mulenga says the Northern Province executive committee is a wrong body to suspend Mr. Mwamba from the party.

Mr. Mulenga stressed that the constituency has no reason to suspend Mr. Mwamba because he is still loyal to the structures.

  1. Surely how can you disown your own blood brother over politics? This is shocking. I think this Muma Mwamba guy must be GBM’s first cousin.

      The infighting started with the party itself, then it expanded to infighting within the tribe and now it’s taken another dimension, the family. Simply disgusting, it’s like vultures killing each other over a carcass. Zambian resources are their carcasses.

    • @ Cycle Mata & @ The London Eye, I do not see how the tribe comes in here, if you are talking about GBM, his brother and Mr. Sosala as the ‘TRIBE’ then its your brain which is infiltrated, just clean it up a little bit then you will free yourself from the ‘fallacy of generalization’.

  3. Whether his brother is a traitor or not, why is GBM not commenting on the serious revelations of clear-cut corruption involving himself and his entire family? How were they all able to easily get those numerous tenders/contracts from the Zambia National Service when many other Zambians are denied them?
    Clearly the entire system is rotten. These are some of the issues that will be looked into by the next government, just like they are doing to RB. The PF is worse!

    • London Eye, don’t you think the appropriate people to ask those questions ought to be ZNS? Why not get the confirmation directly from those said to have given GBM and/or his family members the alleged contracts instead of asking GBM who, no matter what he says will not be believed by people like you?

    In fact it is the Bible which says in Hebrews that a person who does not look after his own immediate family is worse more than an infidel.
    So those who are in the government must look to it that family ties are more important than money they get.

  8. The PF;s game of dividing family ties started with the Mwanawasa family. During the Geral Election campaigns the PF set up Patrick Mwanawasa against his Aunty, President Mwanawasa’s sister. After the election, Patrick has been abandoned. A similar trick was used in the Mkaika by-elections.

    This time around a desperate clique within the PF is setting up George Muma Mwamba against his elder brother GBM. As soon as this clique gets its desired goals, George will also be damped into the dust bin.
