Kitwe United are back at the top of the FAZ Division One Zone Two table after overcoming Chingola Police 1-0 in a midweek fixture at Garden Park Stadium in Kitwe.
Striker Emmanuel Chabula scored the solitary goal in the second half as Kitwe dislodged Konkola Blades, who where not in action, from the top.
This was Chabula’s 12th goal of the season.
Kitwe lead the Zone Two table with 52 points from 26 matches played.
The Buchi Boys are one point above second placed Konkola who have one un-played match against Chambishi.
Roan United remained in third place after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Gomes Wanderers at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya.
Roan have 48 points from 26 matches played.
Four rounds of matches are left to play in the Division Zone Two campaign.
