Kavindele is like a rich fool in the bible-Muteka

MMD national youth Chairperson Moses Muteteka has likened MMD presidential aspirant Enoch Kavindele to the rich fool in the bible, who thought he was wise because of his riches.

Mr Muteteka says the party does not need a rich man to be the president.

He says what the party needs is a man who is mature, God fearing, has respect for people and fully understands what is best for the party.

Mr Muteteka, who is also an aspiring presidential candidate, was responding to Mr Kavindele’s who was recently quoted as saying that the MMD needs a leader who is politically and financially equipped.

Speaking to QFM, Muteteka says Mr Kavindele is just de-campaigning himself stating that a political party is not formed using money but through concerted effort by all members.

Oh my! Muteteka give us a break; on the one hand you speak of no need for money, on the other your party has the reputation of stealing public funds (cf. rampant allegations and investigations). I think we do need someone who has no appetite for dipping his or her fingers into the cookie jar of the already impoverished under the guise of being under the people’s support!!!!

He is free to aspire as a party presidential candidate just as you Muteteka and should not be likened to a rich **** in the bible. The rich **** in the bible thought he had life because of the bumper harvest he got and not that he was wise because he was rich.
Bwana Kavindele put up the spirit as you campaign for the party presidency and never be intimidated by what others are saying.
A party requires money to run it.

My dear Namalikita, ever since UNIP, this is the first draft constitution that any government has presented to the public for recommendations, which has any semblance of a people driven constitution and contains issues that the people have been talking about rather than just what the leaders dream about. The last was the Mung’omba Constitution, and you know how the MMD (Chiluba) government dealt with that. This is the first people driven constitution. Have you even read it or do you just have a problem with PF?

One of the reasons the MMD is sinking today is being broke and having unclean money that they cannot spend. There is no money in the MMD and that is why they do not even have a leader. TheY had so greedy a leader who kept party money in HIS personal account and has run away to the USA. Kavidele seem to have clean money and willing to spend it. None of the other thieves are willing to spend. Muteteka what do u have that can run a party?

Inappropriate, I think the elders will move in to advise our prospect. This is not the MMD we want to build for the future. Lets leave such personal attacks to street or bus station parties like the one in power

#8 this is going to get worse in MMD. You are lucky Dora will not be taking full part in the circus but I hope when the defection period comes there will still be MMD alive.

That guy is very immature. Talk about what you will do for the party instead of attacking opponents in public.

People. Kavindele is trying to hoodwink you. Kavindele has no money. He can’t even afford fuel for his car. The man can’t even afford food for his house. Kavindele cuts his hair on Nkongole now. He was hanging around RB during campaigns in order to earn a living.

Muteka’s analogy does not hold. The bible verse he is quoting teaches a completely different lesson. His remark is just a direct insult to Kavindele. If I were an MMD supporter I’d write-off Muteka as shallow minded and not fit to be President.Kavindele’s use of his financial position to gain advantage in the Presidential race is equally wrong.

Am not comfortable with anyone who campaigns on the basis of how financialy strong one is.
Financial muscle and wisdom to run something are two different things.
We should not blow our own trumpet as to how strong financialy we are.

This Mutekela has no respect for elder. the ka building Mutekela is officiating looks like a chicken barn and reflects what he can achieve. Kavindele has a point. Poor presidents just go in to enrich themselves.

muteteka is a grade twelve drop out from mumbwa secondary school 94 intake…so we would not be surprised to his low calibre of understanding issues. He should thank his relatives who put him up where he does not belong….he his a remanant of politicians from the family tree sundrome.

Iwe chi Bootlicker @8, which party in Zambia had andpracticed street and station manners, is it not your MMD that was even beating people who did not wear your useless regalia at stations and in streets. When are you going to wake up and realise power has gone to the people kanshi. Just help rebuild your dying party quitely. Perpetual bitterness is extremely very bad and unhealthy
