Zambia Enter Camp In Ndola

Share

Zambia has regrouped in Ndola ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against Zimbabwe.

Coach Herve Renard has called 30 players who started arriving at Ndola’s Savoy Hotel
on Sunday in readiness for the friendly.

Team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi was not available for a comment on the training camp.

But one of the players in camp told LT Sports from Ndola that almost all the 30 players have reported for camp.

Zimbabwe-based defender Aaron Katebe of Hwange and Angola-based Lawrence

Phiri are the only foreign based players Renard has summoned for the friendly.

Zimbabwe are expected to arrive in the country on Monday.

  1. Wasting time playing pub teams at the expense of our FIFA rankings, these Kalu and his FAZ comedians can not even mobilise the full squad….only in Zambia.

  2. What position is that Lawrence Phiri plays, you hear that he is left-back, the number Zambians can’t play.

  3. What’s this with FIFA rankings? So what, if you drop on the rankings? Are they gonna ban you? Soccer is about probability. You win some, draw some and lose some. That is why it is called a game. After this one we go to South Korea for another friendly. It seems people think you get rewarded for being ranked high. Nope. These things can fluctuate, after all we have African teams to play for AFCON and WC qualifiers.

  4. FAZ.This will also be poorly organised as usual because Ticket sales havent even started.they didnt know that monday is a holiday. How can you expect people to buy tickets 24 hrs before the game. They (FAZ) havent even come out strongly if the game will be played in Ndola or Kitwe after the K200 Million for use of Levy Mwanawasa issue.

  5. on 15 august you come to Korea,i will be at hand to give you support at Seoul world cup stadium.just prepare well the teaguk warriors take every game seriously.
