Chisamba Lungu is fit to face Nigeria says Herve Renard.
Renard said on Thursday that he expects the Russian-based midfielder to play in the crucial do-or-die Group C clash on January 25 at Mbombela Stadium.
“He received a knock on the foot he needed to rest for 24 hours he will train today (Thursday) and be ready for selection tomorrow,” Renard said.
Chisamba sustained his injury on January 21 after a crude tackle from suspended Ethiopia goalkeeper Bushura Tasew in the 32rd minute.
The midfielder however finished the game but limped out of Mbombela after the match that saw him sidelined from training on Wednesday.

Chisamba at the moment is Zambia’s dependable player. He is smart and quick. He is able to face the defenders of the opponents and dribble them (Ukubalungama). Only those who have played soccer can understand this. If only we had 3players like him the Nigerian team is a walk over.
I just hope Chisamba will learn how to shout the ball at goal or free-kicks.

If you watch the replay of Zambia vs Ethiopia game in the second half you see Katongo with the ball in the eighteen area while Kalaba on the other side open and un marked calling for the ball to be past to him ….but Katongo decides to shot wide over the goal post. Why is KATONGO such a greed player? it’s seems he does not believe in team work.He only wants to make a name for himself and be counted on the score sheet.The boys should have won that match. I hope that wont happen.
