  1. Mbesuma is reported to be injured and will probably be sidelined for the next 3 weeks.Could the block give any news on issac chansa in sweden since his team won 9-0 on the weekend. How is edwin phiri perfoming

  2. It’s good to hear that most of our Zambian players are featuring more often in the clubs that their professional football.

It’s as simple as the more they feature, the more exposure.

Guys keep up the good work. We will rallying behind you

  3. These players should start to play more for themselves and achieve their highest benchmarks..The National Team will only benefit if these fools play their lungs out with clear objectives of playing for a bigger better team..If I was coach I would drop Mbesuma to make he work harder and smarter

  4. ya I agress with #4. I would drop FAT Boy Mbesuma. Amafi yakale taya nunka ( Old feaces don’t smell). This guy is past sale by date. Instead of going up he is going down, wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in a div 2 team in SA like Lota & Kapamba. Lack of discipline and dedication..nothing personal.

  5. #1.of all the players playing in sweden, only boyd mwila is playing regularly for his first division team. for issac, the guy has not played since his move from south africa.

  6. #6 Can you clarify the bases of your facts. Ubufi bubi sana. Isaac has played in some games, mind you there are more than 5 foreign players at his club and only 3 can feature at a time. Isaac has played in some games, but the coach does not want to rush him but is giving him time to get used. Some of these guys have been with the team for a while, so you just do not drop them like that, and Isaac has to learn to fight for a place in training. As for Chris Katongo, has to change clubs after AFCO

  7. Chris should change clubs
Jacob should stay at his present club
    Mbesuma,I do not know
    Sichone should switch clubs
    Sinkala as well
Edwin Phiri should be recalled for AFCON
Boyd and Yobe are crap, no consideration at all
Tana is past his time, maybe as a reserve
Chintu Kampamba must made a regular in central defence
Mweene is first choice, no doubt
Kalaba in the team for AFCON
as well as S. Sunzu and Mayuka
Jacob Band as Second or third choice keeper
    Nyambe Mulenga be included

  8. AFCON
    Mweene
    Jacob Band
    ???
    Edwin Phiri
    B. Mwanza
    Nketani
    Hachilensa (Finland)
    M. Lungu (Hungary)
    B. Mumba (Hungary)
    M.Sichone (Germany)
    A. Sinkala (Germany)
    Musonda (SA)
    Chintu (SA)
    Chansa (Sweden)
etc and plus 4 international schoolboys

  9. ba justice mwilaimona ukuchenjela.how many games has chansa played? and looking at your afcom players, u dont realy no what u are talking about. afcom is not for babies. s.sunzu mayuka why? hachilensa only played two games mu finnish league in fifteen games.misheck has been loaned to a second division team and royd mumba just came from zambia afew months and hasnt played. edwin phiri nubululu wenu or what?

  10. I thinks this sports blog is so fuuny. I enjoy to read all your comments. But i have to say that they’re all very valid. To be a soccer fan is different from being a coach,or administrator. Most of you bloggers are ardent soccer fans but its like that you know so much than the coaches do. Give Patrick Phiri his mandate to choose a formidable team that will do Zambia pride at AFCON.Soccer nowdays has reached a very competitive level suh that it not where one plays but how well he plays.

  11. rona go to HIF’s homepage, you will find out how many games Chansa has played. Ronald went to the world with Brazil at a very young age, therefore promising players have to be given a chance to come along. Edwin Phiri is doing well. Who do you want to be in the team, Boyd Mwila, you must be funny. And where do you think Zambian players are going to come from. In the past we had schoolboy internationals like Shambulo, Bizwell and Willie Phiri etc playing at the top level. Is Boyd Mwila bululu obe?

  12. Those who think Mbesuma is not good enough for Zambia will be very dissapointed if he is dropped.who is going to score if Mbesuma is gone? You think Katongo can play the world alone? You forget Zambia were not even going to be in the Africa Cup If it was not for Mbesuma. You think that goal he scored against Chad meant nothing? Please leave the young man alone. He is not being slected at Bursaspor. Of the few games he has played as a substitute he hit the crossbar once. Leave him alone.

  13. Why is everyone attacking Mbesuma and yet Jacob Mulenga and Katongo have not scored for their clubs this season. You are destroying the young mans morale. All of you saw for yourselves in the Cosafa that Zambia is useless without Mbesuma. Drop him and see what happens when Sudan hammer you.

  14. #16 I think you have a point. Lets judge these players faily and the honest truth is that all are strikers are struggling in their respective leagues and therefore it is not fair to single out Mbesuma. He will come alright.

  15. I hate to say this but really Zambia is not yet good enough to win the AFCON. You can’t depend on luck to win a tournament. There is not leader in the team with the drive and desire to win. We need influential players that can win matches and that is what we are missing right now. By now, Mbesuma, Jocob, Sichone, Sinkala, Katongo should be players to reckon with. I can’t put my money on inconsistent boys. I just enjoy the adrenaline rush! it sacks to always be on the losing side, now I’m imune.

  16. I told you guys, all those who play for clubs whose name we cannot spell out, later on pronounced should come back and sit on the bench for Nkana FC!!

    Ofcourse i am just joking.

  17. looking at the present situation you will agree that our players abroad come from the bench most of the times. However that is what we have and our duty as a nation is to encourage these players to work and die a little harder for mother zambia. My concerne though comes to faz.why is it that we have not yet come with a concrete training plan.Im quite behind with what really faz intends to do in oder to prepare the squad.Remember preparation is everything. How are the hungarian players performing?

  18. Professional football in Europe is full of dirty. It is very difficult for players coming from outside Europe to settle. I recall Miti and Tembo had similar problems just like these of Katongo, Chansa etc, it took them almost a year to settle down. There are too much tactics. Zambia players like to play attacking football and to the crowd, which is OK, but in Europe it is like it is all about money and money and money, rubbish

  19. Rona #6.Isaac Chansa has so far played about 4 games for Helsingborgs. He actually played last weekend in the 9-0 demolitiom of a team called Halmstads BK.He wears Jersey #2 though playing on the right side of the midfield.

  20. Cont #25.He wil come right it’s not easy in a new team, hes a competitive player. He also plays with Henrik Larsson formerly of Glasgow Celtic,Barcelona and Man Utd and one of the best players to have come out of Sweden.
