The Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD)in Luapula Province has added its voice in slamming party National Spokesperson Benny Tetamashimba for suggesting that the ruling party should find a leader to replace President Levy Mwanawasa when he returns.
And the MMD in Luapula Province has called on Zambians not to relent in praying for the full recovery of President Mwanawasa adding that there is nothing impossible with God.
Luapula Province MMD executive through its Provincial Party Chairman Major Chibwe Nsakasha said the MMD in Luapula was saddened by the suggestions to replace President Mwanawasa when he was still in hospital.
Major Nsakasha said that instead of contemplating leadership succession for President Mwanawasa it was only prudent for Mr Tetamashimba to pray for the full recovery of the President.
In an interiew today with ZANIS, Major Nsakasha termed Mr Tetamashimba’s action as inhuman and against the Zambian culture saying this needed to be strongly condemned.
He said that the Party in Luapula was strongly opposed to Mr Tetamashimba’s suggestions and that his remarks were aimed at disorienting the party in the absence of President Mwanawasa.
The Provincial Chairman said that remarks by Mr Tetamashimba would however, not have have any negative effects on the party’s unity in Luapula Province.
He said that the MMD membership in the Province remained united.
“We would like to disassociate ourselves from the recent media reports about our spoksperson Mr. Tetamashimba that president Mwanawasa should be replaced when he comes back from France we condemn the statement and Mr. Tetamashimba and urged the entire country to rally against it,” Mr. Nsakasha said.
Mr. Nsakasha was reacting to Tetamashimba’s remarks recently urging the MMD to consider President Mwanawasa’s successor when he returns from Percy Military Hospital in France where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, Zambians have continued to pray for the recovery of President Levy Mwanawasa who is hospitalised at Percy Military Hospital in France.
Scores of Mumbwa residents in Central Province joined the rest of the nation in observing prayers for the recovery of President Mwanawasa during an inter-denominational service over the weekend.
The prayer service, held at United Church of Zambia(UCZ) attracted an over capacity crowd from various denominations within the District, who included Government officials,MMD as well as opposition Party officials.
Leading Mumbwa’s Clergymen, Pastor’s Fellowship Chairperson Ephraim Lungu, assured residents that the power of collective prayer could bring about intervention from God for the President’s healing.
Pastor Lungu, from Heritage of Faith Church, said that it was evident that Mumbwa residents were petitioning to God for the recovery of President Mwanawasa, and that this prayer needed to be accompanied by unquestionable faith in the power of God.
He disclosed that the Pastors of Mumbwa had gone as far as declaring ‘Mumbwa for Jesus’ because they had unanimously resolved that a unified voice of prayer would lead to prompt recovery of the President.
Another Preacher, Reverend Peter Simwanza of UCZ said that he was sure that the President health was under the auspice of God because he had not yet completed his spiritual mission for Zambia.
Reverend Simwanza said that he had prophesied long ago that President Mwanawasa was chosen by God to mold Zambia into a Christian Nation, and to steer it into greater heights of development.
He appealed to Mumbwa residents to be calm and optimistic, adding that prayers for the President’s recovery had already been granted.
Reverend Simwanza also urged Preachers from other Church bodies to ensure that inter-denominational prayer services be held frequently, in which people could pray for peace, progress and investment prospects of Mumbwa district.
The inter-denominational prayer gathering at UCZ became the second prayer service in Mumbwa to be devoted to the President’s recovery, in which multitudes of residents filled UCZ central church, with the crowds spilling over onto the hospital round-about road.
Early last week, Mumbwa’s Zambia Police Officer Commanding, Douglas Chamonda kick started the first prayer service devoted to the President’s recovery.

While culture plays an impotrant role in every day politics, the magnitude of the succession problem should be looked at and delt with in apolitical business sense with less reliance on culture. The outcome will entail the next threshhold that will drive Zambian politics.
The truth hurts! Why is it a simple opinion is waking pipo’s hearts. If they are real in prayer, the opinion a single person should not bother them so much!
SORRY FELLOW BLOGGERS: BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT

THE HAGUE, Netherlands – The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court filed genocide charges Monday against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, accusing him of masterminding attempts to wipe out African tribes in Darfur with a campaign of murder, rape and deportation.
The filing marked the first time prosecutors at the world’s first permanent, global war crimes court have issued charges against a sitting head of state.
Luis Moreno-Ocampo asked a three-judge panel at the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Al-Bashir to prevent more deaths. Some 2.5
Am not joining this Prayer crusade until you tell me exactly what to pray for. I.E what the condition of the president is. I just can’t be praying for a vague condition like stable
Some 2.5 million people have been forced from their homes in Darfur and are still under attack from government-backed janjaweed militia.
“Genocide is a crime of intention — we don’t need to wait until these 2.5 million die,” he said in an interview with The Associated Press.
Moreno-Ocampo was undeterred by concern that his indictment against al-Bashir might lead to vengeance against Darfur refugees and the closing of Sudan’s doors to relief agencies and possibly peacekeeping troops.
“The genocide is ongoing,” he said, saying that systematic rape was a key element of the campaign. “Seventy-year-old women, 6-year-old girls are raped,” he said.
Moreno-Ocampo filed 10 charges agains
Moreno-Ocampo filed 10 charges against al-Bashir: three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of murder. Judges are expected to take months to study the evidence before deciding whether to order al-Bashir’s arrest.
Despite the charges, al-Bashir is unlikely to be sent to The Hague any time soon. Sudan rejects the court’s jurisdiction and refuses to arrest suspects.
MMD cadres think positive and look far beyond the current situtuation you have found your party in. contigent plans are vital and this is a lesson to any political party to look at. We all love president Mwanawasa and we wish him well. But the reality which all of us are facing is when will MMD have a vice president of the party as it were.Vice president Lupiya Banda is not annointed by the party and its cadres. Therefore, it is this political dilema MMD is facing. Tenta is right though this has come on uncertainity time but a remainder of one man political show which the MMD has to accept that they made a mistake to abolish the vice president position. They gave the president too much power.
Indicting a sitting president is not unprecedented.
Other international courts previously have indicted Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic and Charles Taylor of Liberia while they were in office. Milosevic died in custody in The Hague in 2006 shortly before the end of his trial, while Taylor is on trial in a courtroom just four stories above the room where Moreno-Ocampo made his announcement Monday for orchestrating atrocities in Sierra Leone.
Teta only suggested that when the President LPM is back from France, MMD should find a party president to start selling the party to the electorate for 2011. Why is this very difficult to understand. For God’s sake this is 2008 and the president is in no condition to preside over party matters as well as national duties. He needs to recuperate and then MMD need to be preparing for 2011. The MMD candidate will be difficult to sell if he is brought to the fore at the 11th hour. How can a sane person hope that LPM should be overloaded with party and national duties after his brain hermorrage?
Theoetician, you’re an attention seeker! pls stick to the bloody topic @ hand, to hell with that Sudanese story
President Mwanawasa SC is a christian and even us who are praying for him should pray like christian and not hipochrist who wiil go on the steet and pray on top of thire voice,God does not answer such prayers.Do not think that you are the only christians who knows how to pray.
Teta for once is speaking common sense! Levy needs to rest otherwise he’ll suffer a 3rd and perhaps fatal stroke! The man should have rested after 1st stroke but Maureen & the family tree were trying to take care of their jobs, now look at the mess we’re in! We need plan B NOW
Teta has a point we do not know the outcame from levy after leaving the comma, especially that he has been on bed rest for a long time . maybe he will a step behind or forward. Nonetheless let us put in prayers for a quick and good recovery.
“Let us wait and see” – Dennis Liwewe.
Otherwise, we need more prayers for the President, Mr Levy P Mwanawasa (SC,Hon. Doctor), and his family in this trying time. God is able. He will help us with the best solution out of all this. It is my prayer that H.E. LP Mwanawasa recovers fully health-wise.
In the meantime, shall we also pray for our Country, Zambia, and Nation at large. Pray for the government to continue working towards making sure all Zambians are health to a good extent by providing enough health care facilities in the Country.
these chaps 4rm luapula expressing fake concerns, i’m sure they’ve got something up their sleeves! I give it 2-3 wks before the chickens come home to roost and the snakes begin to show their true colours
# 3 I also read that. so what happens when they want to arrest the pres? do they let him report to them or they arrest him? Yamugwela nkhani mudala. Janjaweed being supported by boma ya al Behsir?
correction al Beshir sorry.
Is the old man in good condition to continue carrying out his daily duties when comes back home? If not, then they should think of the succession. The truth pains.
mwanawasa ni chitawala, so dont pray for him!!
18. Levy is not an old man, he is 59, younger then most leaders in Africa. I agree Levy should rest, appoint a successor and rest, he has done enough. I hope he does rest. The danger with the MMD is that they will end up like UNIP, once they are out of power.
# 1 your analysis couldnt be put any better thats the truth culture is seperate from politics and the sheer magnitude of the matter at hand demands that it be treated in the best interest f the nation and noth the best interest of MMD. Pakwakana ubunga tapaba nsoni goes a bemba saying and thats the stage we are in now. TETA is right. Could MMD attack teta’s objective with a better one and not attacking the object (teta). LPM needs replacement even now as he is in paris. How long cn anyonew be away frm office on sick leave anyway without attracting the attention of the employer(zambians in this case and teta is zambia) for a possible replacement. Even when people go on marternity leave most c
#19 Your information is out-dated, LPM is not chitawala, otherwise he would not have become President.
The truth hates in most casee if not all the times. Teta you did hit the nail on the head.
TETA ALI CHE.
companies would find a temporally replacemt to cover for marternity leave so that the company’s operations are not disrrupted. Their is weight in what Teta is saying and GRZ/MMD need to look it objectively. Now what are those prayers for?If the prayers are doing any good then bring him home so that people can pray vfor him and cut the cost of his medication especially that the prayers are free compare to treatment he is receiving in paris. Please dont turn the entire country into a church or scripture union. sare us those prayers. LPM is gone. Forget about miracles face reality.
Let’s take necessary measures to ensure that there is no leadership vacuum in the country. As we continue to pray and fast for our president, measures must be taken to ensure that the country continues to operate normally.
GOD BLESS THE PRESIDENT
Reports 4rm RB that Levy is ‘stable’ and had a ‘restful weekend’ is a bunch of bullocks! These guys better get serious and tell us the following;
1. Is Levy conscious, talking?
2. On life support with feeding tubes?
C’mon, they can only buy so much time…2 more wks and Zambians will start demanding answers!
The constitution is very clear vis-a-vis what happens when the President dies or is incapacitated, the only twist is that the same cabinet who are required to initiate the process are also looking out for their own interests! there’s no guarantee they will still keep their jobs if elections are called within 90 days. Interesting to see how the story unfolds…
I don’t mean to be cruel but can u imagine how much the Treasury has spent on Levy, Chiluba & more recently Sata’s health problems?…How long can we afford to sustain that entourage in an expensive city like Paris? Perhaps insensitive, but food for thought nonetheless…
#25, your name, your analysis don’t lack christian values….. People you can tell a point without sounding like the devil himself!
There is every sence in Tentamashimba’s statement. What is wrong is the timing (especially that the statement was made in public)! I dont see anything wrong for the MMD’s NEC to discuss this topic behind closed doors. Even Cabinet/government can discuss succession behind closed doors. The public deserve to listen to solutions not problems, especially during this period when Mwanawasa is ill.
As much as he is unde fire we need to start thinking our country does not rest on mwanawasa and teta alone, its our country, I presume its just about time we have fresh elections, I am rest assured Sisala will be out at Zesco, Then I am all happy elctricity is a life blood of any country long live Mwanawasa but we have to move on as a country

Comrades unempty stomach usually is not a very good political advicer. free advice to the Mwanawasa Family. Beware of those that are thirsty for money!
Zed should introduce intensive medical reviews of all Presidential aspirants.State house should only admit healthy people not patients. Our noble symbol of the presdency is being turned into a hospital.
Teta said the truth and its time GRZ/MMD started looking for a replacement. Uncle Bob’s attitude must not be accepted in Zambia. How much do we know about LPM’s condition? Very little if not none. Viva Teta.
# 29,i also had similar thoughts. However TETA was right.MMD needs a new leader now whether they like it or not
MMD has not future if they cant accept the advise from Tetamashimba. He sounds foolish to day but lets wait and see what these COWARDS are up to?
THE mojor is a coward, wat is he saying y not just shut up ad wait for da next laeder may be by da grace of God he can be employed.TETA ITS THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR NT THOSE COWARD HYENAS,WE ARE BEHIND YOU GO TATA GO SHAME BY SAYING THE TRUTH.DOT B LYK BISHOP NJASE WO IZ NOT KNOWN WHERE HE BELONGS TOO.BRAVO TETA.KEEP DA FLAME BURNING

Oh no.
dont hide things and people will trust you more and you will avoid confusion. Waht sort of leadership is this. Discuss issues and move on. Ya, kanshi everything is a problem in Zambia???
mwanawasa ni Chitawala and so is the family! though hez more realistic than most of them who just believe in dogma! they pretend not to want to participate in politics but r also victims of poor policies…dumb dumb dumb…a chitawala with anemia would rather die than get a simple blood transfusion! dumb dumb dumb…
#43 Are you saying LPM is refusing blood transfusion bcoz of his Faith!
Isnt it interesting that ZNBC is only airing people aganist Teta , those who have different views on this issue havent been given coverage!!!!!!!!
Principle gentlemen and ladies.
“Unless therefore I am convinced by the testimony of Scripture, or by the clearest reasoning, – my conscience is and will remain bound by the Word of God, I cannot and I will not retract, for it is unsafe for a Christian to speak against his conscience. Here I stand, I can do no other; may God help me? Amen!” by Martin Luther.
Dr Kalumba, MMD National Secretary, can you stop the nonsense. Every Jim and Jack is negatively commenting on Teta’s progressive remarks about finding a successor. The MMD is not different from the then KK UNIP where nobody was allowed to think that there could be another leader except Kaunda. PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE lets find a successor to President Mwnanawasa before it is too late. And you carders stop hindering progress. Kaunda would say to you “stupid *****s”.
It shows power hungry on the part of Tetamashimba for him having surgested that MMD should find a reader to replace Mwanawasa. It sounds like he has always wanted Levy replaced. However it is common sense that if Levy incapable of carring out state duties definetly he will have to be replaced. There must be a way of dealing with such matters in the party and Tetemashimba should understand as being MMD member. He sounds like one who knows little about the MMD and its rules.Or may be he is trying to tell us that there is no procedure of choosing the leader in MMD if anything happens to their leader.
TETA for president. How about that? He is the only honest and realistic guy in the MMD.
Bushe ku ZNBC kwaliba aba mano? They all work on orders like police dogs!
Teta has spoken a lot of sense….
#4 u are funny but real.
Tentamashimba , You are the man. Do not give up. A lot of Zambians think the way you think but they are afraid to say anything. Zambia is one of the most democratic countries in the would. We use our brains. Anybody who does not understand what a stroke is must know that it is an attack on the brain. Unless God fully intervenes, President Mwanawasa will never be president again. Sorry, I do not even see Maureen fulfilling her wishes of becoming the next President. Zambians, lets start blogging on who should be our next President. Progress ladies and gentlemen.
Teta is soon becoming a hero i didnt know him before this saga now i know him.It takes alot of courage to say things as correct as that yet dreadful.Reality will soon dawn and all those who are condemning Teta will have to swallow their own words, sad as it may be.MMD need a new leader. We are where we are because of engineering, lets not allow engineers to do more engineering for us.
You see how the truth is changed, this is a typical example of misinformation, what are these chaps from Luapula saying, did Teta say when he comes back and was he definite in his statement or just suggested, zambian politics are sickening, now I think we need Chirwa and HH in this arena, it looks like they are from a different generation my only hope is that, when there time comes they will..
The same cadres condemning Teta would condemn ZNBC if they reported the truth. The ZNBC guys are innocent they need to keep their jobs.
contd 54…
purge all these toothless, useless bootlickers who will go to church and pretend to be praying to LPM and thereafter in their bedrooms (thats if they have any), go anf say akafwa lisa naifwe tutekeko! I am sick and tired if these double tounged fools, not long ago they were rallyng behind Teta when he said MMD is not in a hurry to find LPMs replacement, so simply because he conformed he was there friend, now that he is saying the truth everybody is baying for his blood. I am sick man!
All of you chaps making stupid statements about Teta, we are marking you. When the push comes to shove we will remember your names and we shall list down your stupidity against your name. You impede progress and you are not fit to be leaders. Viva Tentamashimba and Abash you “stupid *****s”. ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION. There is no more “and that leader”. Ba pompwe imwe.
#10 Weezy F Baby . Not seeking attention just bored of the LPM illness story. And those people who think that Cabinet can pass the motion of incapacity are wishful thinkers. Cabinet would rather MMD goes all the way to 2011. Perhaps only a person like Nevers Mumba (not even Katele) would have been excited/ambitious and/or “naïve” enough to go for the incapacitation option; little wonder he only lasted a few months as VP. RB, Magande, Mpombo, Mulongoti etc won’t allow that to happen. Suffice to say that my personal assessment and you are entitled to your own assessment or opinion.
#16 Nkeche. The Sudan/Al Beshir case is a precedence being set. I must confess the Hugue and rest of the world will be sailing in unchartered waters. Military conquest led to the capture of Saddam but I don’t see a military invasion of Sudan. However if the Hague issues an international warrant of arrest that will be an interesting twist.; to see how the world will resolve the conflict between international war crimes justice system and international diplomatic conventions. May some lawyer/international relations expert bloggers can shade some light
“And the MMD in Luapula Province has called on Zambians not to relent in praying for the full recovery of President Mwanawasa adding that there is nothing impossible with God.” I agree with you my friends nothing is impossible with God even taking Mwanawasa’s life is not impossible with God.
In a democracy, people should not be afraid to speak their mind, criticise and pose difficult questions. Teta posed what some term as an insensitive and/or self-serving question but one has to understand that the majority of the people are just as concerned as to the welfare of the president and to the future of the country. We have had little to no information on the recovery progress of the president and yet we are asked to pray. Isn’t it time to become more pragmatic and realise the fraility of the man that he will need more time to recover. What I would like to know is how long the president can be incapacitated before new elections are called.
Caution: The moment you find yourself in full agreement with short-circuited hotheads like Teta; Just know that you are missing something or your judgement is clouded. I stand by my word that man is foolish.
#59 Al Bashir is selling oil to China and not the US, that is the simple truth why he is being harangued. This indictment is hollow and incredible!
Guys I am a Zambian from Ethipia. Most of you would have known by my name. I love Zambia and I would love Zambia to progress. God chooses and appoints leaders. Lets not feel like God cannot find us another progressive leader. There are many capable Zambians. Lets begin to search. Fighting will not lead us anywhere
#62, is it not true that MMD need to look at their leadership and successing arrangements? And don’t you agree that it is not health to have this perceived power vacuum. I am assuming you are based in Zambia.
I agree with #64. I am a Zimbabwean and I know how bad Mugabe has been and my prayer is that Zambia and Zimbabwe must remain friends forever. Please accept us as people who need your help. We are praying for your president. We are also victims of Mugabe and his yes men. As a nation, Zambia, you really helped us and there is no doubt that we are one family. Please do not treat us different now just because of Mugabe’s foolishness. I love Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Cont’d 65 “The moment you find yourself in full agreement” So #62 which aspects of Teta’s statements do you disagree with since you said “full agreement” I am assuming you are in “partial agreement”
#64 I dont consider shouting for a belt when one’s pair of trousers has already dropped to the ground as clever or brave. It is purely reactionary. Uleipusha imbwa nge ifwele. (You are asking if it is a dog you are seeing, as if it is dressed).
Twalumba kapati (Thank you very much) #66.
“I have never learnt anything from anyone who agrees with me always” – unknown.
If levy is incapacitated and we hold elections in 90 days That will be end of MMD. RB may decide to for the top Job after all he is VP. But….he is UNIP. What will kill MMD is NOT PF but the wrangles on who becomes presidential candidate. Most will quite and join PF. Katele is National secretary, he has the instruments of power at his disposal to rig the nomination. Chirwa just decided to have a peace of whats going on. From his statement you can see that he is employing the western type of thinking. ie. Dont mourn forever, move on. Very soon he will be calling on the carbinet to declare LPM incapacitated…..
Not even partial, given his position. I should have said: The moment you find yourself in agreement with short-circuited hotheads like Teta; Just know that you are missing something or your judgement is clouded.
I am lost
#62 you are more than foolish. You are a small little stpuid man who lacks foresight. Be real and face the truth if you honestly love mother Zambia. Being MMD and feeding from LPM Zamtrop account will not benefit all poor Zambians. We have to have a new leader sooner than Teta’s words. Viva Teta and to hell those condemning you. No more KK wamuyaya.
Ba Theoretician, you are so boring. All your theories are dead ends in themselves. You are not making any sense out of sense.
Since I agree to a great extent with his statement what is it I could be missing which might cloud my judgement? We need to discuss and explore this a little bit more you know.
Sorry#64; I meant #65 I dont consider shouting for a belt when one’s pair of trousers has already dropped to the ground as clever or brave. It is purely reactionary. Uleipusha imbwa nge ifwele. (You are asking if it is a dog you are seeing, as if it is dressed).
#69 wayasa mukwesu
#76 there are quite a number who are willing to leave the trousers on the ground and pretend that it did not fall. Which one would you rather be? This is a classic case of the Emeperor’s new clothes don’t you think
Levy’s current problem was predictable right from the time he had the first Stroke. He has a personal physcian who either could not perform his Job or his advice was trashed by pipo who bebfitted from his Presidency. Whoever, forced LPM to stand in the last Election is responsible his condition today.
Please MMD find another leader to take over. A second stroke is usually more severe than the first one. If you survive, you become a cabbage.
#54(Mwiinga), I agree with you. Too much misinterpretation of Teta’s statement.
“Mumbwa for Jesus”, is our beloved President in Mumbwa? I would have been more confortable to pray,”Percy Military Hospital for Jesus”. You see these people are only concerned with their area. This is what we call “biased praying”
#75 I ve already explained that: That is reactionary. His statement is just asource of entropy. It does not amount to forward planning. So you now have combination of entropy and your “perceived vacuum”. Not a good recipe.
ZNBC website is not being updated for whatever reason. People overseas here want to read what is being broadcasted to the nation. Salasini, tell your website editor – Kelly Chubili to do his job.
TETA U STILL HAVE MY SUPPORT MUDALA!!!!!! EXPOSE THOUSE MMD BLOODHOUNDS ASAP DONT GO DOWN ALONE MUDALA!!!!!!!!!
82, ZNBC,give them credit. They are better than Daily Mail, Times of Zambia is the worst. Nothing wrong with ZNBC.
#81 I drop the argument, you are really not keen on discussing this, I did not see your explanation you are refering to in 81, If you are refering to the proverb about the dog, I am sorry I am short of interpretation power to see the relationship between “clouded judgement” and dog that is not dressed, anyhow let me drop the argument forthwith.
Hopefully the Sudanese pres gets arrested ASAP.Ever since the Arabs took over Sudan the black skinned people have been treated like trash. Most of our black history which is the soucr of all human civilisation lies in Sudan.
Did you know that Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt? Also there were black pharaohs that ruled Egypt during the 25 Dynasty.
Clean your house first before you tell me to clean mine. Why should 84 start making comparison with other parastatal medias? ZNBC has a dedicated IT website editor and he can easily upload what has been typed by news editor though more often with mistakes.
OK. Mate. Good day
#73 how about some respect.
I did not disrespect any one. The PM in the UK gets more than what I said and takes no offence. I wrote what a John Bull can tell you.
#30 & 33 how much like the devil do I sound? Insulting me wont change LPM’s condition neither will my analysis. I am just expressing myself like any one of you. Religion is a way of like and thus christianity is just one of the billion religions out there. In any case before the missionaries came to Africa, Africans had there own way of life which was later undermined by christianity and killed. Thats why you are probaly peter, john, joseph, mathew and not nasilele, chileshe, lukundo, mundia, hakainde, mutinta etc because these names where looked at as evil because they did not originate from the middle east the birth of religion-what nonsense is that. Religion is very good especially for ou
Hola #86 what’s up? Hope all is well, I am not in sunny weather as such anymore, now I feel jealousy of you who is in Summer.
cont..#91 for our teenagers for complete upright bringngness. I go to church myself to complete the week. Other than that tell what else. Anyway back to the point LPM is a public figure and thats why we are discussing him. Where did you want TETA to make the comments from in privacy?the nichodemus style? You hyppocryt get real and accept that prayers are not going to heal LPM. LPM needs specialized medical services thats why he is in Paris because the outdated equipment and the disadvantaged medical teams in zambia can keep him stable when is this going to sink into brains. Timing couldnt have been any better now is the time to talk about it. Dont wear the seatbelt after the impact it will be
Al Bashir’s warrant of arrest is being processed, I do not think this is being done in good faith
cont..#93 no use. Continue with the prayers and may God Almight hear every word of your prayers to heal HE. Perharps you can tell me what percentage of his stable condition is as a result of prayers and then maybe we can cut the costs proportionately.
#30 & 33 I have just read my posting at 25 and I see nothing wrong with it still I have said t before and I will say it again those prayers are meaningless. Why do us Zambians like pretending and lying? LPM is gone of course its sad but the nation moves on and the way forward is to discuss his succession now whether he is on life support equipment or not. You make devils like ba Katele look saints simply because they are supporting and probably even funding the hypocrytical prayers. The presidency is not LPM’s personal property please; it would be a taboo to discuss his personal property at this time but to discuss the presidency which is open to any Zambian is within every Zambian’s right
#30 & 33 please do not show your ignorance publicly. Whats wrong with DaVinci? For your info,Leonard DaVinci is a man highly regarded in medicine because of his contributions to its development especially in anatomy is that eveil? Please lets not divert from the real issue by diverting into less important issue. Be real and if you think prayers are really needed then stick to that without demonizing other people harbouring a disenting view
mwilaba ubunga balunda, in our prayer for Mwanawasa ,include even those who cannot afford a bag of mealie meal not to die of hunger,Teta is the only one who has eyes, pipo of Zeddy cannot see, i will vote for Tets
Mwanawasa abutwike mucitawala akoko lupiya mumapolitics,Guys lets not put God to test.lets pray for Gods Forgiveness.Where is Nevers mumba can he join us in prayer
just pray you guys
The Post should not only dig deeper. They should get to the source of data and provide first hand info. The post send one of your report to france !
#77. Great stuff. Take careful care always. People who always sing praises around an individual are suspects of not being interested in the welfare of that person.
Amupone cibotu oko nkomubedde basa. Calino, ndamwaika.
102 why so may Hs? HH are enough !
#103, they are there to reinforce the deep ‘h’ sound like the “h” in phiri (Chewa), buthi (Zulu), fhulufhelu (Venda) or the “b” in bbola (Tonga) – for football.
Hhehhehhehhe, you are the man.
Why is every pastor or clergy falling over themselves with prayers for Levy when so many people in Zambia have died or in Hospitals. How many of these clergy go around and pray for ordinary pipo in Hospitals. Why should levy get all these prayers and yet other pipo are getting none. My prayer is as follows God please heal every Zambian in Hospital regardless of their status, AMEN
Come to think of it So many prayers have gone to Levy that there is a shortage of prayers for other people.Come on Zambians let us be real, Levy had an opportunty to look after his health. It would have been different if it was an accident but this is self inflicted. He knew he was not well yet he toyed with his life. And here we are praying for a man who does not care about his health, I can bet you that God is not even listening to your prayers How can a 50+ year old man not know what is right for him? I am definitely not wasting my prayer on LPM i would rather prayer for every one else in Hospital who did not have an opportunity.
Thanks #105. Take careful care and endeavour not to do anything wrong always.
Have a great day you all, Zambians and others.
Mwiinga, which company do you work for? Or do for yourself?
Which ever way, your company must be bleeding thru your unproductivity behaviour. You spend more time on internet than on your actual job. Anyway, this my perception about you.
You spend too much time watching the internet. Please spend time on the job you paid for!
Whats ur problem Mukongo. Maybe like Mwinga, I have no employment but I have a computer and spend most of my unused time blogging with people like you on internet. I find it so interesting!!
Mukongo, iwe ka chika_la chobe, waba ama tol_e, why the fcuk r u bloggin in the first place? if u think those of us on here don’t have anything better to do, then go fcuk yourself. You Matero boys are an ill mannered lot!
I think it is possible to put a counter argument across without smearing it with all the sickening insults one can think of.
It is almost a month now since inter-company took place we have not heared the winner of a disputed results in a walk rece of 6.7km. Mr president answer public to the gentleman’s complaint that the person that come out number one did actually not win, he he was in a normal sense running. We all saw it on tv. ZAAA President and your vice.If you are a man of integrity that you call yourself the results should not have been anounced until you varify the person that won.
I wish to thank Teta for the courage. I really do not understand why pipo can’t understand what Teta said. He does not wish any thing bad for the big man instead he is showing care and concern as work is too much for the President. Pipo of Zambia lets be realistic if at all we love our Head of state, Lets not pretend, Be real!!!
I can not agree any more than what chimutengo has said. For the first time Teta has said some sense from that mounth. I am waiting for Brig. Gen Miyanda to say his mind. I respect the man
my biggest question is Will the old mad come for the top job again and what is the medical advice as at now. can some specialists in the field such as Fastone Gome of St Johnes advise the close relatives to the old man the truth.
teta is right we need start moving forward….WHAT HAPPENS NOW???? …. vote for Proffesor Chirwa
Dr F Goma knows very well what is going on with LPM,but prefers to keep quiet since his stable in coma condition is in the hands of prayer.LPM will soon defeat death.Lets wait for his resurrection and all of us will go back to zed to meet him.
mulishani mwemacona bapa zed?mulefuluka ku mwenu?Mulongoti amiputula no news.
