Not any more.reason we the fans are patriotic the team is not.check our silverware record. meanwhile soccer players in Zambia are the most feted. they sleep in five star hotels, good allowances which boxers who bring honours dont even dream of. 38. Kitembeya Reprimanded; There is corruption at FAZ HQ. alot of it. THe time I was very much a soccer adminstrator I witinessed cases where if your club was selling a player over seas the officials would start putting in all sorts of spanners. At one time I took a check for FAZ’s 10% transfer share the GS refused and said I should pay in cash.The tme we had Paulsen as our National coach some former player from England influenced FAZ to pick the late Porterfield(am sure brown envelops..)This contributted to our failure to win the 1994 CAN. I notice that this love for money started after the departures of the Mtine(Tom),Phiri adminstrations. This has actually killed soccer.
