A Mpulungu man in Northern Province has mysteriously died after he allegedly “crash landed” on one of the houses in Muzabwera compound.
Local Police sources confirmed the death and named the deceased as Milanzi Sipanje, who is believed to be in his 40s.
ZANIS reports that Police said Sipanje was brought to the police station around 02:00hrs this morning (Sunday) naked, after he “crash landed” at one of the houses.
He was later charged with criminal trespass.
Sources said as police officers on duty were trying to interrogate him, Simpanje suddenly grew weak adding that the last words he uttered were only his names.[quote]
He died around 10:30 hrs as police were trying to take him to the hospital after noticing his weakness.
Police said they suspect witchcraft related activities as being the cause of his death. The victim sustained no bruises or any injuries on his body.
And police have dismissed as false, assertions from some Mpulungu residents that Sipanje died in police cells after being clobbered for failing to pay the ‘cell fee’ by one of the ‘landlords’ in the cells who are famed and notorious for making their own rules.
They said their investigations revealed that Simpanje could have died of natural causes and not as a result of beatings sustained whilst in police cells.
Hospital officials at Mpulungu district hospital also confirmed receiving Sipanje’s remains saying the body was Brought In Dead (BID) around 10:38hrs this morning.
The deceased’s body is lying in Mpulungu district Hospital awaiting postmortem.

The Police need to be investigated. Only in such a situation wll they want to point a finger at witchcraft. This is total insanity!
With oil per barrel so volatile, this is not surprising news.
Only in Zed. Hope the postmortem provides some answers.
Thats the second Air disaster we have seen. First it was Air France, and now Sipanje Airways!! The aviation industry is in problems. Any way good morning bloggers.
haha…this Guy Definately hasn’t seen any of the Terminator Movies has he…??
he was captured by aliens for some tests, and later thrown out of the UFO before zooming off to planet Mi. Zedians in Mi cannot be usefull for anything….
Some sad drama. Ninsala mu Zed eilelenga.
What’ happening in my country?
#4Ba Moze ati Sipanje airways.mwansekesha.lmao.
This guy ran out of fuel (blood) for his plane (weaved tray). Its very rare for such people found such situations to talk. The police were even lucky that he managed to tell them his names.
Zedchick #9, waseka? Ni Sipanje Airways mama. Solo flight which encountered technical problems, forcing captain Sipanje to crash land. Ejecting mechanism failed him!
BA Moze, have they recovered the blackbox yet from the scene of the accident. Besides the postmortem, the blackbox can help solve the ‘mystery death’ before the Sinjane Airways crash. Hopefully the pilot had recovered it and he went with it in the cells. We hope to hear a bit of the police and inmates convo.
#11 awe ba Moze, its almost 3 in the morning en i’m laughing out loud.mwileka bantamfye panse.
Muntuza #12, Crash site was littered with unidentifiable debrie, making it impossible to locate black box. Apparently, even debris was black! So you can imagine. Zedchick #13, sorry mama. Didnt realise it was that late.
LT, get your facts correctly. Its obvious captain Sipanje died of internal injuries. He was a very experienced Pilot with approximately 3,000 flying hours.
May be fuel finished or he tresspassed on the office of another big Airline….?
He wanted to play Spiderman but didnt practice much
TYPICAL BEMBA CHAP …
Let’s adopt Sibanje Airways as the second national carrier!
The thing is the man overflew on some body territory which had missles which brough him down. These things are very common in many parts of Zambia. He used a wrong route the only differnce between the Western Air Defence Systems and our is that the african type is done at done and in secrecy. In any case there is need to pray for such practioners of such juju to stop evil activities. Others get rich using juju such as Kambuma etc. Women in urban arears are in the habit of seeing traditioners practioners for love portions, promotions, general lucky, warmth and men for vigar (mutoto) etc.
He must have trespassed on the anointed house, good for him.
The Police acted unprofessionally, they exposed the man to light instead they should have kept him in a darkroom that is when he would have called for rescue from the operations centre. In future when such iccidents occur they Police should call traditional doctors to administer proper juju not caging some one in cells.
Zambezi Airlines was baptised by the fire brigade before its innaugural flight. Captain Sipanje thought that was a waste a time. The other problem with Sipanje Airlines is the dress code!!! Passengers are supposed to board the aircraft naked! Mwe bantu sure! But the flight time….awe, yena ni supersonic mwe.
Bloggers you are making me laugh early in the morning. And for sure its an air disaster. What a tragedy!
I heard such stories on my last visit to Zed but I never took them serious, now I’m reading them on LT. It’s a world of mysteries that we dwell in, like Paul said:
“we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities of power in high and low places…”.
#7 Kasiganiza mambala. Who told you its
Hunger.
That Guy can be usefull to steal Goals for Chipolopopolo
POLICE, YOU HAVE KILLED HIM BY DELAYING TAKING HIM TO HOSPITAL. WHICH WICHCRAFT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. ONE WONDERS WHERE THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS HEADING TO IF EVEN THE POLICE FORCE IS SUPERSTITIOUS.
Sipanje Airlines In-flight Regulations:
1. You are to be naked at all times whilst on board.
2. Observe total silence. Strictly no talking!
3. You shall not look at your fellow passengers’ ntwenu!
4. Strictly no praying!
5. You are to carry your own food
#29 ba Moze mwansekesha sana! You seem to have a broad knowledge about sipanje airlines.Have u ever boarded one?
Is this one of those scripts from the Nigerian Movies, Ba Moze Waht do you think.
iyi yikali zoona! The guy was just obeying the rules of an air crush which are that when you crush, chances should be close to 100% of dying! Cell fee? Ya how iyi? Pali innovation pa zed ka!
#25 Nine Chale, well said my brother. True exhibition of what our world is made of. If anyone was in doubt of evil and good forces, well, Sibanje has done it for you. It’s a not a movie – it’s pa zed reality show.
Witchcraft in northern province now become popular even collecting debts they use witchcrafts. These underdeveloped Bembas are embarrassing our country 🙁
#34
Not only Bembas live in Northern Province.
Milanzi Sipanje or Simpanje is definitely not a Bemba name!
One Zambia One Nation! – No to tribalism!
this airline is great……in 3 minutes you are in USA? but the regulations are just too hard ,,,,,you have to be naked, dont look at your friend’s NTWENU, awe yakosa coz ngana wikala na super girl mhhhhhh bane…..me I can look at her NTWENU.
Kambongolo iwe, looking at your friends ntwenu puts the whole flight in jeopardy! It can crash. Strictly no looking please!!
Ba Honey, this is no script! This is real. Sipanje Airways is no myth.
Shumuchita panono, Wilaseka mudala. Abena Captain Sipanje ma men! There is just something he didnt do right, Am trying to figure it out!
Ba Moze , This guy forgot to mix something into the meds
Ba Honey, you could be right. So many things could have gone wrong. Wrong altitude, wrong dress code (bafwele underpant), balishipula (3000 flying hours can take its toll, ka) etc… Olo ukukolwa!!! You board this airline at your own risk. Techakwesha mama!!
Ba Moze, i think this guy was supposed to get on the ka plane by back to front and the plane was supposed to move side ways, not the normal way. he was also supposed to fly upside down , so if one of these go wrong , expect disastet
flying wizards should be handled well so that they can share those airborne secrets. British Airways who?
The man might have mis calculated the amount of Human blood, he need for the entire flight,
The fuel run out before he could refuel.or land
Ba Moze, may be the fuel tank was licking, but the man was so busy , he failed to notice.
May I know the reaction from his relatives, wife and children. How far from his home/mud hurt distance to the accident area? why clothes out? any passenger inside? Was he returning from his mission or shortly after take off?
I think he was overspeeding
umukamba sipanje ni ndoshi..awe kwena aviation becoming dangerous.aleya mukolowa pa nsala… hahahahahahahahah!!!!
