The New Generation Party (NGP) has urged Zambians to let

government decided on how best the privatization of ZAMTEL should be handled.

NGP President Humphrey Siulapwa says government has the mandate from the people to make decision on ZAMTEL.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Siulapwa said Zambians should not be defensive and confrontational on the issue of ZAMTEL.

Mr. Siulapwa said ZAMTEL has continued to make losses hence the need for the people to let government to privatize the firm.

The NGP President said the privatization of ZAMTEL was inevitable adding that what matters was how the privatization was going to be managed.

He said Zambians should offer alternative solutions on how best the government could handle the privatization of ZAMTEL.

Meanwhile, Mr. Siulapwa condemned the shooting and the use of live bullets on Copperbelt University students where Cornelius Mwape, a CBU student, was shot and wounded by police.

He said there was need for the Police Service to produce a comprehensive report on the matter.

Mr. Siulapwa said the Police officer involved in the shooting of Cornelius Mwape must be prosecuted.

And Mr. Siulapwa also condemned the violence on Journalists by some Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) cadres.

He said violence against journalists by some MMD cadres was unfortunate.

  1. This f.o.o.l is at it again. He comments on anything and yet the fool understands nothing. Who can tell this illiterate thug to shut up please!!! We are fed up of his nonssense. Yesterday he was quarelling with nurses, tomorrow he is talking about Zamtel, what does he know about any of these issues? Just because Chiluba used to shout nonsense and became President, this fella also thinks he can shout nonsense and become one. What a directionless nation mwebantu please!!

  2. This chap is desperate for a job in Rupiah’s cabinet. Probably he is already on the payroll as one of the ghost workers.

  3. Look at his lips, it is either he drinks the illicit brew Kachasu or he smokes dagga very badly. Either way, he is not a normal human being. Why do people even tolerate his nonsense anyway? In our student days, we could have taught him crooks law and shanted him into Goma Lakes. Abash anarcho syndicalisma! Abash fake imposters, abash, Abash macho imposters!!ABASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was true viva UNZASU and NOT the dilluted, corrupted students unions of today. Too bad for mother Zambia – no emerging visionaries!!!

  5. Be level headed and have a balanced view of life and its dynamics. The way some bloggers rant, it is like they are under the influence of SRH due to prolonged drought. SRP = Sperm Retention Headache.

  6. look at this boy for god sake can anybody tell him shut his mouth up,
the problem he take too much kwanze or shakes ,or chibuku, coz every time that he talks he talk kwanze

  7. It is quite annoying to have bloggers like Senior Citizen who see no sense in anything but keep ranting nonsense. Which planet are you from baddy? And what food do these MMD thugs feed you? You surely don’t consume the food grown by our hardworking people, do you? If you did, just a few grains of well grown beans would have improved your reasoning capacity beyond what you are exhibiting in your postings. Anyway, please sit back and reflect as you are making a mockery of yourself in every posting thereby losing the little respect people had for you. May be we should call you Senior Nonsense.

  8. Senior Citizen wamvela, #9 akamba vazoona. Get proper orientation and positioning before commenting on any subject matter, and indeed you avoid irritating well meaning bloggers.

  10. i READ 1 ARTICLE WHERE NKANDU LUO SUGGESTED GOVT STARTS BY CHANGING MANAGEMENT OF ZAMTEL AND IF NO IMPROVEMENT THEN THE GOVT CAN GO AHEAD AND SELL ZAMTEL. TO ME THAT SOUNDS MORE REASONABLE THAN QUICKLY RUSHING TO SELL

  11. In the world of opportunism people like siulapwa thrive.the more he talks in favour of the goverment the more he gets money in his pockets.ni sangwapo chabe.

  12. This siulapwa guy whats up with red lips? he looks totally disoriented. Who made him president of this nonsense anyway?

  13. BA LT this topic of Zamtel is stale. We all know that no matter how much rattling we do no matter what wisdom we pump into these God forsaken MMD’S nothing will change their mind. Lets move on and please bring on another topic. The sale is a done deal and most likely the money has been shared already. This country is one big joke

  14. How is his son renamed LPM, doing with the new Name , this guy is serious abomination of the worst case. I dont know why our country is cursed with such embiciles

  15. The Intelligentia #4 you’ve made my evening. You’ve reminded me of the good old KK days and ci UNZASU ciyasha. Lol

  16. LT stop wasting paper, ink and time by covering this sick-looking knuckle head. His wooflings have never made sense ever since I knew he existed.

  17. No invetsor will buy Zamtel at $200million. Who would want to buy a company that has constantly been making loses in 5 years, does not enjoy a huge market share in its industry and owes $200million in debt. No investors can invest in zambia unless they will generate more than 100% in profit. This MMD government does not really know how to make use of their brain cells.

  18. This crazy guy is always opening his month. IF RB talks about Feases he will still be infavuor. Are you NORMAL YOUNG MAN.

  19. THIS STUPID FOOL WHAT DOES HE THINK HE IS AND AM SURPRISED THAT HE HAS EVEN PEOPLE IN HIS SO CALLED PARTY….I THOUGHT NOT LONG AGO HE WAS SAYING THAT RB HAD DUPED HIM …AM SURE KWACHA YAYAMBA UKUTONA NOMBA. BUT YOU ARE SUCH A YOUNG FOOL WAKE UP PEOPLE MUST NOT USE YOU SILLY FOOL…..what is wrong with you Siulapwa young man?

  20. No 18 what good KK days are talking about. You think if they were good days people would have risen against the Govt and cried for change, good days my foot. Things were bad and there was no hope. Things kept moving from bad to worse and thats why there were those riots and thats how we managed to get the change although the process was mismanaged

  21. No.16 the Zamtel issue is not stale. The likes of you give up and are defeated so easily. You don’t know how to fight to the last drop for right cause. We can’t just give up and let this Govt sell our national asset after interfering in its operation and milking it for their polical activities. Let them pay all their bills and let the MD/ boss of Zamtel be appointed on merit and not a political appointee who is subservient to their whims. Lets all rise and fight against this evil decision, lets protest march etc.

  22. You fools have no respet for anyone. With most of you blogers corrupting our nation for no reasone. Just for being Lazy. You think you can do better then whats stoping you. [FEAR OF BEING CRITISIZED, AND YOUR INTELLIGENCE BEING TESTED] Im 15 years old and realize that the older man of out nation do no no of what they speak of. Don’t be afriad of advancesing or change but be terrified of being comfortable and no emprovment. There is no room for more illiterate people. But there will always be much room for emprovment in our nation.
    Much respects to President Siulapwa.
