Mr. Jere said President Banda will, while in Northern Province also inspect the Kasama-Mbala and Mpulungu Road which is being rehabilitated.

The President is first expected to pay a courtesy call on Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba people at his palace before embarking on his official programme.

President Banda will be accompanied by Tourism Minister Catherine Namugala, Agriculture Minister Dr. Brian Chituwo and Lands Deputy Minister Michael Mabenga who is also MMD National Chairman.

  1. Forget about the Kasama seat. Give us the bribes, we will take them, but we won’t give you the vote, labeniko fye. Just continue with your Ndeke based State House. Or should I say State duties based in an aeroplane. Ninshi tasha fulile lilya mwalesambilila ku Sweden and when you were an ambassador? Ala tulaponya limo limo uto tuntu uto.

  2. In today’s Post, Minister Of sports Kenneth chipungu reacting to Hanif Adams’ resination as Chairman NSCZ said,” I BELIEVE THIS IS THE CHARACTER DEMANDED FROM LEADERS IN THE 21st CENTURY, STEPPING DOWN WHEN UNABLE. WITH THIS EXAMPLE, I WISH TO ADVISE ALL PRESIDENTS IN SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS WHO CANT CONTAIN WITH DEMANDS OF THIER JOBS TO STEP DOWN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPORT.” I wish this guy had directed these words at his fellow cabinet members not just fellas in sports administration. What a good country Zambia would be. A leader just checks, he cant do it, ‘bang’ he resigns.

  3. there is nothing wrong with someone resigning from their post, there are reasons that mede him to make such a decision , it would be sad if he stayed in the job knowing he is not doing anything to improve it.

  4. Nensoni iyo. When there are elections that’s when they want to implement their programs. People have come to know your cheap politics. Kasama is not Chitambo. Don’t forget that!!

  5. lets see how the pact will do in Kasama. RB knows very well that he cant take the Kasama sit. However he believes if MMD can loose by very small margins in PF strongholds then the party will be said to be sending the right massages to the opposition. its a question of win them by big margins and win by smaller ones. come first where they come third and come second where they comes first. If the Pact wins by a landslide in kasama then MMD will get the massage. if they win by a small margin then iam afraid they might as well disband.

  6. Safe Trip our Beloved His Excellency President Ruphia Bwezani Banda. We shall always rally behind you

  7. JACK MICHEALSON, DONT MAKE ME BREAK MY RIBS WITH LAUGHTER. THE EASIEST I WOULD WISH HAPPENS IS JUST SOME SERIOUS STROKE. THAT CAN DO. WHAT DO THINK?

  8. Ever on the move, whatever is accomplished from these trips. Why should the whole lot of the President inspect repair works of a simple road? Cost-Benefit analysis o these trips is needed.

  9. He’s just going there Ku chimpwena? Please blogs, forgive him he has nothing to do, Its better he goes for window shopping in kasama than making speeches meant for grade ones.

  10. You are doing a very good Job our beloved president. We like you so much

  11. The legace of LPM haunts him in office. He goes out to consult chiefs and elders on the issue. He has been everywhere but Dr. Congo. He has been advised to fight hard and meet Obama if the legacy is to stop haunting him.

  12. #10 &11,I think you guys need to grow up and have a heart.Plane crash or stroke could happen to you before it does to anyone else.I do not roll with RB policies but i have none but Love since he is our President.

  13. Kasama is not Chitambo, well put John Doe @ #6. Votes there are not for sale or exchange with sugar or mealie meal and ugly MMD chitenge. Go GBM, go!!! MMD meet GBM Inc. Here is one who will give you a run for your money. He will meet you dollar-for-dollar. SInce it is only the language of bribery you understand, let’s goooooooooooooo!

  14. Kasama bye election is just by the corner. We know the tricks of yours. When is Teta dying?

  15. You mean every time you build a bridge across a stream you will be flying over to commission it? These vote-catching tactics may work for you in Chitambo. Not in Kasama! Try and take Shikapwasha with you to Kasama and let him meet the Catholics he has been insulting and see what will become of both you and him.

  16. Why is the president taking ith him the minister of tourism?? What is “touristic” about opening a road or something?

  17. if you are going to lobby for votes mr RB from chief CHITIMULU, please forget because we havent forgeten the fake promises you made last october.you promised bwalya chiti the position of vice president which never came, free fertiliser uptodate.mind you this is not chitambo . anyway we shall meet in kasama central
