Government Uncovers Plot: What Plot?

Share

Home Affairs Minister Lameck Mangani
Home Affairs Minister Lameck Mangani

Lameck Mangani’s recent claim that the government has unearthed a scheme in which some prominent Zambians and some diplomats accredited to Zambia are conspiring to destabilize Zambia is a scam and an embarrassment to the people of Zambia.

Such a claim tells us volumes about the caliber of some of the current crop of government leaders. It is a clear depiction of the shallowness of some of our leaders.

The allegation that some diplomats accredited to Zambia are conspiring with citizens to destabilize the country is a very serious matter. It would be understandable if it was an MMD riff-raff who had made such an allegation, not a government Minister responsible for Home Affairs, even if such an allegation had any merit at all.

What Zambians expect from the Minister—and other Ministers as a matter of fact–is to get the police and other investigative organs of the government to investigate his suspicions thoroughly. If the findings of such an investigation confirm his suspicions, the government can seek to prosecute Zambian citizens involved in the alleged plot through the existing legal channels. And rather than rushing to the media to castigate the diplomats, a sensible government would logically write to the home governments of the diplomats involved for their action if their diplomats are found to be wanting.

It is not in the interest of any one for the Minister to unashamedly alarm the nation with unfounded allegations of a conspiracy to destabilize the country. If there is any truth to his allegations, why can’t he name the individuals involved?

Making such a serious claim without naming the culprits can only lead to rumor-mongering and mistrust among the citizenry. President Rupiah Banda needs to caution his Ministers against making such reckless allegations. If they do not have anything important to tell the people, they would do well just to shut up than to continue to embarrass us.

  1. yaba! some of these guys in this Govt. banazipezamo chabe ka! now i understand “leaders are born not made”, well if it takes one to be made into a leader then pafunika SERIOUS grooming! coz these chaps are taking us for granted shaa!

  2. Our inept government is now showing signs of paranoia because they have nowhere to hide. The only risk of embarrassment faced is a result of their own incompetence.

  3. Henry this is what happens when leadership lose direction. Since the man went, a lot of plonkers have issued statements some of which I agree are serious. The man has no control and when he is gone each MMD member is his own boss. Circus pa Zed!

  4. Kicks of a dying horse? Desperate animals seeing shadows from their potty bellied bodies as enemies. Prepare to rejoin us in Mandevu insteady of telling lies that you cannot back up.

  5. Lets wait and see who is bluffing here…..since when has GRZ given names on such sensitive issues…? You chaps rushing to pass useless comments are manifesting HIGH levels of ignorance and petty politiking. You think the minister with the entire shushushu dept at his disposal can just wake up and say stuff that is not real? GROW UP….!

  6. MANGANI NICHIPUBA MANINGI…JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO THESE SAME CHAPS IN GOVT WERE PLEADING WITH DONORS WHO HAD THREATENED TO WITHDRAW AID IN THE MoH…THEY WANT TO USE DONORS & DIPLOMATS LIKE PROSTITUTES OR DISPOSABLES LIKE IN MAMPI’S SONG HUH!

  7. Zambia One. You are part of that group called shu shu shu. Cowards who are going to have their tails between their legs when dealing with foreigners. Instead of them doing the so called shushushu job, they go to ask for favours. When dealing with a local it`s tails up. What shushushu? Name them and shame them! Their governments will then recall them. As for those Zambians, how about locking them up with out trial or cases against them? Kafupi set the precedence with KK.

  8. Zambia One. ” You think the minister with the entire shushushu dept at his disposal can just wake up and say stuff that is not real? GROW UP….!”. So expect us to believe the shushushu have some sort of info when you people don`t want the people of Zambia to know that the whole Kafupi aquittal stinks? Yet again you are showing true colours of an African!

  9. here in the first place did Mangani come from to land this senior cabinet portfolio? You bet its because he hails from kumbwa kumodzi with Banda, otherwise no sane president in their right frame of mind can appoint such pathetic riff-raff to cabinet. Only the other day, Shikapwasha said diplomats did not say anything against Chiluba’s acquittal, now this Mangani ***** is saying this, I wonder who is in change of this government! Anyway, a wise monkey passed its verdict, at a news conference.

  10. Henry-Top class article! zambia one go on, choke on it fool…roll your tongue in and dance to this tune…HONK HONK HONK

  11. The ignorance of Kyambalesa as a internet party President despite being in the US is alarming.Such are chaps who even when they are told empirically umukashi obe ni njuga he will still push for a media line to dispel it.He thinks Red Brick is paid for nothing.

  12. What does this Kyambalesa know about vundu and operations other than book theories and dressing himself Presidential titles of a blog party? Solwezi where he comes from has opened up for November 19th yet his addiction is the blog.

  13. From 2006 to last year we had Hichilema spending too much of his time blogging and even challenging my Husband President Sata that he is more popular according to blog threads hence would carry 2008 elections. From 2001-2006 we had Godfrey Miyanda blogging daily and now overtaken by this Kyambalesa of the Agenda for Change Blog party.

  14. A good administration is one with a head who knows what to do and disciplines indisciplined chaps like ManganI. If you all recall, Levy fired both Nevers Mumba and Derrick Mbita Chitala for exactly such kind of gaffle political S T U P I D I T Y. By the way, Vernon Mwaanga looks scary, what manner of mashala is troubling him? You be it is one derived from “kulya mabelo”. As for Mr. Dr. Lazo Frederick Jabob Titus Mpundu Kafupi Chiluba, the days are numbered. That Chinyama Jones’ verdict was hand written is clear testament that he was prevailed upon by Kanitundila, Mlongoti is witness to this.

  15. Its certain that the likes of Lameck Mangani have no capacity of leadership qualities to hold such important and sensetive position such as Home Affairs. The Govt has at its disposal comptent investagative wings who work day and night gathering information on the ground and its surprising that wild allegations are being made. It has become fashionable for leaders to both ruling and opposition rushing to press on any subject without getting independent confirmation. Such allegations will scare away would be investors. Please lets learn to kip Zee if there is nothing worthwile to discuss.

  16. I urge all Diplomats to stand up and protest against this serious allegation and demand that govt gives out the name of this Diplomat. Don’t generalise or speak mu mwela, give names and govt take action. What does Zambia have? There can never be a Scramble for Zambia by Donors unless we had Oil or other high value Minerals, not copper!

  17. The heart of the matter is the NGO Bill. This will choke the flow of funds to individuals in these NGOs and the cuts that diplomatic officials receive from the so called donations and grants. And they have the audacity to accuse others of corruption instead. Government should not take this matter lightly, cutting off anybody’s source of livelihood can and does induce violent reactions. These people will protect their turf at all costs, I mean AT ALL COSTS as we are about to see. Red brick and government, if ever we needed you this is the time.

  18. Ladies & gents, the donor community should just shut up & concentrate on giving us what they stole from us, plus we never comment on what hapens in their countries! Am amazed at certain sections of society (membe & his cohorts) who want to aplaud the judicial system when it acquits them & when it doesnt they go round makn noise because in their kangaroo court justice is only served when they agree with the verdict! Fellow bloggers lets not be used in membes private war!

  19. Whats baffling about this whole issue is that one day shikapwasha says no one from the diplomatic community said what was reported in the media, next we hear that the same diplomats who are purpoted to not have said anything are today being accused of plotting against the mmd, no consistency at all, next some government official says no part was played by the goervernment in chilubas acquital, again somebody comes out and says that its costly to jail kafupi, some people should be jailed while some should go free.there are some stupid people who believe this drivel like senior citizen, alcapone, zambia one and many more out there, but i for one and and those going to HONK are not stupid at all

  20. I agree with # 6 Zambia One, the Minister cant jus wake up an say such sensitive issues if u insiste i cn blow th trumpet Dannish Ambassador is involved,if ths is why there give us DEAD AID to control us in such a way whn thr say Govtment move we move Govtment run we run ths is Bull Sh**t there are ar thns Govt wants to take decision based in the interest of the nation which cn be classified as TOP GOVT SECRETS even in america there thns tht are classified as top secrets we hav nt demanded to know them,so pliz zambians lets nt waste our energy instead we should pressure govt to create employment an improve the economy an achieve economical growth in critical areas such as Agriculture,Minning,Tourism etc.

  21. SmothCriminal if it ws those days of slave Trade i thnk u wud have been chief exporter of ur people bcoz u cease to amaze me HONK for wht whn the courts of law have found chiluba with no case to be jailed bt u go in thes streets an make noise anyway may be u have enough for ur family tht u have tht time. zambians lets be fair chiluba was removed his immunity after ur pressure by NGOs called Oasis Forum and he ws taken to court and the verdict has been passed wht do we need now, pliz lets be objective zambians nt subjective like Mmembe anyway pipo lik smoth criminal are just blind followers analyse thns before ur involvement this NGOs are feeding there family by makin noise with hefty allowances from the Donors anyway Ba smoth criminal we pity u.

  22. #6 & 24, you are proving to be the most dangerous in terms of lack of knowledge about the so called shushushu’s. If i tell you, our intelligence is lacking behind since the struggle for freedom some years back. What we have are now bootlickers who are there just to smear dirt at any one the ruling party deems an enemy. You must remember that we had the ZERO option, created by the same MMD chaps to slap dirt on the UNIP guys. It has not worked and remember that time they said a bomb expert died because the bomb blasted at the airport, did you hear of any funeral held in honor of the said bomb diffusion expert? what we have are cowards in the name of ministers. all they want is to run to the press to be heard that they made a statement. the latest one is the zambian airways saga, we were…

  23. told that mmembe has stolen 30 million dollars, up to now mmembe is still walking the dirty streets of lusaka. hope this rings a big bell in your waxed ears.

  24. this chap is so dull and not careful with his tongue..lets have people that are serious leaders and can unite the nation in times of crises!VIVA pact!!!

  25. #25, the court ladder ends at the supreme courts in terms of the nation but we can go as far as the ICJ but there its basically nations or hard core criminals or suspects who have been implicated in causing injury or injustice to humanity local and across borders. so when you say chiluba has been found with no case to answer you must have in mind kashiwa bulaya who was found with no case to answer but where is he now? zambians have shallow memories and this cancer will wipe some of you out leaving us behind. yes chiluba is very much entitled to freedom but let the court process be exhausted.

  26. As an experienced diplomat RB should understand the serious ramifications such reckless utterances – from a minister of state – could have.

  27. # 26 Ur views are worrying . bt let me tell u ths zambian airways issue there ws financial engineering,Fraud why were there running th company on debts ZRA.NAPSA we know ths guys Bane Mutembo and Mmembe thr had a deal with th late Mwanawasa thts why thr fought hard tht Bashi chilufya lost elections to mwanawasa I hate ba post there think there clean. We need tht money back pliz Ba Zambian Airways an ordinally person jst delay in payin VAT u be on him wht so special abt ths embacile called Mutembo and Mmembe.

  29. IG, chiluba was found with no case to answer and you and evry zambian know exactly why he has no case, its common knowledge,it was going to be costly to jail him,not everyone hates chiluba and infact some people should go to jail while others shouldn, simple,my arguments are based on facts, shikapwasha said it was a lie about what was writtene about the diplomats, mangani said they are conniving, who is being economical with the trueth, can you base your arguments on these simple factors i have just outlined, and please can you type with both hands, take off the other one from yo pants!!! HONK HONK HONK

  30. Congratulations Henry. Your article is one of the few intelligent aticles I have personally encountered on this blog. Hats off to YOU KYAMBALESA. Great man yourself. Keep it up.

  31. smothcriminal chikale etole HONK HONK lets hope water we be supplied for tht whistle for 10 minutes everyone has a opinion so based on th facts mangani and shkapwasha have personal opinnion, imwe bashkale ba smoth criminal when ur beaten dnt complain by MMD cadres bcoz those attempt against our former Head of State we shall fight back if u won th third term battle ths is one ur mistaken.

  32. Some of you should wake up and smell the coffee! Zambia is a democartic country and unless you know what this means, you will always be ignorant and show your ignorance to the whole world by making ignorant comments. God has blessed every human being with a brain, so some of you should start using them and thinking for yourselves, instead of always following the likes of Shikapwasha, Mulongoti and Mangani blindly! For heaven’s sake, wake up!

  33. Peoples caribre are waighed on what they say in public and to the public. The minister had nothing to say but was in a hurry to make news.Dont take his statement serious just consider his calibre…

  34. @ 22 Natalie and 24 IG you must be part of Rbs nepolistictentacles planted in embasis abroad. The Majority of Zambians know, saw and heard about FJTs stealing and are unhappy that he seems to be getting off the hook. You might as well say don’t harass Henry Kapoko.
Zambia has nothing to intreast western embasies. 50 % of our pipo depend on begged money from those same embasis. What will they want with zambia execpt dismay at how their donations are being stolen.?. Shushushu ? Pleas. The same shushushu who can be bought to spring a muder suspect from jail. Without the Post newspaper, corruption in zambia would have permiated to house hold kitchens. You must thank the Post.

  35. We are not fools. We saw, we know FJT plundered. every goverment in the world knows FJT stole. We want justice. To day i will park in front of the zambian embassy and honk.

  36. THIS BOY HENRY KYAMBALESA WHAT EVER THEY CALL HIM, WHO DOES HE REPRESENT? IS HE AN LT BLOGGER OR REPORTER OR EDITOR? WHAT IS HIS LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND WHICH UNIVERSITIES DID HE ATTEND IF ANY? WHAT IS HIS FIELD OF PROFESSION? WHAT GIVES HIM CREDIBILITY? OF LATE I HAVE BEEN SEEING AND READING ARTICLES BY HIM AND I HAVE BEEN VERY UNIMPRESSED WITH HIS ONE SIDED ARGUMENTS AND POOR CONCLUSIONS. HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN HIS WRITING SKILLS. ANYWAY THANKS LT FOR GIVING SPACE EVEN FOR TIME WASTERS AND I. D. 1. 0. T. S. HENRY WE KNOW WHERE U STAND. 37. IG shikapwasha, mulongoti and mangani are government representatives, what they say is not an opinion,,,,and who says you need water to HONK..yangu tata lesa,i should have realised im arguing with a retard,im done with you, bring that other imbecile senior citizen or alcapone

  38. Henry in paragraph 3 says ” it would be understandable if it was an MMD riff raff that made the statement………” It is an MMD riff raff, how else would you describe Mangani and the likes of Shikapwasha, Mulongoti, Mabenga etc. The calibre of our leadership is very low indeed, embarassing actually.

  39. Mangani and RB are serious lunatics. The terriblly rinkled ***** is busy globe trotting and has no idea what his stupid ministers are doing to embarrase him. Anyway has he even got the capacity to get embarrased??? Cry my beloved country.

  40. Ba KC when ur married an ur brother gives u money to sustain u and ur childrens ar u tellin me tht ur brother has the power to control ur affairs in ur hom? ths is wht the Donnors are doin cn u answer me pliz.

  41. Goodmorning everyone
I’m truly worried about the state of things in Zambia. There seems to be no sense of responsibilty in the country at all. How do you honestly release such an alarming statement as a Minister of Home Affairs if it’s not verified? If it were here in Germany, the man would be under pressure from all sides to step down. However, in Zambia such characters are probably even proud to be “the biggest show in politics”.

  42. He said “there are certain things MMD members have to sacrifice for them to be battle-ready” Quote.

We are live to the task

“I am, therefore, not going to tolerate extravagant public debates on issues we can best discuss internally as MMD party leadership,” he said.

Dr Kalumba said MMD’s resolve on choosing Mr Banda as candidate for 2011 must not be compromised at this point.
“We need to cycle our wagons, you are either MMD or you are not.

You are either with us or against us, because this is for the survival of not only MMD but the country,” he said.
And Dr Kalumba said he has spoken to Mr Mpombo and Mr Magande and reasoned with them.

  43. MMD exposes opposition plot

Party national secretary Katele Kalumba has advised MMD members and leaders to be alert and not be misled.
“This is a battle cry to members to be alert because campaigns for the 2011 elections have started.

Let no-one be misled because what we are seeing today in terms of the political scenario is a well orchestrated strategy to unseat the MMD,” he said.
Dr Kalumba said this strategy is largely built on attempts to divide the party and create an impression that it is collapsing.

He said this group of opposition politicians wants to entice individual members and leaders into defections, and mislead leaders into taking up causes that are ill-conceived, including critical and…

  44. Dr Kalumba said this clique of politicians wants to alienate organs of Government from political leaders of government, and is also financing interest groups of varied forms as vehicles upon which opposition politics can be built against the MMD.

He said this group further wants to ride on the dis-enchanted anti-National Constitutional Conference elements to foster this campaign against the MMD.

“I believe that the signals are clear that this is a battle for regime change which is being fed on an argument that MMD has overstayed and needs to be changed, regardless of the will of the Zambian people,” he said.

Dr Kalumba said there is a deliberate effort to undermine what the Zambian government has achieved, including its economic and political stability.

  45. “I would like to call upon MMD members and all patriotic Zambians to know that we ignore this signal at our own peril.

We need to cycle the wagons as Zambians and address our challenges as Zambians, bearing in mind our strategic and vital national interests,” he said.
He said there are certain things MMD members have to sacrifice for them to be battle-ready.

You are either with us or against us, because this is for the survival of not only MMD but…

  46. Buffonery at it’s ultimate.
The only connivence that has taken place recently is the dubious acquittal of that petty little thief Chiluba. This governments knack for conjuring up incredible conspiracy theories is not only legendary but a sign of the stupefaction in thier ranks and it requires they leave, fast!

  47. Ok Mangani, arrest them and see where you will get the next aid for you to steal. Nonsensical kind of leadership !

  48. #54 Believe me Zambians and donors are not pissed off that FTJ did not go to jail but by the fact that the Govt wants to impose on us that he DID NOT STEAL. Even if he was found guilty and sentenced to a day or less in prison whether he spent it there or not wouldnt have riled us more than to be told that the LAZO didnt steal. FTJ IS A THIEF !

  49. I suppose Kalumba can see all these things on his “special” laptop!! What nonesense! How can the adoption of RB be a matter of survival for MMD and Country? Leadership within MMD are so power hungry they have taken their eye off the ball. Many political analysts i think would agree with me that the biggest threat to RB and Co is not necessarily internal (to MMD). They should be more worried about the electorate and the opposition parties. Adopting RB will ENSURE that they lose the general election. Instead of posturing and flexing muscles they should turn the threats from Mpombo, Magande etc into strengths if they want to win. MMD are losing power not only because they have poor leadership, but their strategy lacks political sophistication.

  50. Simon,

What strategy do you have that has helped the opposition over the last 18 years of MMD? Why has it taken you 18 years in futile struggles if you understand politic strategy and what is that strategy anyway if you have any?

  51. Ewe # 56 if u happened to be in venezuela u wud have seen with such hypocris of sidin with ths Devils called Donors, post,NGOs.Can the Donors leave us alone ths pipo hav commited crimes in iraq but who has said Bush should be taken to ICC and Blair.

  52. It’s absurd for Mangani,Shikapwasha n VJ to link what every Zambian knows as a Chiluba acquittal orchestrated by RB and the MMD government connived with the Judiciary to the diplomats trying to destabilise a country that is slowly going to the “dogs”. There’s no way diplomats will allow their peoples taxpayers money being misused corruptly to turn a blind eye on it. You threaten the diplomats, you stop begging. If indeed diplomats are working with patriotic Zambians like the NGO’s who have shown from the past that they work more effective than any opposition party because of their non-partisan status, so be it and bravo to them. This culture of myopic threats by silly Ministers on issues that are straight forward is only building tension in the country. Appeal against Chiluba, period.

  53. Oh, oh, unearthing plots and setting aside K5 billion kwacha for riot gear!!! Well we now know where this is going. The makings of a fat greedy dictator and his eunuch men without cojones minions! This just stinks. I’m not voting MMD never have. MMD cannot be supported, this is just scary now. There’s no other option but the opposition we have. MMD is full of oafs saying yes to everything that lame predient says to line their pockets. If I was a soldier I would stage a peaceful coup monitor the elections and make sure the right person won. These *****s are going to be the reason for instability in Zambia. They are winding up people so much as to incite violence, blame the opposition, arrest the leaders and then theyre’ll be no Sata, Scott and Hichilema at the elections…

  54. This chap needs alangizi. He just yaps like little mulongoti. After this planned demo by NGOs and civil society, the Bwezani cronies are now running like headless chickens. He is a joke of a minister.

  55. Banamuchosa kuti uyu? Just where did we get this sc um bag from? The issue here is the govt meddling in the judicial system. There are no conspiracies, only the conspiracy to hijack the constitution by MMD thugs

  56. PF is winning in kasama.MMD will win is solwezi. 2011 MMD will remain in goverment.simple reason.THERE IS NO REVOLUTION IN ZAMBIA.

  57. Managani is just retaliating using the diplomats’ own modus oparandi. That is talking to Fred Mmembe instead of laid down channels. From hence forth RB and all future leaders should guard against the wholesale of our country.

  58. Well he was just instruced to say what he said. Is that not what some of you mindless drones do, just to get a pay check. lets be real. Blogging does not win elecions…notin this life time.

  59. #41 I agree with you and wonder also why LT have given this Internet Party President front page coverage on an article that is one sided and looks like a letter to the Editor. Anyway we know that LT is a mouth piece of PF and that explains why most people here can’t reason but just know how to insult. Typical PF signature. And we shall never forget the way they covered PF’s last rally in Lusaka in 2008 with lots of pictures and for MMD they just did one campaign picture and nice you lost and it lost like you just want to discredit the MMD in the minds of voters, but that would not happen becuase they voters don’t listen to INTERNET parties and they don’t live on the INTERNET. Watch us grab Kasama in two weeks time.

  60. 59 Kaseba, You address me as if i have been in opposition for 18 yrs, so allow me to correct that misconception. I supported MMD ideals which ushered them in 1991, unfortunately the party, and democratic and reform drive has been highjacked by the likes of the people we have in power. Despite the fact that LPM was elected under controversial circumstances, i had no major problem with him being in power as long as the key macro economic variables were stabilised, and there seemed to be some sincerity re the corruption clean-up. To answer your question, the opposition dont need much of a strategy if MMD play into their hands. It is MMD who need a strategy because RB is destroying all they had to shout about. To answer your question rhetorically, what strategy will the Tories in UK have now

  61. 76 continued: that they did not have for the past 12 yrs of labour government? Or the democrats in the US for 8 yrs before Clinton came in, and before Obama came an wrestled power from the Republicans? Look at who were the incumbents and the publics perception of them.

  62. It is not surprising. We know them very well. “Niba ‘chumbu munshololwa’ or tikabe ati ‘ba munshebwa'” like the Bembas say.

  63. Can some tell me why our so called leaders cant emulate born leaders like Barak Obama? The level of buffoonary is just astounding!

  64. Simon what you are saying is 100% true but Zambians have become so much in love with money. They know that all you need is sing false praises for the President and you will be driving a posh vehicle tommorow. Agree with what ever the President says and wants and youi will get an appointment. To them Zambia is just an imaginary Island. They dont care about whats, ifs, whens, whys and hows as long as they are able to live the luxry life.

  65. the phrase “dark corner meetings” I haven’t heard since the 1980s in the time of mushala, south african spies, “hoarding” etc. Maybe we are heading back to drinking tip-top…

  66. Woods and IG. Can you not agree to disagree in a mature fashion. Hurling insults at each others parents is not only disrespectful to your parents, but it is a very childish way of resolving conflict.

  67. There is an email doing the rounds titled “TheLondon Judgement – what’s the fuss all about”. I assume this is the plot because it accuses Mark Chona, Magande, Mpombo. Norweigen, Swedish & British. It even claims Judge Peter Smith is a well known clown and “ill”. It is a seriously pro Government position document and end with …..You might plot and plan but no one knows what tomorrow brings.

  68. ‘Zambia One’, ‘IG’, ‘Natalie’, ‘I write what I like’, and ‘MMD Chief Bootlicker’ you are all just thick, but no thicker than RB, Kunda, Mangani, Mulongoti, Shikapwasha and the rest. No run along and go **** yourselves or lick **** what ever it is that makes you happy.

  69. Woods an th post are one i hav told ths chap simon tht wht are demonstrating about bcoz FJT was acquited on th cases that led muwewele to strip his immunity, bcoz of th same people in the name of oasis forum even if the DPP was to appeal today an th case goes to high court ths guys wont stop to champion there Hatred against our former Head of State, thts why ths is bull sh**t.

  70. 91 Woods. You are a reflection of how you were raised. You can take a monkey from the bush, but you cant take the bush from the monkey. These are traits for which you have numerous reference points in our political leadership. I pity you. P.s “Stick and stones may break my bones………”

  71. #42 Henry Kyambalesa is an economic refugee who was a respected lecturer at CBU and went for his PhD in the States in 1990 and has never come back home. So you can see from his recent articles both in the Post and on LT that his only source of information is the internet which has made him lack objectivity and he shows a lot of bitterness in his articles. I wonder who has bewitched him…

  72. TO ALL THOSE I HAV OFFENDED TODAY AM ASKING FOR UR FORGIVENESS AN NT FORGETING CHIKALE WE ALL MAK MISTAKES HOP TO BE IN GOOD RAPO NEXT TIME SEE U PANYOPAKO WOODS AM OFF TO CHURCH.

  73. We reap what we sow,RB has sowed a seed which will embarrass him forever. We have to change Governement if we are to move forward.

  74. The minister is indulging in empty talk. Or perhaps it is a smoke screen to enable their riff-raff on government payroll to harass innocent people. Shame on this MMD lame ducks.

  75. I see a situation in 2011 where only any means necessary will save the poor and down trodden people of Zambia.Katele has called his MMd to arms,Zambians need to rise and use people power to bring down this draconian government. The MMD government and all its goons are not answerable to the people but instead Zambians are answerable to the MMD,this government holds Zambians to ransome.Honking is cowardice, mass protests are the only answer, like the riots of 1986 that shook UNIP from its core.

  76. Paranoid mangani again. He can’t learn to shut his foul mouth for once. That’s the problem of appointing to political position of people who never dreamt of owning a bicycle. Don’t worry Zambians, he will go back to his hut after 2011.

  77. I think Henry is right in this article. If there is any substance in the minister’s allegations, why couldn’t he name the persons involved? As Henry has said, “Making such a serious claim without naming the culprits can only lead to rumor-mongering and mistrust among the citizenry.”
I totally agree with him. I have also just finished reading an article in which Katele Kalumba is saying that “the MMD … has unearthed a strategy by some opposition political parties to unseat the ruling party by creating divisions” without giving names. There seems to be a pattern in these accusations. I wonder why …! This is positive criticism. I, therefore, wonder why some bloggers have taken up arms against the author.

  78. Just to remind the bloggers here that when Kafupi was busy plundering our assets and selling our industrial base for a song (to the “donors”), the same “donors” were quiet.

  79. I have just noticed that the guy who is posing as Kaseba Sata is actually Senior Citizen (aka Ben Kangwa). When you stay on the blogs for too long, people tend to know the language of bloggers. It is only BK who seems to have a bone to chew with the likes of HH, Sata, G. Miyanda, Kayambalesa, the PF-UPND pact, etc. We now know your language Mr Broadcaster turned MMD bootlicker.
