City Make Continental Dreams

While the race for the number 1 spot heats up, City of Lusaka are dreaming of playing in Africa next season.

4th placed City are on 39 points, six behind 3rd placed Power Dynamos with six matches left to play.

Coach Happy Sichikolo said he was focused on keeping city’s audacious dream alive to play African club competition for the first time.

“We want to win every remaining game. The people of Chilenje want their team to play continental football next year,” Sichikolo said after his side beat struggling Green Buffaloes 2-1 last Sunday in Lusaka.

In their ambitious bid to finish second, City host Forest who are in 7th place with 37 points this Saturday at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka hoping to win and stay in touch with the top four.
