Zambia this morning left for Zimbabwe ahead of Sundays Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup quarterfinal tie against Namibia in Harare.
The 20-man squad left by road with Herve Renard hoping for better fortunes after a poor 2010 qualifying series.
The highlight of the outing will see Renard unveiling almost new attacking force led by Enock Sakala and Felix Sunzu.
BARCLAYS CUP
Zanaco and Roan United’s Barclays Cup quarterfinal match that was scheduled to be played at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola this Saturday
has been postponed.
This is because Zanaco has five first team players in the Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup outing in Zimbabwe.
The match will be played at a later date to be announced by Faz.
Meanwhile, Saturdays other scheduled Barclays Cup matches will go ahead as scheduled with defending champions Zesco hosting Power Dynamos at the Trade Fair Grounds.
And at Woodlands Stadium, Green Buffaloes face National Assembly at 12:00 while Choma Eagles clash with Nkana at the same venue at 15:00.
Go Kalampa Go. We are behind you…… Do not allow the eagles to fly even if it is independence day.
