  1. Only our very own HERB and Sekuru Mugabe attended this summit hosted by Museveni. Gaddafi and other African leaders shunned it!

  2. Fuel was unnecessarily burnt to Kampala mwebantu. Even if people say the problem is supposed to attend summits and stuff like that, teifi.

  3. 24 foreign trips in 11 months is a record for a President. The MMD should submit this to for inclusion in the Guinness World Records. Where next Mr. President? When are you ever going to address issues facing Zambians?

  4. President Banda has traveled to 16 countries during the 11 months of his presidency. President Banda has travelled to Zimbabwe twice, Kenya twice, South Africa twice, Uganda twice, Nigeria, Libya, Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Swaziland, Democratic Republic of Congo, Italy, the United States, Cuba and Venezuela.

  7. #9 Chamafiga. Ive just had a look at the horrific pictures on the Post site. im in total shock and owe.. What wrong have we done to deserve such embarassment?

  8. Only the host president Museveni, the AU Chairman Ghadafy and the senile sekuru Mugabe besides Banda attended this meeting. As a slap in the face, Kanitundila was seen off at the airport by Minister of State For Foreign Affairs Oryem Henry Okello. All Africans now do not take this f o o l seriously. And he came back to find Kapijimbanga’s husband has resigned from the ruling party to join the opposion and to run for Central Solwezi by election, yet Banda does not seem to realise things in North-Western are like Western falling apart for MMD. Kanitundila now has zero re-election chance, he has doomed himself.

  9. there’s another AU summit in Nigeria on the 26th or 27th, not sure. DO NOT AT ALL BE SURPRISED IF OUR VERY OWN DECIDES TO BLOW THERE AS WELL

  10. MUNYONYO Speke Hotel” in kampala is full of “malaya’s” they line up outside like they do in Addis Abba road in Lusaka!!

  11. #13. VICTORIA, The place where the meeting took place is my playground. It is called MUNYONYO COMMON WEALTH RESORT also called SPEKE RESORT. It is on the beach of Lake Victoria. There are many beaches there like LIDO Beach, Imperial beach. It is a nice facility with a Presidential lounge. The place is very expensive. I had taken a girl friend there.

  12. there is another Speke Hotel close to Sheraton and Nile Hotels in Kampala.. women used to chase my car like they do in Addis… used to go and eat fish at Gaba beach, barbeques at Enttebe beach… maybe they have changed the names now..
