  1. Yes, confusion aimed at sowing seeds of instability should be dealt with ruthlessly. PF and their associates are in the habit of insulting and being violent and this should not be condoned especially that the tide is shifting and they are panicking what with FTJ’s first phase of exposing some self-proclaimed moralists as wolves in sheep’s skin.

  2. #3 Chinese Eyes- I want to respect your opinion but praising that desperate dwarf from Kasenga DRC on morals is also an act in desperation on your part bwana.

  3. #4 DeJa Vu, u right on. The people condemning Mr. Sata should also go a step further (10 kilometres) of condemning Kafupi. He is a disgrace to the office of the Presidency. Why didnt Mangani unless the police to arrest FTJ when he was busy condemning HH and Sata if he wants peace in the Nation.

  4. “Mangani said government has since procured riot gear equipment for the Police which would be arriving in the country at the end of next month”
I hope this former Headmaster did not personally purchase the police gear cause he will have a lot of explaining to do in 2011:-?:-?:-?

  5. Mr Magani it is not all about equipping the police with riot gear, The Same police are fed up of you and MMD government.Who would want to injure his own son or relative who is fighting for what is just!
For your information when people are tired and annoyed you can`t stop them. The same police are faced with the same problems the citizen are facing. You have no problem with your family you enjoy a lot of fringe benefits. How do you expect the police to be royal to you when you subject them to delayed salaries more over their condition of service are poor worse still their salaries is nothing to write home. So be ready for a serious Show down, Think of recruiting your children for royality other

  6. Nice one Liku. The joke is on Mangani. Police are ordinary people when it comes to sufferring in zed at the hands of incapable MMD leadership. Just wait and see. Mangani must be hallucinating.

  7. What is news in Mangani’s story? Buying riot kit, foolish news maker. Lets us talk serious national issues like the end part of the article were Maheba refugees rioted yesterday and life was lost due to our bad police act. Mind you Mangani, refugee or not, we all suppose to enjoy the same right, RIGHT TO LIFE. Am saddened with the loss of an innocent refugee who protested for respecting his/her rights but ended up being killed.

  8. This is all meant to intimidate the people and Mangani has tried it before, but it won’t work this time. These are the tactics of people who know they have bungled in the execution of the trust people put with them and that they have lost it in terms of people’s favour. Go build better houses for police men and women and pay them better, Mangani, instead of wasting money buying instruments to maim or torture citizens!

  9. Is this meant to instill fear in the masses?? these f@#$kers have misplaced priorities – thought they would be spending funds on addressing issues such as floods that are currently threatening people’s lives let alone improve living conditions for the same cops that will be putting on the riot gear on empty stomachs!!

  10. Riot gear or no riot gear time has come for MMD to pack and go. I have already convinced three of my relatives who wre staunch MMD supporters to vote for the PF-UPND Pact next year. I know that many Zambians in the diaspora are busy convincing their relatives and friends back home (Zambia) not to vote for the MMD.

  11. Okay if the Police are PF, then we shall use Commandos. The commandos are Hungry for War, give them and they will teach you PF cadres a lesson
