Rupiah won’t win 2011 polls,declares Sejani

The United Party for National Development UPND has declared that there is no way republican president Rupiah Banda will win next year’s presidential elections.

UPND Mapatizya Member of Parliament, Ackson Sejani says though former President Dr Fredrick Chiluba is campaigning hard for president Banda, his efforts will have no impact.

He adds that Dr Chiluba should not hide that he is not campaigning for president Banda.

Mr.Sejani however, says president Banda stands no chance of retaining power after next year’s tripartite elections because his government has failed to meet its obligations to the Zambian people.

Mr.Sejani further states that president Banda has associated himself with wrong people and that Zambians are not happy with his administration.

He also cites the failure by president Banda’s Administration to effectively sustain the fight against corruption, as one of the reasons which will cost him the presidency next year.

Mr.Sejani says president Banda should reconsider his decision to participate in the 2011 elections because the race is too tight for him and his party.

  1. Oh really , and where is that misplaced assessment based on? Emotionalisms? Good luck with that and trust me you will need it. Look at the numbers my dear , you are backing a loser get used to that.

  2. things are might be bad now but there is too much S.H.I.T out there, would not be suprised if RB will be in power after 11

  3. The disingenuous politics of Ackson Senjani involves sycophancy, dreams and self comfort even where there is no basis. He made the same fantasy drive to late Anderson Mazoka in the 2001-2002 elections, 2006 and 2008 and Ichilema’s ballot rejections. What does he know about elections other than some animal husbandry works where he belongs?

  4. Zambians even yo shadows will laugh at u should u vote 4 this old f.o.o.l. He stays in the air and thats where his country is. He is a proper racist who is busy insulting foreigners and donors. Surely how can a president be the1st to be insulting foreigners?

  5. The direction taken by the MMD that Zambia’s economy must be driven on knowledge and innovation means that Mr Sata and his gang of crooks and spooks do not fit into that arrangement. Sejani has no clue of what he talking about.

  6. On “Mr.Sejani says president Banda should reconsider his decision to participate in the 2011 elections because the race is too tight for him and his party,” this is the best advice that any Zambian must willingly give to Mr President RB Banda. Mr President RB Banda must also apologise for the m

  7. On “Mr.Sejani says president Banda should reconsider his decision to participate in the 2011 elections because the race is too tight for him and his party,” this is the best advice that any Zambian must willingly give to Mr President RB Banda. Mr President RB Banda must also apologise for the all the insults he has issued to the Donors, Opoosition leaders and Nationals who do not hail from Eastern Province over the Presidential By-election campaigns of 2008.

Mr President RB Banda must then announce that he will support any Presidential candidate MMD will elect at its forthcoming Convention since he should mention that he wont stand for Zambian President elections in 2011.

    Be blessed all.

  8. #1 MMD Chief Bootlicker and #3 Senior Citizen, with due respect, you can not urgue that Sejani knows nothing about politics. This man was a senior minister in MMD and its govt. This is the man who opposed Chiluba’s third term bird while he was still in cabinet and did not boot lick like you two.

As for senior citizen, you statement ‘What does he know about elections other than some animal husbandry works where he belongs?’ summarises why zambia is poor. Being managed by people with no value system. To you, Katele and Chiluba the plunderers are more smart than a hard working Zambia who adds value to the economy by rearing animals. Denmark’s economy is based on agriculture! Shame on you.

If Sata or HH forms govt, next year, you lot will ditch MMD and join the rulling party!…

  9. It is interesting to see how these politicians want to undo each other. So the MMD must let go of RB and elect a man who can take the party to victory in the 2011 elections.Yah! MMD has so many capable individuals like Mupombo and Magande the rice man….But I hear these men cannot win any elections any more even in the areas where they hail from. The problem is that some gullible beings think that even a frog or a hyena can win an election on MMD ticket. It takes a lot ladies and gentlemen……

  10. You wait for a SHOCK how M.M.D will again will the 2011 general Elections.M.M.D is on the ground.

  11. SEJANI, WHAT ABOUT YOU? ARE YOU WINNING YOURS. WHAT NEW IDEAS HAVE YOU GOT NOW. THANK GOD, YOURS IS IN THE RURAL ZAMBIA. OTHERWISE YOU ARE ALSO FINISHED.

  12. #1 THAT OLD FOOL CAN SINK SO LOW TO EVEN CALL HIMSELF A BOOT LICKER. SHAME ONLY DOGS LICK.

  13. Sejani had actually told people in his constituency that he would not be contesting in 2011 to concentrate on farming? While in MMD and now UPND, he has done nothing for his constituency and yet these poor people will give him another mandate? have been told some youngman (Independent) from the diaspora will be challenging Sejani this year. Wish him luck
