Outspoken Catholic Priest, Father Frank Bwalya has regretted Zambia’s financial investment in the National Constitutional Conference NCC, describing it as the biggest wastage of resources in the country’s history.
Father Bwalya who is also change life Zambia executive director said the only document that Zambians would get out of the NCC is a fraudulent framework that does not even reflect their views.
Father Bwalya said Zambians, regret the investment made in the entire constitution making process because it has been a huge waste.
He said the resources that the NCC has managed to gobble would have gone towards addressing the many challenges in the social, agriculture, and technological sectors.
Father Bwalya added that the constitution would not be ready in time for the 2011 tripartite election.

We already had the Mun’gomba Constitutional Review process. What if the “Zambians” expressed their misgivings to Frank about the senseless waste of resources by goverment through the NCC? He’s a leader of an NGO, which is comparatively more reasoable than Chifire and others’ state sponsored propagada schemes, mind.

next time, Zambia will hire foreigners to write the constitution to avoid pointing fingers at eachother saying you are the cause. Moreover, most zambians don’t appreciate what is done by their own people. They only see good in what foreign nationals do for them that’s why the govt is fond of selling assets to foreign countries in stead of acquiring or maintaining the good ones.
