Patriotic Front Leader Michael Sata says the differences in the PF/UPND pact are normal.

In an interview with QFM, Mr. Sata said there is nothing sinister about the squabbles in the PF/UPND pact because in every situation human beings are bound to differ.

He expressed happiness that the differences in the pact have emerged at a time when there is still room to resolve them.

Mr Sata says it would have been bad if the differences emerged in 2011 ahead of the general elections because Vice President George Kunda would have been vindicated.

He has also dismissed reports by some sections of the media that the two parties in the pact were fielding candidates in all the contested seats for this Thursday’s by-elections.

The PF/UPND National Governing Council is expected to meet soon to find a way of resolving the problems in the pact.

  1. Well done sir if god annointed you will make it with or without a degree but do not turn against HH after helping you win the 2011 election because your are un predictable sometimes VIVA PACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. It is true even wife and husband quarrel but they resolve the problem and continue in harmony. Let the problems be solved soon. VIVA PACT

  3. On “He [Mr two-university-degrees holding-claimant Michael Chilufya SATA] expresses happiness that the differences in the pact have emerged at a time when there is still room to resolve them… Sata says it would have been bad if the differences emerged in 2011 ahead of the general elections because Vice President George Kunda would have been vindicated,” nice stuff but what was Mr Vice-President George Kunda going to be vindicated about?

On “The PF/UPND National Governing Council is expected to meet soon to find a way of resolving the problems in the pact” why is the PF-UPND NGC which does not included the PF unelected leader MC Sata and his counterpart UPND elected president HH going to meet when what is required is for the PF-UPND PACT Joint National Council (JNC).

  4. Way to Go. Way to Go. the PACT should not split but consolidate. There is no way MMD will win the elections if the PACT comes together, no way out for MMD as they will be cornered. The only thing MMD wants is to be in controll of resources and benefit not service. They must be democratically forced out through the ballot. Any funny moves by them, we shall force them out by force.

  5. 4 continued

… [what is required is for thePF-UPND PACT Joint National Council…] (JNC) to meet so that both PACT co-leaders are present to make sure PF tells the JNC who will be eligible to be HH’s Vice-President if the PACT does not break and later wins the presidential elections in 2011 under the PACT presidential candidacy of HH since it is now public knowledge that Mr Micheal Chilufya SATA does not have any university degree following PF appointed-by-MC-SATA vice-leader Guy Scott’s clear statement — that Guy Scott has 2 university degreees while Mr MC Sata only has vast political experience more than Mr Guy Scott.

It is therefore prudent for the PF to clean its house so that the PF-UPND PACT can announce the 2011 PACT presidential candidate.

    Be blessed all.

    Matt…

  6. Word of advice your Excellency start drawing clouds in mwinilunga as well not just only in 4 provinces namely Lusaka (urban) , Copperebelt(Urban),Luapula and Northern try to go to North western, western, Eastern ,Southern and Lusaka rural ( Lenje areas) you cannot go to state house with 4 provinces alone. You can guarantee yourself if you can win atleast Western & Northwestern or if you are luck Southern.

  7. WHENYOU QUARREL THEN YOU HAVE FAILED TO AGREE HOW CAN THAT BE NORMAL. YOU NEED TO FIND AN ANSWER TO YOUR DIFFERENCES WHICH ISNT POSSIBLE BCOS THE TWO OF YOU CANT MIX YOU ARE WATER AND OIL. YOU WILL CONTINUE CHEATING YOURSELVES TILL DOOMS DAY

  8. The 13:00/15 hr News has given a live statement from Mr PF/two-university-degress holding-claimant Michael Chilufya SATA that the 2011 PACT president will only announce its presidential candidate when the 2011 tripartite elections date will be announced by the MMD GRZ Administration.

Mr PF/Sata MC has also told the Nation that PF is going to a National Conference/convention where there might be elected a new and first time PF president, a thing that will bring a new contender to UPND president HH in the race for the 2011 PF-UPND PACT presidential candidate although Mr PF/Sata MC made it clear that it is only himself and HH who are clear contenders for the 2011 PACT’s presidential candidate position.

This nice especially that Mr Sata wont qualify even a Vice-President of Zambia.

  9. I think today’s interview of Mr PF/Sata MC has become the first to release data to the whole world that PF vice-leader Guy Scott’s statement about Mr Sata not having two university degrees but only political experience is true.

Thus, I only hope PF will really go to its National Convention very soon so that the process of electing a 2011 PACT presidential candidate can start.

Have a blessed day all and pray for all PF cadres who are hostile to reality to come to terms with what has befallen their possible idol since the NCC will now work had to give Parliament its Draft Constitution that as they have closed receiving submissions from the public now.

  10. Zambia has taken over the Africa Growth and Opportunities Act (AGOA) Forum for the next one year following an African Ministerial Consultative Group meeting held in Washington DC. This is according to a statement released to Lusakatimes by First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Embassy in the United States of America B.e.n K.a.n.g.w.a.Bloggers(this is your MMD Chief bootlicker)Thats why he posts nonsense cause he is comfortable.

  11. If the Post newspaper work up on friday and find that UPND has won the luena by election they will SAY HH has riggied the election. These chaps are no longer trustable. And on the other hand should they find that Chifubu has actually gone to MMD , then you hear insults because MMembe thinks THAT he is a shareholder of PF.But all the best PF & UNPD we love you NOT MMEMBE POST NEWSPAPER

  12. # 15 i see you have turned into a cadre like mulongoti, wishing for the degree close to stop SATA. Sata is just a human being who will die one day but such foolish closes will have no use but to stop your children from become president.

#15 Think with your brain not with feelings of hate.

  13. THATS THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA. #S 16 AND 17, leadership isn’t about catwalk. Leadership is about wisdom, the ability to organise people, your personal belief to offer a service to the people, hard-working, and many others. All those qualities are in SATA. Degrees without the above mentioned qualities can’t make you a good leader. Most good leaders never even went to school in the manner you think. GO CHILUFYA, GO.

  14. Sata will never cease to amaze me, it was only a few days ago when he brought a bomb shell on his pact companion HH which almost dismantled the entire UPND/PF pact. Needless to say that the sentiments Sata has brought up are the same sentiments HH outlined after receiving the bombshell from him. So what has changed in the interim? Has it taken the whole week for Combra to be educated on the need of resolving the squabbles through a round table meeting. Sata should consult and analyze situations before yapping otherwise the pact is doomed. Clearly MMD was most excited about the squabbles and were already celebrating the windfall of short lived luck. If UPND/PF pact stays intact, MMD will certainly exit next year.

  15. The solution to the PACT issue is simple!!!!!!! Let HH humble himself and call for a Press conference pledging to rally behind SATA. After all he is still young and can afford to wait for his turn in 2016 or even 2020. This is the most dignified way of sorting out this issue,

  16. ANTI PACT #16 AND 17 ,,, if you have children ,please can’t you ask ask your child or son to help you think well becouse in what you are saying i can see any logic… if you a zambian and half of the country are like you much better turning zambia into a rubish site for Congo.

  17. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe for 2011 would-b President of Zambia @# 15 …you are——! do not quote the bible you blood suckers, in satanism you dont have something to use?

  18. You people, you dont need a degree to be a good president. Did Kaunda has a degree before becoming presido, what about Inacio da Lula of Brazil? Jacob Zuma of RSA.

Lets not discriminate on who shud become president. Zambia is for every one, I Can assure you this thing will backfire in future.

Look at Ivory coast which barred those with foreign parentage, iam sure you know the ghastly consenquecies

  19. pandukani banda

Why are you worried SATA has ACCA,CIMA,BA History,BA Political sc, and next week he will be receiving for his PHD in history economics. So he is the most qualified presidential candidate

  20. But you were saying sata has a degree. he will not qualify if you playing u kaponyas. You are assured that sata has degree where is it now…!!!! Tell us, you think UPND will allow sata to rule them…you are jocking man..man..!!!

  21. The Pact presidency must be settled through a primary election contest and not under the table deals. This is what democracy demands. If we call ourselves a democratic nation then we must be ready to live by democratic rules, FULL STOP!

  22. Even in marriage people differ. Even in a simple relationship what more in political parties. At least the prophets of doom have been embarrassed that the pact is still on.

  23. In marriages people differ, however some differences inevitably lead to DIVORCE. The pact have a humongous problem and all this comedian of man can say is that ‘its normal’, what a joker. The wise can see the Vultures waiting, its that simple.

  24. Stop panicking about who should be the pact presidential canditate. The most appealling canditate betwwen HH/Sata will lead the pact thats all.Let those entrusted with the task of organising the committe to elect the pact leader do their job.It doesn’t matter who will lead the pact after all. What matters is to get rid off mmd chapwa.

  25. People ease off!! HH or Sata – to me I just want the thieving corrupt sh.itheads out of govt. We need our country back. Sata is a serious developer, HH is a serious economist what more do we need ehh? Not ivi vimafarmers without farms just small mundas, dragging along deathly sick ones who want to cling on till 2030 so that they continue using our money to go to morningside clinic, monga bazafika naku 2011!

  26. I love the pact but why cant we hear fro HH now whether he can be vice president? I’ve been waiting. Maybe he also supports the degree clause? Something that has never made sense to me-am learned enough tho

  27. Iwe # 20, Leave M’membe out of this. Fred has done so much in providing checks and balances in this country! Without Fred, this country would’ve long been buried and forgotten. Long live Fred!! Long live the Post!!! **==**==

  28. Lets put our heads together Bane fwe ma Zambians during this time of Voting, otherwise, we shud vote 4 a wise leader, if we do not choose a good Leader we will continue living in misery. Respect.
